I really like this multiuse park. A small enclosed playground for children and a huge enclosed area for dogs. Both big and small dogs share the same space which could be a problem for some pet owners but I didnt have any issues. Waste bag stations, trash cans, benches and a water fountain are available. A porta potty is within the childrens playground. The childrens playground is currently closed for covid 19.

Great dog park and large, bigger than a football field. Dogs have been super friendly large and small. It is decently maintained and the dogs are picked up after with the rare landmine. The water station closes during winter but I bring some just in case. There is a closed in play ground the dogs cant go into that is also maintained. Jungle gym, slide and swings. I live close but people drive up to 30 min a few times a week. So its one of the better fenced dog parks in the area.

Great dog park %99.9 of the dogs and people are well behaved. Lots of shade, huge area, a dog water fountain, a playground and benches. FYI during Corona virus the playground and water fountain are closed.

Its a big, beautiful park where your dog can be off-leash playing with lots of other dogs. Our dog loves to roam around and chase whoever wants to be chased. Most people keep the park cleaned up and clean up after their dogs. Friendly people too!

This is about the dog park:My dog and I have been here quite a few times. Almost all of the dogs are friendly, and are good for giving a dog good experiences with other dogs. Ive watched my dog blossom and actually begin to play! However, mean or vicious dogs are not tolerated, to my knowledge. The park is fully fenced in, with at least three gates, from which you can enter or exit. There are a few trees, I believe, but the park is mostly just open space. My only complaint is that I wish there was at least one more dog poop bag dispenser, as the field is quite big. Please pick up after your dog if you take them here (or anywhere that isnt yours).

Great local 5-acre neighborhood park located between Sonoma and Stafford Streets for families with or without children and dog friendly. The main park is a large grass area that is fenced all the way around between both those Streets mentioned above with shade trees around the perimeter that Dogs are allowed in the park with the following restrictions: Dogs are allowed on or off leash under the owners control until 4:00 p.m. daily.  After 4:00 p.m. they must be on leash under the owners control. Dogs must be on leash whenever youth sports practices are being held in the park. There is a fenced in playground area on the Stafford Street side that has a jungle gym with swings, slides, play area, drinking faucet, picnic tables and park benches that dogs are not allowed in or near plus there is a nice grass area to play on too.Our dogs have an absolute BLAST here meeting up with their new and familiar furry friends on the weekend, walking around the park and playing in the nice park. Unfortunately no bathrooms facilities for adults/kids but on occasion a port-a-potty is here. Doggy bags and trash cans are provided here so PLEASE be sure to pick up after your furry kids so families and other dogs arent stepping in messes - again please and thank you. Also, there is no H20 for the doggies or owners in the main part of the park, so now you know why my 4 stars and not 5 because it would be nice to see at least one water faucet outside of the playground area to be available for use. So be sure to carry water for you and your furry best friend on those warm days.Otherwise, this a GREAT little park that locals like us LOVE, weve been enjoying it for many years and will continue to wake up on the weekend to bring our furry kids down for doggy playtime again and again. Hobey and Sadie approved and they both give Two Paws Up!! LOL

Sonoma Park is a delightful little neighborhood park, with a large, fenced dog park, and a smaller, but fully adequate fenced playground. The childrens water fountain doesnt work (as of July 2019), but the dog waterer works great. The benches could use sanding and painting. The restroom is a port-a-potty. Bring your own water and something to sit on. Otherwise this is a wonderful little park to bring children to.

My Dog loves this place. Its a wide open grassy park, and its fenced on all sides and large enough that she can stretch her legs and run. I love that its large enough that I can really sling her tennis ball without having to worry about it bouncing over the fence. Be warned, there are no water spigots so make sure to bring your own if youre going to be there a while.

I am a resident near this park. My taxes pay to support this park. I should be able to enjoy it with my dog. I have tried twice to take my small dog to this park. I have stayed away from people and kept him on a leash. Both times my dog has been attacked. There are several people that are regulars at this park that act like they own it and take no responsibility for their dogs. Neither of the owners apologized for their dog attacking my dog. It was only because I quickly grabbed my dog up off the ground that he was not seriously injured. As a result, I have not been back. This is grossly unfair! I would not advise anyone with a smaller dog to go to this park.

This park is amazing. Everyone I met here has been really friendly and have great dogs, and if their dogs get out of hand they take care of it immediately. Last week, the man who wrote the review who goes by Honky, pulled a gun on a pit bull. So beware of the man with the little 12 pound dog and dont go near him or your dog might get a gun pulled on them too.

Some people dont understand how dangerous pit bull/pit bull mixes are. Pit bulls are responsible for 30% of dog attacks in America. They are three times more likely to attack then the next most dangerous dog (Rottweiler). Used and breed as fighting dogs they are inherently more dangerous and deadly then any other dog in America. The more deadly the dog the more desirable they were to be breed. Yes, there are pit bulls that have gone there whole life without attacking. But there have been far too many who have been good dogs for years and then had there trigger pulled and killed children and adults. Ive seen pit bulls attack & kill. Maybe some people havent and there naive to the dangers of the breed. Dogs are awesome. I love them and would lay down my life to protect my dog. But I have no love for an aggressive dog. Any experienced dog handler will tell you the dog park is no place for an aggressive dog on or off leash. I will try to protect my dog because he can not protect himself, certainly not against a 60lb pit bull that has attacked. I guess some people think my dog should just die and I should accept that. Well dont worry. I wont be going back to this park again. My dog doesnt deserve to die.
