Great COVID friendly experience! Efficient drive through, outdoor picture space, friendly staff!
My friend group and I have been coming here for the fall festival since we were kids. It’s very nostalgic and always puts us in the fall/Halloween mood! Even though it won’t be the same this year, we are all excited for the drive-through hayride and market. Its such a creative way to have the fall festival in a safe but festive way!
I love this place. It is so organized and fun for kids. Im not a big apple cider fan but they have the best and I always get it. Went with my grand sons class one year and he had the best time! It is great for the family
I have loved supporting Cox Farms for the past 10+ years. We go every year for the Fall Festival, Christmas tree purchases, and their summer bbq sandwiches. Their farm is fun and well maintained, the staff always seem happy, the food options are delish (highly rec the kettle corn ), and above all else, they stand up and speak out on their values. We love Cox Farms.
They are doing a great job with amending this fun experience for a safe adventure for families during this crazy timeWish we could have explored more but the baby loved it and we hope to make this an annual visit from now on. Great selection of merchandise too. Staff was also friendly and accommodating
To be honest, we never even had a chance to experience the drive through hayride because my car overhead 3 times. I will say the staff there was phenomenal! They came to our rescue and did everything that they could to assist, even letting us try to go through the hayride one last time well after they closed which unfortunately we couldnt do. Sam F., a fellow Buffalonian, was really helpful awesome and we will never forget his kindness and attempts to help us get our vehicle running normal again. The donuts and kettle corn we got before the car overheated were fantastic as well. We look forward to going back as soon as possible and we hope to make this a yearly tradition (the hayride, not the overheating). Thanks Sam and team!
So impressed with their efficiency and safety/ COVID setup! You can tell everything was very well thought out to keep everyone safe. So glad we drove here for apple cider and cider donuts- both are super yummy!
What a fun drive thru hayride! Our kids (5 and 3) loved the drive thru! It was well planned and theres even an extra parking lot to park a car so you can squeeze into 1. Yummy kettle corn, delicious donuts and cider, and great carving pumpkins too at the market! Also, they have a photo area set up with multiple staged backdrops and even a phone holder stand that was perfect for a self timer! So much fun!
Always a great place to grab a tree, and in normal years, enjoy hot cocoa and get pictures. This year they are touchless (be sure to pre-purchase online), you dont have to get out of your vehicle, the people are nice and personable as always.
Cox Farms is a fun place to visit with the family. Its mainly directed towards children being that most of the farm has animals to pet and activities for the kids to do. The is also a market and a corn maze. They sell food and drinks on the premises. Their pumpkin spice donuts are very tasty. And they accept credit cards! Cool. During the fall festival, it is cheaper and less crowded to visit during the middle of the week versus the weekend. There is plenty of parking space and things to see. Again of you have children they will be very entertained and its worth the trip. If you dont have kids, you can still check it out but you might finish quickly being that the activities are geared towards kids. Overall a nice experience and I plan to visit again next year during the fall. Check it out.
Always a great time at Cox Farms especially during the fall pumpkin season. Great place to bring family and friends with plenty of activities. We love the apple cider donuts and the kettle popcorn. The kids enjoyed all the rides and seeing all the farm animals. Highly recommended family activity for all ages.
During the COVID they have nice self drive ride for Halloween. Unfortunately no activities for kids which is understandable during this time but they have nice set ups to take pictures. With stands for selfie pictures which I thought it was cool. I would recommend to go. $20 per car. The market is closed however you can buy pumpkin based on the size and they will bring to your car. You can’t go out and really pick your pumpkin. They also have 5-6 items you can buy including popcorn and donuts.
Very nice place to work. I worked 2 Fall Festivals as a parking attendant. Schools, young minors, and their families enjoy going to Cox Farms in the fall. I would recommend this employer for adolescents needing extra income.
Wonderful experience! They handled safety with COVID-19 very well while still allowing as much authenticity to the holiday as possible. We appreciated it!!
We had a great time at Cox Farms self drive hayride! Its obviously not the same as other years but we really appreciated the Covid safety measures that were taken. We ordered snacks online and picked them up at the market before our hayride slot but snacks are also available right before you enter the ride. Our five year old really enjoyed the corny jokes and the witchs coffee shop. At the end there is a picture set up and porta potties so you can stop real quick on the way out. It was a fun way to kill some of our afternoon and would definitely recommend.
Well I didnt know that you have to order your ticket online before you come in. You also have to order your pumpkin online and anything else. Its a drive thru ride. I dont recommend you drive a low vehicle. Otherwise my daughter enjoyed it. It $20 per car.
Fall season here is just magical Great adventures for kids . There’s plenty of different activities to do . Definitely coming back next year .
Always a Great Place, even in this Pandemic! Safe Online buying of favorites like donuts & kettle corn.
What an amazing place to visit! First time coming here. Staff is great and super nice! I recommend this place and give it a 10! Thank you, Cox Farms!
My mom and I always visit the annual Fall Festival (even though I am 25 ) there are so many things you can do: pet animals, go down slides, swing, take the hay ride, pet horses, shop the shop, and the most important of all, take home a free pumpkin. :)
I went but turned around and left. Just drive yourself around without getting out of your vehicle. No hay rides, no pumpkin patch, no animals, no nothing. So sad. I’m sorry guys. Can’t even see Foam Henge.
Its like a tradition for our family to go to the Cox Farm Fall Festival, tons of fun activities for the little kids and big kids! This year, I went with my teenager group, they had lots of fun with the slides, hayride, corn field and much more. It was a beautiful fall day, we enjoy the free apple cider and apples, the donuts are a must! Its also a great setting for fall photo shoot!
Eventhough it was quarantine this year they a nice little hayride you drive your own vehicle thru. They should of made it scary and did something at night like this. Sadly though they didnt have much. Skeletons and little jokes everywhere. The popcorn and donuts are amazing though. So get the snack before the ride.
Looove Loove Love Cox Farm So much for the kids to do and we loved the apple cider donuts. Hope to return for the fall fest this year
Great setup, drive through market was very well done to mitigate COVID concerns
I have gone to so many fall festivals and a few fields of fear and every time I have so much fun and make new memories. I practically grew up here. Their apple cider, apple cider donuts, and kettle corn are amazing. There are slides, a petting zoo, shows, hayrides, rope swings, and lots of great photo opportunities for family fun. They even have a corner market where you can buy fresh produce. Their social media is a joy to follow, too.
Went 10/4/2020 for the drive through hay ride because rona. My oldest son LOVED it. He really wanted to do a real hay ride but we have a new born so this was a compromise and he didnt want to go but once we started the ride he was hooked. There was music and little games like find all the sheep or aliens.Everything was well organized from traffic direction to concessions. They used poles for swiping credit cards and everyone wore masks. Picking up our market goods was a breeze as well. We REALLY loved, LOVED the actors they had. The witches yelled at my son and said witchy things, the troll at the bridge threw popcorn at the car which ended up being my sons favorite part. He would not stop bringing that part up.Apple cider donuts were amazing as was the kettle corn; it was so very fresh. We got entry snack they had to offer. Apple cider was a little sweet for my taste but my son and husband loved it. I always look forward to the donuts and they did not disappoint; we got 3 dozen!(one for the freezer, 2 for now lol)We got to do pictures at the end. It wasnt crowded when we went for pics so that was great and they had multiple picture areas AND stands to put your phone on to take the picture so you dont have to awkwardly ask someone else to wore their hands and take it for you.Overall Id give a 10/10. They did a great job doing what they could to make the rona fall festival experience great.
We have so much fun ! Its was awesome and just for $10 we got free parking and whole things inside
Fun drive through service, safe and following CDC protocols.
The best Fall Farm to visit! For one price kids can run around and go on more than seven slides, perform farm chores, ride the tractor (15 min), take numerous photo opportunities, and a free pumpkin on the way out! A few things were older, but they definitely keep all the kids entertained.
A fun and amusing park for kids under the age of 13. Reasonably priced on weekdays and get their money up front at check-in.Some exhibits could use a little tender loving care.
Went with my family on a peak day $20. Was there for 6 hours. Will go again. Thank you Cox Farm we love to go outdoors and have fun with our kids. This is a nice place to do so.
I would expect a farm to sell veggies not their opinion - Dont tell us how to VOTE BLUE
THE place to go for a Fall outing with the kids!!! You will have to visit more than once to see and experience everything because there are so many things to do!There are countless different areas to play in across the huge grounds. There are AT LEAST 6 or 7 different types of big slides (many of these in sets of two) scattered from one end of the property to the other, not including the kiddie slides for the tiny ones or all the slides on the mini playground-type things. There are hay bale mazes/tunnels and just tons of places to climb/crawl explore.Aside from all that there is a hayride, a haunted corn maze (but not too scary for my 3-year-old), and animals all over! We even saw baby ducks, pigs and cows. There are countless places staged for photo ops to capture the memories. There are tons of food options including very yummy donuts, cider and kettle corn all made there. The pulled pork is amazing!Seating areas, including covered ones, are scattered throughout the grounds. They often have bands playing. I feel like they thought of everything. If it rained within the last week then expect mud and dress accordingly. Dont forget to pick a pumpkin at the end - one free with every paid admission! We love you Cox Farms!!!
Great place to visit for fall. We will be back
Drive through !! It’s a joke won’t waste my money
I got two of the bbq to go packages and they look fantastic. I also spent time feeding the goats and saying hi to the llamas. I can’t wait to come back on a Saturday to see Foamhenge and get bbq sandwiches.
Awesome place for family fun! Plus kids under the age of 2 get in for free
Amazing fall experience for the whole family plus owned by great people with grounded morals
I could not help myself but stop my car driving from the listing appointment in Kirkpatrick Farms. This great place stayed busy with lots to buy at their stand and lots to see. Apple cider and apple cider donuts were big hit with my family.
I went early in October with one of my friends and we went pumpkin picking and bought some of the baked goods that were available for sale in the little market. Love their apple butter and kettle korn, yummm. There were alot of kids and field trips there when we went so this is a great place for families to go and spend the day and let the kids run around. I also loved taking pictures there with all the pumpkins.
Slides heaven!!! Kids and adults both love the various slides. Hayride was fun as well as the petting zoo. It is a wonderful place for everyone in the family to enjoy a whole day considering the weather is good.
I had a ton of fun with my nephew at the fall festival. Great donuts and cider, the slides were fun and the hayride was cute and enjoyable. Both thumbs up! I’m super happy about the inclusiveness of the owners as well, sorry to hear about the haters.
Cox Farms is a traditional staple from my generation that I am in sharing with my daughter. It is like a an farm theme park in a great way. It has expanded to accommodate more visitors, not just to take in more money. The experiences are unique and hands-on. From milking a cow to playing with goats it is an immersive day, and the huge hill slides are not just for kids The local market is a great stop as well
Great place to bring the family. Worth every penny.
What happened to the hay ride. I have been coming here over 5 years, and this year the hay ride was a huge disappointment. No scary monsters scaring along the way and no cowboys and horses at the wild Wild West. Ever year prices go higher and higher and you would expect there to be more and better things not less.
Cox Farms has been a staple to this community and my family. Last year was our first year coming, my son was 10 months old at the time and we had a ball! Nevertheless we came back this year and of course with our son being a bit older he had an awesome time! The staff is SO friendly and wants to see everyone have a good time! They go above and beyond to ensure that each guest is treated well, especially Mr. Jim who is the best tractor driver for the hayride experience! They give you a free pumpkin upon admittance, and children under 24 months are free. Leaving today my girlfriend and I stated that this will be a family tradition for years to come! Thanks Cox Farms for providing a fun family atmosphere for all ages!
After posting an online review, Cox farms did email us the Santa photo.Original review:We went to get our family picture taken with Santa at Cox Farms this year (2019) and they never sent us the picture. It was our first Christmas with our six month old twins and an important picture for us. They said it would take 7 days to get the photo, by that time another weekend had passed and we couldn’t find anywhere else close by to go get another Santa picture. We emailed them twice and got zero response. So sad we know that picture is out there somewhere and can’t get it and won’t have a picture with Santa on the twins first Christmas.
Used to love coming here until the politically charged signs starting popping up . I want to enjoy a festival and make memories with my family without having your beliefs smacked in my face as soon as you arrive. These political statements do nothing to unite our community . This family owned business obviously only wants customers that believe in resisting instead of accepting . Totally disappointed .
Fall and Christmas festivals, Christmas trees, food, smores etc. Great family fun
Nothing but that best experience I could have in a pumpkin patch with my little ones. All the themed slides, the hayride (fun for kids and for adults) and the friendliest staff I already had the chance to interact with made our day. I lost my baby’s shoe in the hayride and told that I’ll back later to see if they found it and they not only found it but look up for me in the farm and give it me back less than 10min later. Just a example of kindness of those people. I’m so happy for had been there. You guys know what you’re doing and I wish all the success for your business
Our fourth year for the fall festival and we had a blast! Slides, hay ride, kettle corn, pumpkins and more. We did the corn maze for the first time and had so much fun. Cant wait for next year!!
Came here during Halloween and it is a great way to spend the day. Lots of activities from pumpkin carving, rides, animal feeding, mazes etc.
Always a must every year, no matter the age.
So many slides! It is a blast for the kids. Small, playground-sizes slides for very small kids and larger, faster ones for older kids. Very enjoyable because there is a lot of space to walk around and enough slides that you don’t end up standing in line all the time. Plenty of apples and cider included in the price.
First time going was this year, me and my kids had a blast. Will be our regular go to. Donuts were good but my favorite is the jams.
During the Cox Farm Festival in the fall, you will find that unless you bring kids with you.. its pretty boring. I paid $40 for me and my girlfriend to enter and there was nothing for us.. just for the kids. A bit of a bummer.
Its just a fun place to hangout with the family. Also you have to try the apple cider donuts. Theyre the best!
Christmas shop was cute but oh my the cost of trees was crazy. For a regular size treat ie 5 or 6 feet, minimum $100 but more likely $130. Needless to say we got some hot chocolate and went elsewhere for a tree
My daughter and I visited the farm on Saturday 10/5/2019. We had a wonderful time. It is so well organized, with lots to do for all ages.
Great place for family fun in the Fall. Big slides, hay rides, corn maze, food vendors and lots more. Most enjoyable!
Extensive! Lots of huge slides and fun for the kids. Sadly no adult beverages aloud. But theres a vineyard just up the road that has a great yard for kids to continue playing
Quality products, organized, great energy, peaceful vibes.
We went on Sunday, which was considered a peak time so we paid $20 a person. It was so crowded that we left after being there for a short time. I’m sure it would have been better if there were a lot less people there, but $20 is steep considering what is being offered at the park. If you’re going to visit be sure to avoid weekends or holidays.
Will Always get my business. Thank you guys for all that you do for the community and others ! Need more like ya !
Good place for kids.. safe and lovely
This place is phenomenal. Great value and very well put together. Its basically a wonderland for smaller children. This is a must attend fall activity for families.
This is not your typical farm...more like a theme park than a farm. It was 20 dollars per person mid October weekend but it is probably worth it given all the attractions. Check out their website for actual entrance fees as they vary. Rides were getting very busy. Overall a nice getaway and fun p li ace for kids.
I went on a field trip with my students with special needs. The farm was more crowded than usual, and employees accommodated our group to make it a fun experience for everyone. We had a great day together!
Paid $20 per person for a total of 4 people. A small drizzle for 10 minutes shut down all the interesting rides for an hour. Nothing to do for two teenage kids. Probably fun for small kids but not for adults and teenage. Overpriced considering offerings... but good live music almost the whole time there, and the hay ride shows a lot of effort. I would not recommend unless you have small kids. Could have better spent $80 somewhere else for adults and teenagers. Our fault for not doing more research.
Ive been coming to Cox Farms with my family for the past few years. My kids love coming here for the slides and fall festival. I moved to Maryland but I still make the trip to Cox Farms each year!
This place is perfect for an afternoon with the kids. Slides, hayrides, animals, half a dozen food stands, live music, and more.
Overall the activities were pretty good for the entire family. Cox farms gets two stars for two main reasons. The biggest problem was that the food was atrocious. Fries that cost $4.50 were nearly inedible they were so overcooked and then left to sit and get cold and thus were hard as rocks. I asked one of the employees if they had more condiments and was told whats out there is what you get. Mmmm pickle juice for my nearly$5.00 previously frozen patty hamburger. Second place they need to improve is their tractor maintenance. We did the hay ride and the tractor broke down three times (no, not part of the corny story line they weave into their ride).
Cox Farms has a large amount of things for kids to do. This includes slides, petting zoo areas, corn mazes, and tractors among other activities. When operating at peak times, there are many places to grab food. During busy times, it is a mad house with all the people. Youll be worn out with all the stuff to do but it has become a yearly tradition for our household. If you want a more low key pumpkin patch activity, find a smaller place because this is the go-to for most in the area.
This was such an unexpectedly wonderful place. It’s huge! So many fun things for the kids, great food for everyone. Lots of places to sit and lots of space to run around. It was far from crowded on a weekday and there was something new and fun around every corner. The attractions are well themed and the animals were so well placed and fun to interact with. Definitely coming back!!The pictured slide is one slide attraction of probably 6 and certainly the shortest. Also the hay ride is like 20 minutes long and so well done!!
We had a wonderful time. People were very nice and friendly. The place was really fun for the kids. I enjoyed spending time with the animals. I also enjoyed the ride, it was really nice. I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.Tip: Go on a weekday. More parking and cheaper.
WONDERFUL! Beautiful place, family operated, local business, with 99% of stores online the experience at Cox Farms is something that Amazon can’t take away !
Wonderful place!! Great fun for kids and adults! Look forward to visiting again.
I love this place. It is lots of fun for adults and children, in the beautiful outdoors.I especially enjoy the slides... way more than the kids! You could spend the whole day here and have so much fun. Bring a packed lunch and picnic on the many picnic areas and tables. The farm store sells delicious apple cider donuts and other foods. There are hayrides through the field of fear, which the younger kids enjoy. There is usually a line whose length varies depending on the crowd size.Visiting the fall festival has become a family tradition.
Admission is expensive. The food is average. Here’s how to have the best time:- Eat before. The snacks are far better than the meal offerings. The apple cider, warm donuts, caramel apples and kettle corn make up for the food.- Dress accordingly. It’s a farm! There will be muddy areas, hay everywhere...I never understand why people wear flip flops and crocs.- Go earlier in the day so you won’t have to wait in long lines.- Go earlier in the season when the rates are lower (they tend to climb from $10-$20 per person starting at 2 years old as you get further into fall). For a mid to large sized family, that could add up. Also check online for discount days.Overall, this place is so picturesque and is the perfect backdrop for lots of family photos. We love the activities and will return again.
Wow! Such a great place for kids. Pavilions, food, exit through the gift shop, and you can spend all day here!
I have been to Cox farms for the past 8 years I went to Cox farms today in fact It is so amazing Everyone in my family loves coxfarms loves it
The price was good when they have a discount day! 6$ per person, was a good deal! All the employees really friendly, they always nice and smile to you! That’s really a good point of customer service !!!! They gave a free apple cider fountain, you can drink and refill all day long. They have the phone charger stations and diaper changing room for parents in the middle of the park, that’s so thoughtful and family friendly. But some of the food stands weren’t open till 6 pm tho, unfortunately!
My child went here for a school trip and all the kids had a blast. Theres so much to do. The best slide Ive ever seen. Kids loved the hayride and learning about animals. A must do with family in the Fall. And most importantly, this establishment is owned by good, honest family that cares about the community and our country at large. Will keeping going with our family every year!
Id recommend it for kids but not adults. I went with my adult friend and no kids. We werent the biggest fans because it smelled like animal feces throughout (due to the farm animals and horses) and it was very dusty. We both liked Butlers Orchard in MD better. The hay ride was very cliche and hokey due to the props we drove by and the actors at different stops but I would have liked it if i were a child. There were many slides that I saw th kids enjoying.I didnt eat anything there as I was turned off by the bad smell of animal feces. My friend had the same view as me but I think the kids looked like they were having a lot of fun.
We had a great time at Fox farms with our 2 year old. Theres an abundance of slides of every level and you get to take home your own pumpkin at the end of the day. The apple cider donuts are delish! The food is a bit pricey (a plain hotdog was 2.45) but if you plan you can bring your own food and bring a container for water since they have several refill stations.I also appreciated the nursing station and the misters all over the property. The hay ride is also a must and has lots of fun surprises for the littles. The only thing I wish they had more of would be more older kid/adult activities and maybe a few less slides. Otherwise would recommend during the discount days, $20 is a little steep of a price.
Raised price to $20 per person with nothing new added since last year- it’s just not worth it! 10 year olds were bored.
Loved going to this place until they involved politics into their business. Will never return!
Yes, it can be pricey but I think it’s worth it. I went on a Saturday so I paid $20 for admission. You get a LOT for what you pay for though. I would definitely recommend it for any age! I would suggest going during the week days to avoid the heavy crowds and it will be a more pocket friendly experience for admission. Their Apple cider donuts and popcorn kettle are absolutely delicious!
From and currently living in Alaska. I just read an article about your business and I will say you have my support. Thank you for rising and resisting- I hope to visit and patronize you all soon!
We love that the grown-ups can have fun too. We dont have to stand around waiting while our kids have a blast. Great slides, pet the rabbits, milk a cow, feed the goats, go through the corn maze and take a hayride.
Awesome. So much to do. Only $15 and includes a pumpkin.
Very dissapointed for the fear of fields.Thaught it was going to be scary but no it was not, I heard good things from the past but no it seems like it was a dream. Went yesterday with family over pricey and did not like it at all.
Great fun, free apples to eat and cider to drink!
Wonderful place, the best farm activities I had ️
I truly loved this place very nice staff it runs very smoothly and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg with the wristband you can ride everything for free only thing you will pay extra for witches foods and drinks and souvenirs you also get a free pumpkin with your wristband
Love this place, but make sure you go on weekdays
