Love seeing the wall such a great statement but the park is outrun and outdated. It needs improvements for sure. Security would be nice since you see all kind of shady activity going on.

This is a beautiful park! It has almost everything, running/walking trail, kids playground, basketball court, baseball field, and garden section

At one time we the community almost lost this park due to the university council leadership members. If you come by well lets say the environment setting is well planned by the city. Very nice view surrounded by natures green. Playground for the children, walking, running, small hill, and other thing to see. Thats for you to come by see. Come at your own risk!

Very calm and relaxing during the day...plenty of big trees for shade....public restrooms available.

Its a really good place for basketball even have lights now next to the basketball parks

Great park!! Park needs more lighting!! Gets very dark at night. Park closes at 10:00pm. Do notnfeelsnsafe because of inadequate lighting.....on the border.

Very spacious with many things to do as a family. It has two basketball courts and two baseball fields, not to mention barbecue pits (4) and a running trail. It also has swings, slides and monkey bars and public bathrooms. Very well kept and clean. Excellent place for photography shoots.

Clean and safe. Only downside is that there is very dim lighting around the basketball courts and benches. So, cant really be there too long after sundown. Picture was taken with flash.

Honestly been there a few times,, never fails always great for a nice jog,,.. Just one heads up,,a nice lighting down by the basketball court area would be perfect me a person that loves to shot some hoops

It is a great place close to historical downtown and also UTRGV and TSC on which you can go to relax after a long day from work, school, or even after workout! It has public bathrooms, nice parking lot, and also green all around! Dont forget to come during Sundays for great softball and kickball

A great place for a family visit. Plenty of things to do with your kids. Dont go during the day Monday - Friday. Students us the parking lot while attending classes the University across the street.

Nice park overall but restrooms need to be a little bit more clean, the community needs to not make a mess when they go and use them.

The first time I went, there was time if litter. This time, my daughter and I were alone and it was clean and nice.

Good place to chill with the family. There are a few joggers usually toward the end of the day. Kids will have fun at the playground.

I love it especially the trees so big and with lots of shade.

Okay the playground was okay and so were the trails, the restroom was something else it seemed like no one ever cleans them, I mean urine on the floor it smelled horrible and its ashamed because kids go there to enjoy themselves and them having to go to a place in that condition is unacceptable, shame on the city of Brownsville where is all our tax money going hmmm!!!

Had party in canopy but electricity was not on... well at least restrooms were open...

This is an excellent park. Very close to the border. Wildlife trails. Huge ampitheatre that could host an awesome open-air concert.

There are usually a lot of mosquitoes and immigration comes and goes constantly but its close to college and its a good place to jog, play basketball and they have an area for kids to play
