My least favorite park. Nothing to it unless you’re there for archery or disc throwing. Trail is all dirt and scenery is not there except for dirt and more dirt. Even the dog park is lame. Parking lot needs to be repaved as it’s completely full of potholes.

This is a breezy park atop a hill, fantastic open spaces, a good place to go during the Covid pandemic to have personal distance! Bark park and archery grounds are also available. The space is large enough you can even forget the bustling city for a few minutes. Great walking trails here, and connects to the consolidated canal trail. There is also an acclaimed Frisbee golf course on the premises.

This park is a good spot to use for access to the canal path and also has some good (albeit limited) trail options in the park itself. We did a workout that alternated between flat running reps along the canal with some hill repeats on one of the paths leading from the canal into the park. There are sidewalk and hard packed granite options along the canal. Surface in the park itself is crushed granite/gravel.There is a measured mile loop (with distances marked) in the park, or you could design your own loop with a mix of flat and rolling terrain.We also saw a lot of people playing disc golf and using the various dog park options. All areas seem to be very wellmaintained, and we saw park vehicles and workers during the duration of our time there. A great, safe option for outdoor recreation in Chandler.Also a good spot to catch a sunset over South Mountain.

I always wondered what was up here. Cool playground, archery range, disc golf, huge dog parks and an awesome playground. We also found a geocache. :)

Skeet there is usually no wait. The rest of the range there could be quite a wait. First come first serve and you wait in line the whole time. Nice location and facility otherwise.

Excellent park with an archery range, disc golf course, dog park, trails, and a playground. The playground needs more shade, but the kids love the equipment so much that we just try to get there early to beat the heat.

It is a great park for dogs to run and have fun. The park is well maintained. It needs some work on the watering system, lights and dog watering fountains.

My dog loves this place. Very large fenced area to run around. A shaded seating area on either end and a water fountain.

Nice wide open space, playground, archery range, disc golf, walking paths, biking path, dog park and bathrooms! The higher ground gives you a good view of the surrounding area.

Ample parking and easy access to the Consolidated Canal.

This park has one of my favorite disc golf courses in the valley. The views are scenic and the occasional low flying small plane adds a little extra excitement. This park has a playground, archery range, 18 hole disc golf course, and a large grassy dog park with ample parking near each area. Their are two clean bathrooms with flush toilets on either end of the recreation area.

Family oriented, well rotated areas provide open spaces for well behaved new friends. Shade ramadas are not as plentiful as the cement benches. Tree shade is a rare treat so remember those wide brim hats. If you arent hot your pet may enjoy the shade. Water is handy and I suggest you take your own bowl. A shovel is also present but I take bags as it keeps down doggie odors. People here are serious about keeping the facility clean and in good condition. Its a gem.

Well Manicured Desert Disc Golf Course

We love this park! Multiple areas for children of different ages and abilities!wear good shoes for sand and wood chips. There are a few covered eating areas mixed into the desert scene. Great walking path with mile markers and a view! Archery area is well maintained and the dog park at the top is often active.

You can’t deny what an incredible view this is.

Me and my family are outdoorsy and the park is a fun place to play at. They have playgrounds for all ages, frisbee golf, archery range, and big dog park. My family and I park take in Geo catching and there are a couple catches on site. Its a game game played world wide, I would check it out and its free or you can upgrade.

Very cool park, tons of parking walking trail, guide dog park, equestrian riding and a great play ground.

The archery range is a great asset to the community. But, the uncovered shooting line in brutal heat makes it impossible to shoot. All other ranges have shaded shooting lines.

Don’t go here at dark. This place is filled with cockroaches.Edit: Ill be more fair and give it 4 stars. Haven’t seen any roaches last time i came at night. But if there is no pest control, then that is what this place needs!

Love walking here, especially now that the mornings have cooled down. Theres a great dog park here, but I prefer to keep my dog on the leash and walk the dirt trails.

Cool little park. My boy does archery lessons there on Saturday mornings.

This is a beautiful, desertscaped park. One of my favorites in the metro area. It has an archery range, frisbee golf course, huge dog park, a couple of well-appointed play areas for the kids and, most importantly, two sets of fairly well-maintained restrooms (with soap!) and water fountains.

Great place for a tough, fun trail run. A little too hot to visit any later than 8 am, though. The view from the top (especially at night) is phenomenal!

This park is unlike one Ive ever seen! My husband and I play Pokemon, watch the archers and the dog park. Love love ️ this park!!

Very unique park with an Archery range and Disc golf. Smaller play area for the kids than some other parks but even some of the kids stuff is unique. Theres a dog park here too. Its elevated from the road so you can get a good view of the valley from certain spots. Nice park if you are looking for something different

For being a former landfill this park has a very diverse selection of activities. From a very beautiful and friendly dog park to an orienteering course to an archery range its a great place for both family and personal activities.

Good place to go to get outside for a bit. Theres disc golf, running trail, etc.

My son had a great time at the park . Only disappointment would be that people dont pick up their doggy doo doo in the dog park area.

The city has no clue how to grow grass, or how a sprinkler works. The dog pàrks would be nice if they had grass and some decent trees. It is sad to have seen the park go downhill so much over the years.

Beautiful! Great plants and we saw tons of birds and even bunnies running around! We took our dog to the wonderful dog park. If you dont know the history you should read about it, what a wonderful place!

Its a great place to play with the kids or bring your dog. There is also archery.

This is the best dog park in the Chandler area! There are 2 separately enclosed dog parks that get rotated for maintenance. The entire park area is raised 100 feet above street level. The dogs and owners Ive met here are friendly and great all around. I take my dog here at least a couple times a week and hes made many friends.

They have everything...so relaxing & calming to the soul.

It has 2 doggie parks, archery, frisbee gulf, bike trails and kiddie park. Never over crowded. View from the doggie parks is nice.

Lock your car door while at the dog park. Credit cards stolen and used before I realized they were missing.

Strange experience at this park. While this park is always clean and my son (5 years old) greatly enjoys it, during a visit last weekend, I found some disturbing writings and drawings inside the tunnel. The drawings were vulgar and the writings were very racist. I was going to contact parks and rec, but I ended up ruining into a park ranger that day. I explained to him the issue and he was able to immediately clean up the area. Being black, it always concerns me (mainly for my son) when I find out that a part of my home town has people in it that feels like this is ok to do (weather it was meant as a joke or not).So, with all of that said, Im still rating this park based on our enjoyment of the park, its cleanliness and the nice people that weve met their, not based on this one time issue = 5 stars.Also, I did take pictures, but they may not be appropriate for this site, which is why I decided not to post them.

Nice little park, and a solid place to practice some archery at their range. The archery range is very well maintained, and they even have staff on hand weekend mornings.

Really great public park. Has two large dog parks on the southwest end of the complex. Disc golf on the southeast end, as well a pretty decent playground for the kiddos. A small botanical garden on the east. And an archery range on the northeast end of the complex. Public restrooms at both the archery range and playgrounds. Also a great place to play PoGo.

Someone PLEASE tell dog owners to STOP bringing their tiny chihuahuas to the dog park where there are tons of big dogs happily playing and then getting mad when THEIR dog starts showing aggression. I dont understand why they are so willing to put their dog in danger and then getting mad at other people for it. There are plenty of other dog parks that have a space for smaller/timid dogs. Consider taking your dog there and save everyone else the trouble of both the humans and the dogs getting into fights. Thank u, next.

One of the best disc golf courses in the Phoenix area

This is a really neat place. They have a cool playground for the kids, a very nice dog park, and even an archery range! Everytime Ive gone its not too packed and people are friendly. Its very clean and looks well maintained. Its a nice peacefull place to go whether you are taking the dog out, letting the kids run around, or just taking a stroll. Its right off McQueen but its tucked up to where you arent right next to the road. I really like this area

The disc golf facilities here are amazing and are very fun to play on. Since the park is very elevated, it gives a disconnected feeling from being right in the middle of the valley.

The park includes a dog park, playground, Frisbee golf, and archery range. The archery range is safe, well-maintained, and never too crowded in my experience. The playground has normal stuff but also a spiderweb coming thing and a kids rock wall. I havent been to the dog park or played Frisbee golf, but there always seems to be groups doing each. There are all bicyclists and joggers around.

Dogs are well behaved & owners are attentive.

They took a landfill and made it into a great park. Dont worry about the smell, because there isnt one, but watch out for the heat. Youre higher up and theres less shade. The archery range is very nice and has a shaded shooting area, and the tire playground design is pleasant.

You like to come here because this is the perfect place for kids to play on a playground while me and my son can play disc golf. The disc golf course is short its pretty open theres not a lot of very mature tree since its a brand new park so makes it fun for the smaller kids to be able to practice and throwing hit the chains.

We love going to the dog park here. Can get a little overcrowded sometimes but still fun! We come here every year for 4th of July fireworks ! Come an hour before 9 or there is no parking left . Overall great place

Fantastic area for dogs to run. Handicap accessible play yard for children. Archery lanes and Frisbee golf. This is a wonderful use of space which used to be a waste disposal site. This is also a great Pokemon Go area as well with several gyms and Pokestops.

Really creative park built with recycled materials. By far the best Disc Golf course in the Phoenix area and the dog park us also nice. Highly recommend this park.

I shoot here regularly! Free and the targets have just been rebuilt. You can shoot all the way out to 100 Yards. There are always cool people to learn from.

Great play equipment and a nice big dog park. Fun for the two legged and four legged kids . Only problem with the dog park is no kids under 12 allowed in.

This park makes great use of a recycled landfill. Most the park items are repurposed and is a great example for children. The only downside is the parking areas and driving areas arent well defined. Weve been here and seen people driving on the walking trails numerous times.

The best disc golf course I have found in the Phoenix area yet. 18 holes between Par 3 and par 5. Chill setting on an old Land fill. Theres also archery with a decent size shooting range

Has a dog park, archery, Frisbee golf, and awesome scorpion hunting in summer. Bring a black light and search around the rock fences at night. Guaranteed to find scorps.Took in-laws kids from out of town, and they probably spent more time telling their buddies at home about this park than the Grand Canyon.

Its a great sprawling park, unique for being built upon a former dump, I always call it the Dump Park. Far from it, the park is very well maintained and has a great disc golf course with desert scape. The playground has all the great features you would expect, and it also has an extremely popular dog park, running trail, and archery range. Currently the entire park has been undergoing improvements for about a year (a bummer), which has mostly been pushing dirt around impeding the disc golf course. I assume its scheduled maintenance because of settling atop the dump. A nice bike trail along the Paseo canal runs right behind the park. There are also a couple of geocaches. Theres something for everyone.

The playground is fun for kids. The view from the Hexagonal Ramada is lovely. I havent used to disc golf course but it seems large with nice views.

We take our dogs twice daily and absolutely love this park. The dog park is always full of lots of fun and friendly dogs.

Pass Vista has an awesome dog park and great playground for kids! I highly recommend checking it out if you have a pup or a little one who wants to have fun!

Such a cool spot. Admittedly a little biased since Im a disc golfer. Aside from being a solid disc golf course the dog park, playground, and archery practice area are all top-notch.

We love the dog park! I bring our puppy here just about every day, some days twice day. It can be pretty crowded on the weekends but during the week days its less crazy.
