Beautiful well-maintianed park with great splash pad! Lots of wheelchair accessibility. And to the person who said the water was off, there is a pole in the pad that is purple with a green top. You have to push down on it, which is strange because it seems like it has no button or does not perform a function, but that is how you get the water on. Good luck!

If it wasnt for being invited to a birthday party I wouldnt have known about this park. I liked it so much I thought I was somewhere else out of town. I noticed its not finished but I still enjoyed being there as much as my kids did. It was nice to see so many families enjoying the outdoors, while having cookouts. There are trails for walking or jogging even bike riding. Its also pet friendly and there are restrooms (some parks dont have any). I hope they plant more trees and native plants. Now I that I know of the existence of this park I cant wait to go back.

Great family park. Verybwell kept up. The play area is so much fun. Splash parks are always great in this very hot weather. There are bbq pits. It is open to the public. The splash park doesnt turn on till 10 am. I have been there quite a few times. There are also volleyball courts in the back.

The park is great but they arent enforcing the use of mask and we think is important to do that.

Great and awesome park. This place is incredible.

Went late in the evening with my kids. Pretty chill, love the big Cascade Mountain with changing lights and the bridge was fun. Climbed up the stairs by the volleyball fields and reached the top at the base of the flagpoles. Walked around the circumference of it with my family in under an hour. Basketball games were going on, looked fun. Playground was clean. Water chorritos were off but I then again its winter.

We love this park. It’s dog friendly and there is something to do for everyone in your family. There is always security when we go.

Great park, but Brownsville, why put it next to a water treatment facility, some days smells horrible. Always know I’m nearby cascade park when I smell poo

Wonderful park with many trails for walking.However I would love several water stations on the trails and a couple of places to throw away my trash.

Love this park! Beautiful, spacious, clean and plenty to do. From playing basketball at the court, volleyball and a small playground for the little ones. Including a small water area and bbq pits & tables to gather with your loved ones. Not to mention the long walking trails.

Its a nice park with a nice water feature. There are picnic tables, playgrounds for the kids and a walking trail. I saw people with their pets, so it seems to be a pretty friendly destination. At night the Cascades are lit up with different colored lights.

Loved it specially right now since its decorated with holiday lights. The bridge is awesome my kids loved every moment of it.

Really nice place, very clean, has walk trails, just that in the summer theres lots of mosquitoes, cook out stationarys, volleyball nets, soccer fields, basketball court, you can bring your dogs, kids playground is small

Everything is closed due to the pandemic so its just the rock formation.

Definitely plenty of cabanas, I believe I counted 13. Sadly only two play areas. One for younger kids and the other for older kids, and they are definitely on the smaller size.. there is also one wet play area..

Cool place to hang out with family on a nice day. Had a cookout using the grill. Make sure you bring a grill brush to clean though.

This park is very clean, has grills for cookouts and a water playground that kids and parents can enjoy and of course a beautiful cascade

This park is great! Its in a nice quiet place, and its view is lovely! Its big, its pretty, and there is a section for kids with water and all. I like that you just press a button and the water starts but ends so if there isnt anyone there the water doesnt waste! Its dog friendly kid friendly, and they have a Cascade its beautiful and at night the lights turn on it looks magical!

The man-made Cascade with the lights that change color in the evening is great to look at and enjoy the cool water on a hot day here... basketball courts in great shape and a lot of playground activities for kids..... Including a few places where they can get sprayed with the cool water mist... very busy on the weekends especially this Labor Day... But still plenty of room not crowded at all

Very good park here, the only thing I should say is that they tend to close with any little rain. I would suggest to close only a portion but they close the park all day.

Needs more than only 1 basketball court. Other than that everything is great

This park is the best park in the Lower Valley. It is well kept, very clean and and well equipped. I enjoy quiet walks reflecting on topics that the Holy Spirit gives me. I would recomend it for personal soul searching and also excellent for cook ourts and family gatherings. God s blessing for all those that made it possible.

Clean and very nice enviroment for kids. Away from any moving vehicles.

Great place to cook out and take kids to run and get wet

I had one of the most memorable experiences of my life here. Its a nice place and generally nice people show up here to bring their kids. Loved coming here.

Frist time there and saw it very clean and very relaxing I really enjoyed it i would go there again.

It is wonderful for a walk or just to look at the beautiful flowers. It is also very safe because there is a security and that what I really love about this park and it very clean .️

Very nice park. Good play areas for the kids, including a water-fountain style area.Grassy areas were green.Picnic tables were sturdy and clean, as were the grills.A goodly number of trash-cans.The only negative, gloomy side is people-caused...By this I mean the lazy ones who cant be bothered to pick up their own trash.So sad.BUT, as I sat in the shade, enjoying the cool breeze and the beautiful sound of youngsters playing,there was a bright point, to counter the gloomy side of humanity:I noticed an elderly gentleman (white hair and beard, stooped, moving slowly) moving along the fence bordering the resaca.He had a plastic bag in his left hand, and was picking up every bit of trash, wadding it up and placing it in the bag.When the bag was full, he shuffled to the trash can and shoved the trash in.He turned back to the resaca, and his face clearly showed his thoughts:Much better, now the view is lovely.Come on, people, if a septuagenerian can pick up trash, SO CAN YOU!When I left, I made SURE we left no mess behind.Take Nothing but Memories, Leave Nothing but Footsteps

This is a very good park and there is a soccer field, volleyball field and a basketball court to play in.

Great for the kids to cool off from this summer heat. There is a faint hint of foul smell every now and then from the pub plant but it comes and goes .

Great place for families. Younger kids can splash around in the water feature. The waterfall is lighted and beautiful at night. Good jogging / walking trails.No ingress or Pokémon stops yet.

Great place to go and get active. There are some volleyball nets where you can play. There is a splash zone where you can let the children play. Around you can see the nice view of the water. You can plan a small party. You can reserve a larger area where there are more tables and shade/light. Great place. Love it.

I love the view and the running track but the water area is always full with trashy ppl who dont know what sharing is, i think next time that someone rents out part of the area they should be reminded that the rented out a area not the whole park and if this is a park where you have to rent to be able to be here then i wont even go cuz its always taken.

Mixed feelings. The park is pretty amazing, lots of great little places to do things; run, bike, picnic and bbq areas, small parties, basketball & volleyball courts. The downfall is the continuous odor of sewage or standing water. Thats a real turn off!

This is a very nice park. It recently opened, so everything is new and in good condition. I think the thing I like the most is the fact that the park is relatively large. Not as big as the sports park, but still big. Theres still construction under way in certain areas, but it in now way stops you from enjoying the park. Theres a trail thats good for walking, running or riding your bike. Theres play areas for kids. Covered locations to sit. Barbecue pits at the ready. Hell, theres even several good fishing spots. But my favorite part of this park is how pet friendly it is. Brownsville definitely has a shortage of pet friendly places, and its good to see the park kept our furry friends in mind. The location is the ONLY thing thats keeping this park from a 5 star ratting. Its located right across from a sewage facility. The smell carries every once in a while, and its not pleasant. Not sure what the city was thinking of when they put that park there, I only hope they got that piece of land for a good price.

The BEST PARK EVER!! it was very well kept maintenance and all very nice but the structure and landscape was the beautiful thing it was well worth our time and we were glad we stopped not to mention our son had a blast especially in the splash pad area

Nice park. It is relatively new. Nice paths. Playground for children. They have a big waterfall that has lighting effects at night that is beautiful. The only negative is when the wind is blowing from the sewage treatment plant there is a smell.

The Park is literally brand new is a really peaceful place to walk, jog or ride a bike. Has soccer, basketball and even beach volleyball court. And also a big roof area for bbq and picnic.
