The Freedom 7 monument could only be visited by bus tours. We specifically took the Cape Canaveral specialized bus tour that took you to most of the historic launch complexes which included Launch Complexes 26, 5, 6, 34, 14, and drove by a few others. The momument wasnt much but a few markers and names. Our bus did take us down to the launch pad down the path from the marker which hosted John Glens historic launch. The launchsite even still had the parking spots with the astronauts names on them.
