This park has very nice trails. You can walk or ride bikes while you enjoy the wonderful views.

Love the trails and the fact my dog can be off leash to run. Have met many friendly dog people.Nice road wide trails, some of which run long the Carson River, some connect to other trails such as the Mexican Ditch Trail.I have been told that another mile and half of trail is being built to run along the river.Such a great place.

Good place to get some exercise but keep your dog on a leash because there are coyotes in the park at times

Nice place to hike, has river and bird watching area. Nice flat hike okay for children.

We always love going and hanging a couple of hammocks along the trail and just enjoying the nature. Really peaceful, and has well kept trails.

Love the trail system. You can also take the extension toward Silver Saddle Ranch that meanders behind the houses on Carson River Road, roughly parallel to Mexican Ditch. You can then hike all the way to Mexican Dam. I also love the river access and am looking forward to the restoration of the Empire extension of the trail from Riverview Park, which is closed as of this writing. Be aware of the possibility of coyotes. You may also see woodpeckers, ducks, geese, osprey and other raptors and even cows.

Great easy dirt trails barely any inclines. Great views and access to Carson River.

Its a great place to unwind and take the dog to run and play in the River especially after going to the dentist and having teeth pulled

Simple level layouts of trails from rarely used City maintenance roads/trail. Waterfowl, songbirds raptors and coyotes along the Carson River make this trail great.

Being my first time. I thought it was great. Theres plenty of trails to walk/ride if youre on a bike. Its a great place to. Take your dogs. Or just get out. And enjoy nature for awhile. Very peaceful.

The Riverview Park is next to and extends Winfield Park in Reno. If youre a local youre probably familiar with both of these venues. If youre not youre going to enjoy making your way at the river and exploring all the activities retail opportunities and the wonderful river. This whole area is a highlight downtown Reno oh, you wont want to miss it!

I walk 9 miles here every day and absolutely loved it. Youll see bald eagles Hawks egrets Canadian geese muskrats beavers

This is a pretty easy walk. Great if you have kids and just want a short walk by the river. If you are looking for a hike though, this is probably not the place.

Nice park with good gravel walking paths that parallel the Carson river in places. Minimal facilities that are very appropriate for this spot. Definitely recommend!

This place was great to discover. Nice hidden river beaches that wasnt too crowded. Its beautiful and you can build a sweet swing in the trees.

Great local park. Spring stream running through it. Only complaint is dogs are not allowed.

Pleasant walk or ride, scenic with lots of waterfowl and other birds as well as rabbits and the occasional coyote. Trail is in rough shape but the rivers gonna do what the rivers gonna do.

Beautiful setting for a long leisurely walk. Park at the entrance is nice with good places to picnic or just sit and relax.
