Beautiful place i wish it had a trail going thur some woods theres Raptors in this area

Awesome park. 5 softball fields arranged in a circle around a central concession and bathroom facility. Picnic tables near concessions have a perfect view of at least 2 of the fields at all times. The benches on the bleachers are concrete and wide enough for a bring your own folding chair, perhaps they were designed that way. Which in my opinion they are. Very cleanly maintained. Outside the park there are tables where you can grill and they even have a place to dump your hot coals to prevent fires. A+ facility.

Got tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday, 7/14/20.My appointment was at 1pm. Because I didnt know if there was paperwork to fill out, I got there at 12:30. There was a line of cars already when I got there. Test itself was very fast, about a minute or less but because of the long line and the safety measures needed to be taken, I left at around 1:40pm.If you need to be tested, please make sure you have a full tank, be patient while waiting your turn and get there before your appointment time. I hope your vehicles AC is working properly because you are not allowed to roll down your windows while you wait in line while in your vehicle.

This is outdoor all-weather equipment I was very impressed Ive been using Golds Gym and I felt that I got as good a workout on this equipment and its free hell whats not to like

Great place for any sports player.Offers multiple volleyball courts.

Pretty big place, lots of police around and border patrol in that area...I went for Covid 19 test... Not such a great experience

Brownsville Sports Park has something for everyone. My son loves the skate park, my daughter hits the b-ball courts, and there are miles of paths for my wife to jog. Great place.

Very nice and clean! Lightning in parking lot is a great plus! Definitely like this park great for walking too!

We came for the ice skating activity and we were highly disappointed but the park is great so much to do for everyone small or older kids. Great for the whole community.

Great place to practice soccer,basketball, beach volleyball, baseball, softball and just run or walk the trails. They do have a small open gym, as well as a section for kids to take the skateboarding. If you like nature you enjoy watching the pond. They have several restrooms and places for you to grilling. Not a lot of shade through the park. They recently planted more trees so that should change in a future

Great park it haves Soccer baseball a play ground basketball skateboard and bicycle track beautiful views a rasaca running Trail and a cookout area lost of parking it also have a snack shop.

Biggest park here in Brownsville, they have soccer fields, football fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, nice grass, and have restrooms available with vending machines for drinks on site, if there are any games going on, they sell munchies like nachos, hot dogs simple stuff like that, beautiful to go walking all around park, beautiful!

Wish the park was more friendly for younger children as well, the main reason I’m putting two stars is because the entire basketball and skateboard area do have lights everywhere so it’s well lit at night, but the more important part for the smaller kids has no light at all, I saw parents having to use their cell phone light in order to make sure their kids were able to see where they were going. Did not even think to get off waste of time.

Great family place!!!

This was my first time going to this park. As part of a team participating along with classic cars. It was done early on a very hot day. I think there wasnt enough people. This park is good for the fact there are many events, but on the other hand many people cant go because ITS TOO FAR and NOt everyone has RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

Not enough lighting. Desolate. Nothing to it, unless you like soccer. Why cant they plant some grass, trees, etc. It kinda looks like the rest of Brownsville. Make it look nice!

Dont waste your money

Its Brownsvilles main sports park in town. its large. holds major city events during the year. The 4th of July, Independence celebration is a must to goto if your in town for it! Tailgating is a must! Plus they have stands, entertainment and music! Plenty of trails and designated bbq pits!

Great for any activity, theyve gotta rake the beach volleyball area though, theres a lot of garbage in there and the sand is compacted. Found a band-aid in there once.

Awesome place with many things to do. From a park with slides to trails for running and biking. You can even host an event or attend a baseball/soccer game. Really recommend for anyone!

Plenty of parking and it is well kept.

Has a lot of potential, but the city needs to do better. Facility has great potential to bring tournaments and events down here and cant even do that. A little sprinkle the park gets shut down. Needs to be better run. Concession is ridiculously expensive and wait time is horrific and a lot of the times they arent stocked well.

The sports park offers a lot of variety. We where here for 4th of July. They had a great show and concert for this occasion.

The new dome is so beautiful and spacious! Great place for the family to have fun. It would be much better if it had more open gym for volleyball. Where is that volleyball love!

Great place for family fun and sports activities. Trails are awesome for walk a or runs. However, best to go in daylight as lighting is poor at night. The park.can use mile/distance markers for trials.

Great park has something for everyone, basketball courts, jungle gyms skatepark, hills for bikes and motorbikes. The skatepark is more for experienced skaters not great for a novice

It is beautiful and nice cause my daughter has been there to run she will be going to the Junior olimpics in New York we came to visit our family we came from McFarland CA she attends pond school the best school in town we will be over there hoping the best to all that are going to compete so here in Texas please give my daughter Miranda Cortez her best of luck on her competeing days our family from olmito Texas

4th of July Celebration!Lots of free parking.

Its a nice park overall with plenty of things to do including; basketball, BMX, volleyball, soccer, baseball, jogging, bodyweight excercise stations, and kids play area. It wouldnt hurt to have an either indoor or outdoor pool. It usually gets packed during the afternoon hours, so tend to go during the morning/midday hours. Also, the security guard doesnt do his job. Hes just sitting in one side of the park on his phone inside his truck.

Great calm location for your kids. My husband loved the skate park and the basketball courts. We enjoy walking the trail and being on the bridge near the water, its awesome at sunset. Amazing fields and stadium. You can rent the pavilions there i love the one right next to the water and the childrens play gym. You can get more info on prices on their sports park website. Restrooms are okay, id take your own paper in case though. The new gym there is so clean and a great attraction for the kids while its not being used as a storm shelter. Do hate that they slapped a car dealership right in front of the entrance because you cant enjoy the view of the park anymore. All the darn dealership lights are annoying and just ruined the beauty of what the park once was.

Great place to go for a walk.

The park is very nice but someone has to do somethong about them ducks they are out of line. We cant even eat where we are supposed to the ducks come over from the pond to the tables and go on attack mode to eat our food and second they have no respect for the child play area they are running, flapping, and biting kids on the play ground. I have a 3 and 5 year old and had to have them play on highest parts of playground and once slide down slide have them go back up quickly. If the ducks were not so aggresive i would give this park 5 stars. They scared us away.

Its a beautiful sports park. It has everything you could need of one. Its huge as well! Oh and did anyone mentioned the fact that it HAS WI-FI!? CUZ IT DOES!! So, lots of reasons to go visit!

Everything is good, with the exception that we cant take any food or drinks from outside. We tried to celebrate our coach wit a small cake and they refused staying we will make a mess. We cant even take a cup of coffee.

Long walk but always enjoy my sons games.

Firework display was awesome but exiting out of there was very disorganized

The seating is horrible visitors and home games spectators all have to sit together. The visitors are required to follow all rules and home spectators dont.

Great place to hang out and play but better wait for a cloudy day or go very early or late. There is almost no shade yet! I went around 10:30am and I was dying by 11:15 from the heat!
