This place is really nice its just that one time I looked over into the ocean and saw 2 woman, 2 men (1 which I thought was a woman), a kid, and a black priest who was moving very fast. After a while I saw one of the men say star platinum: the world and a bunch of knives in the air then The kid rode away on a dolphin and the priest said made in heaven then all of the sudden I was naked this was a very weird thing to happen but kind of cool to see
This place is kinda bizarre. I got to hear a priest talking about “attaining Heaven” and for some odd I started getting slower and the sun started rising and setting faster. Other then that, this is an amazing place.
Talk about history and what made this part of Florida known as the Space Coast! The Lighthouse Tour is a really cool experience and can vary on what you are able to see at Cape Canaveral. They have weekly tours (typically Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) that are about three hours long that will take you to the lighthouse, launch complexes, and some of their programs that are on station. Their guides are super knowledgeable and will help paint the rich history of the space program here.If you decide to do this, youll need to reserve 2 days in advanced for security clearance purposes (4 days for foreign visitors). The cost is about $50 for adults and $45 for kiddos. You can do a group of 4 for about $180 as well.
Was good but I saw a dude with a coat and a hat chasing what looked like a priest
The visit was great. The weather report said there would be sun with a small chance for snails and it was right! So glad I could see the universe restart with my own eyes. 9/10 wish I could achieve heaven there also.
Beautifully preserved space programme history park.Well maintained and informative place.Must see.Highly recommended.
Marvelous place to see a a rocket launch and the place place is filled with people.
It was fine until a model rocket took off and things started going faster and faster. The dude in the rocket was yelling about heaven and Singularity and Rhinoceros Beetles. Other than that had a pretty good time.
Theres some black dude ranting about achieving heaven. I dont know whats going on. Vending machines have nice prices though.
Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) (known as Cape Kennedy Air Force Station from 1963 to 1973) is an installation of the United States Air Force Space Commands 45th Space Wing. Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) (known as Cape Kennedy Air Force Station from 1963 to 1973) is an installation of the United States Air Force Space Commands 45th Space Wing. CCAFS is headquartered at the nearby Patrick Air Force Base, and located on Cape Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida, CCAFS. The station is the primary launch head of Americas Eastern Range with three launch pads currently active (Space Launch Complexes 37B, 40, and 41). Popularly known as Cape Kennedy from 1963 to 1973, and as Cape Canaveral from 1949 to 1963 and from 1973 to the present, the facility is south-southeast of NASAs Kennedy Space Center on adjacent Merritt Island, with the two linked by bridges and causeways. The Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Skid Strip provides a 10,000-foot (3,000 m) runway close to the launch complexes for military airlift aircraft delivering heavy and outsized payloads to the Cape. A number of American space exploration pioneers were launched from CCAFS, including the first U.S. Earth satellite in 1958, first U.S. astronaut (1961), first U.S. astronaut in orbit (1962), first two-man U.S. spacecraft (1965), first U.S. unmanned lunar landing (1966), and first three-man U.S. spacecraft (1968). It was also the launch site for all of the first spacecraft to (separately) fly past each of the planets in the Solar System (1962–1977), the first spacecraft to orbit Mars (1971) and roam its surface (1996), the first American spacecraft to orbit and land on Venus (1978), the first spacecraft to orbit Saturn (2004), and to orbit Mercury (2011), and the first spacecraft to leave the Solar System (1977). Portions of the base have been designated a National Historic Landmark for their association with the early years of the American space program.
You need to be Active Duty Military or a Contractor to get here. Or be on the Early Space Tour from KSC Visitor Complex.
Incredible place to bring the kids.
After being the only one in my family who wanted to go here it took a lot of convincing. however we went and by the end of the day they were happy we went. magnificent place!
Very nice and beautiful place, especially in the new moon. Here I felt as if I was almost in heaven.
Dont expect to see anything terribly exciting or come away with amazing pictures to post online. And, unless you have the opportunity to visit one of the four active launch sites, what youll probably see are just the crumbling reminders of some of mankinds greatest achievements. That said, if youre able to close your eyes and imagine yourself in the shoes of the pioneers of the space program, youll soon realize that youre standing on hollowed ground. For me, the experience was worth much more than the sum of its parts.
Brought both my sons and my wife to see the SpaceX launch on March 5, 2016. Awesome! We had a great time, the noise was thunderous. A space launch is a spectacle everyone should get the chance to see.
It was good. until some priest came along and ruined it for every one.
You gotta watch a launch!
Impressive area.
AMAZING! Thanks to some connections and friends, we were able to watch a rocket launch from mission command just a mile from the launch pad. Absolutely incredible!
Always amazing stuff going on here. Highly recommend watching a launch in person. Just be prepared for launch delays and reschedules. They happen often unfortunately.
