I have stopped many times to take pictures and explore and sit and enjoy the view while on my zoom group.and my friends got married here as well.

You can spend an easy 30 minutes on this moderate trail and clear your head.None of it is too far from any road, so getting lost would be difficult, and the trails are walked and seem to be maintained regularly.Small trail, short trips, different possible routes, all lead to different roads.

33 acre park in the middle of the city. What I hidden gem. Small play structure & bathrooms w/ warm water.

Love this great park. Has basic bathrooms, small play area for kiddos, picnic area and some amazing trails.

Local, quiet (short) hike. Has a nice kids park in the parking area / trailhead. Small discrete signs provide insight another what is growing around your feet (wild Washington grapes, etc.). A good day hike for families.

Fun little park to get some earth time in. This is located in Bremerton.

This 27-acre, forested park offers plenty of cross-crossing trails for walking, in addition to a small play structure, horseshoe courts, picnic tables and a public restroom. The play structure has seen better days... but the forest is beautiful! Sporadic signs identify native plants and note volunteer opportunities at the park. Trail markers or maps would be appreciated and up this to a 5-star park.

Actually a lot nicer than I originally thought. The trails are well maintained and used regularly. Not as many unsavory characters as I imagined would be in here, but I do always walk with my 80lb pit bull.

Its a nice park to walk around during the day. There are many nice trails and it has a new playground. The local law enforcement is also very friendly. I have witnessed felony level crimes at this park. I have witnessed felony level crimes here. Many homeless people sleep in the park and. Do not come here after dark or else you put yourself at risk.

Great disc golf course, beautiful walking trails. Needs more play area for small kids.

Urban big trees. Plenty of places to hang a hammock.

I personally, enjoy going off the beaten path. Keep your awareness high & youll see the more enjoyable parts of this not so small park.

Nice little park for really small children. The playground equipment is really oriented at the small children. Does have a bathroom. Unfortunately the horseshoes attract men with cigarettes and beers. Not so appropriate for little children.We did enjoy spending a half hour or more on the hiking trails. the kids were fascinated with all the bugs and other things they were able to find. We enjoyed that part of it much.

Nice quiet wooded area. I think the scout troops meet there from time to time.

This is a cute little park with easy access. Just be careful of the refuge you might find in and around the park. Today we found pictures of the adult nature laying in the area where the play ground is located.

Great place to hang out, have a picnic, play on the swings and toys, or enjoy hiking the trails through the woods. Great place for nature lovers and photography. Quaint, beautiful park. Good place to relax and get away.

Stupid

Great park, very small, but very informational on 6 trees.

Close enough to town for a quick walk but enough off the road to kill the road noise. Well kept dirt paths, and it appears if dogs do walk through here then the owners pick up the mess (score 1 for responsible owners!).

The playground was well-maintained and appeared rather new, the trails were wide and well-groomed, the parking lot was clean and well maintained also. The only major detractor where the druggies trying to make deals or walk off their highs while my kids were playing.

This is a great place to walk the dogs. It has good trails and it makes me feel as if Im in the forest.

Its a nice and quiet area to just relax, and walk through some woods.

Has been my favorite spot in the world for more than 20 years because of how close to home it is and how much it makes you feel disconnected from the surrounding city.
