This is no longer Virginia Chase County Park. It has been renamed Rocky Run Stream Valley Park (Google will not change it even though I provided evidence and a picture of the sign). It is not a park where you park your car in a lot and go out and enjoy nature. It is a local resident, within walking distance from their home type of trail. The main part of the trail connects Aubrey Patent Dr and Braddock Rd. It runs behind a subdivision and follows Big Rocky Run. The southern part of the trail from Aubrey Patent Dr will branch off away from Big Rocky Run to either follow behind another subdivision and ending at apartments, or through a very wet and boggy sewer or gas right-of-way beneath a canopy of trees that ends close to route 29.It is not well maintained by the county, as there are fallen trees, overgrown vegetation that blocks most parts of the trail. While nice for a little 30 minute hike for residents, it is not a destination park. Do not let the popular times bar graph fool you. Ive walked it many times and I was the only person on the trail, yet the popular times bar graph was up to the maximum point. It must also pick up peoples location in their homes surrounding the park, as some are very close to the trails.
Nice park
