Easy trail with a lot of houses around it, glad i did it once but probably wont go back.
Great hiking paths, good biking paths. Great place to go on walks!
The trail is very clear of trash and conveniently paved over (at least the part I walked). It seemed pretty safe and there werent a whole lot of people there, so it was a relaxing time. Theres also a couple cool historical markers along the way, including one for some remaining pre civil war bridge abutments. Love the combination of nature and local history!
A good park to walk in with a family or just yourself and a dog. Very dog friendly, offers a hiking path or a regular flat path. The stepping stones are a cool addition yet hard to get by if you are in a bike.
Best fried chicken in Baltimore Maryland
Great trail for walking, running or biking
This park is the best. I used to take my dog here several times a week and she loved it. A wonderful Nova treasure.
Very bad directions. No park at this location @Google work on this
Im sure this is a great park but Google maps and Waze directions take you into a suburban sub Division. Never made it into the park or found the entrance.
Walking, Running, and Biking lowlands paradise. Theres a gorgeous mix of wide, beautiful, smooth paved trails, and narrower older trails, and unpaved trails. It all runs through low marshy country, a mix of wetlands woods. The birds are *really* loud on a spring morning, and the bluebells turn the entire side of the stream blue. Theres plenty of weird interesting bugs - but not a ton of the biting ones despite the water, which is nice. Safe, pretty, and long, with loads of entries into really gorgeous neighborhoods if you get bored with nature and want to look at nice houses with lovely gardens.
Great little walk down a paved trail. Nice meadow and well shaded in most spots. Its a frying pan with a mile long handle and another mile long loop attached to it.
Ok. Hours are same as most other Fx. Co. Parks= dawn to dusk. Awesome paved trails, gravel trails. Check out the abandoned railroad crossing of Cub Run, plus historical marker at RT 29.NO JOKE: People died trying to cross Cub Run, fleeing First Manassas battle.Makes you think.
Nice park with easy walking trails that sometimes get flooded with heavy rain. The park is located with in the neighhoods off Stone, Pleasant Valley, and Braddock road.
Miles of trails, streams, and nature. And its free!!
Excellent trail system. Mostly asphalt and gravel in very few areas. Good variety of paths with flat and breezy skirting the power lines and gas lines. Good for families with kids and the not so young. The system can be accessed from several neighborhoods and can be followed on Google Maps.
Awesome place
Good for running
Nice local park. Good for getting out with the doggies and play during nice weather.
You can have a real adventure followinf the wrong park that has not been traveled in many years
Its always my go to bike trail! Its the perfect length and its always so pretty and away from any buildings or people
Very relaxing with many many many paths to explore.
I love comming here, I usually run here every morning! Such a peaceful place
Mostly trails if that is what you are into. Wooded nature area.
Really great path for jogging, taking the baby out and riding your bike.
Great walk
Too much trash everywhere. No parking or facilities. Urban backyard trails for local residents. The two major sections of trail come to a V at rte. 29, but they do not connect at the far ends which keeps it from being a loop type trail.Good job FFX Cnty...
Our favorite local bike/ hike trail.
Good people places to park dont have to worry about being told thats very good
Beautiful
Gorgeous view immaculate soace
Peaceful and soothing place to take a walk.
Google Maps takes you to the middle of a neighborhood, not the entrance of the park.
Love being close to the water.
Awesome place to go for a quick day hike!
Its my pleasure to enjoy the nature
So lucky to have this beautiful Fairfax park next door. Even the herons were out enjoying the day!
Nice walk along a paved path along Cub Run. Hilly in places. Very pleasant.
One of my favorite place to visit.
Gorgeous walk but zero markers to indicate the access points in the neighborhoods. Finally went through the only location we actually saw any sign located off of 29.
It is beautiful but if could be dangerous. Never go alone. I went for a walk with my husband and our baby and there were three guys hidden in the trees with a pit bull smoking different kinds of things. I felt so unsecured. Thank God I was with my husband.
Fun running trails
Google Maps needs to work on how they handle their directions to parks. This is not the first time the directions have suggested I drive through a neighborhood to get to a trailhead with no indication of another entrance that might be more suitable. The park might be a great park, but I couldn’t get to it based on the directions provided by Google Maps.
Pretty little place to meditate.
The place is clean
Love riding these trails.
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!
Incredible beauty
Nothing to see here. Youre better off going elsewhere. Dogs wont enjoy it either. Stay away...
Its a nice patch of nature with civil war history but unfortunately it is surrounded by concrete, houses, traffic roads and the water is contaminated with fertilizer run off. We destroyed the ecosystem with grey concrete and building.
I go running through here, its beautiful and the paved path is pretty well maintained. Not a lot of trash or anything, so its nice place for a jog!
Lovely trails and open nature. Plenty of stream crossings to observe and play in. No structures.
If you want to walk quietly, Recommend.
Beautiful, calm and great place for photos
Fun park for a walk or bike ride. Very beautiful bridges over water
Great place
I like it to sit down in watch traffic under the bridge would they fishing
Good nature for this area. Also a neat visitor center with live animals
Its a great place to walk or bike. It also has bridges. Most of the paths are paved. It has lots of connections to the neighborhood.
Very peaceful, nice paths to go run or bike, lots of nice bridges to watch the water flow under you
Google maps tells us to enter from Kamputa Dr. Its a terrible trail that leads essentially to a dead end at a playground. There are obnoxious dogs in close-by backyards that bark endlessly at you. The map at the trail head tells you pretty much that youre at a dead end and Google maps doesnt tell you a route to any other entrance. Very lame experience.
Well kept paved or packed gravel trails, great scenery of forests, ponds, and streams.
It is so nice it is peaceful
Went here for a photo shoot. Lots of area to cover and nicely maintained trails
Nice place for a walk
Only walked for a couple minutes till me and my friend realized that it was infested with mosquitoes. It was also hard to find.
Very clean and tranquil
Poorly marked, most of the trail you are following the road or cookie cutter houses. This one is a pass for next hike for sure...dissapointed to say the least.
View of the old C&O canal
Quiet, lovely and fiull of life
