I am a member of the church, a musician who has performed there many times (including this Star Wars themed concert) as well as someone who got married there on the ultimate pi day 3.14.15 and I have to say it is the most welcoming congregation I have ever been a part of. The space is almost as beautiful as the people but not quite;-) a great place to worship and a meaningful place to get married.
Great, original Tiffany stained glass windows. Definitely a must-see. Nice old church.
Wonderful, welcoming community committed to social justice and serving the community. The building itself is also a treasure.
This church has the exquisite stain glass by Tiffany. Tourists come just to see the stained glass representations of stories of the bible. Church of the Covenant also is a pillar of the Boston community for the underserved population by loaning space to Womens Lunch Place which provides services, advocacy, and hot nutritious meals for Bostons poor and low income women and transgendered.
Kenneth was super friendly and entertaining. Highly recommend him
Suggested donation for entry ($4). Lovely windows. Quite small. Expect to spend 20mins tops here outside of worship practices. Lovely staff. Restrictions on opening hours
I could write a book about WLP...THE STAFF THAT DEAL WITH CLIENTS ARE THE BEST EVER..DONORS SEEM TO BE ABOUT ATTA BOYS AND PATTING EACH OTHER ON THE BACK..A GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB WHO PRETEND TO BE ABOVE REPROACH..BUT R NOT

Great place to everyone and everything
Beautiful sactuary tour with descriptions of each Tiifany windows. Womens Lunch Place is a wonderful org for Backbay women in need.
We visited here once and kept coming. The people are so friendly and welcoming, the nursery staff are very caring, and the atmosphere is never judgemental or closed-minded.
Went to Womens Lunch Place in the basement. Last time I toured upstairs the wondows were something to note in the church itself. A must see.
An impressive gothic style church in the heart of Boston. This place is nice to visit if you are in the area and even if you dont want to attend a service.
Lovely church. A good place to be in peace
A beautiful place to have a quiet moment
Great stain glass!
I was there for mothers day celebration had great time
Interesting stained glass windows
When the church is having an event, a woman will ask you not to stand on the entrance stairs, so you move & lean on the edge the hugh flower pot, and brick wall, same woman doesnt tell you not to lean there, sees you there and doesnt object; where you moved to stand is more against the wall and not blocking anyones path; few days later, you lean back onto the same flower pot edge, and wall, and OMG, this same woman rushes past you to complain to the WLP staff that you are supposedly blocking the entrance to the Churchs event. FYI: first time when asked to move, another family was standing on the Churchs entrance for about 15 minutes, with only about 2 feet allowed for people to go into the church, nothing at all said to them to move !!! I wonder whats really up with her particular selection as to whom, she wants to move ? Did I, in her mind, represent the homeless and didnt look affluent enough to stand in close proximity of the Churchs entrance ? I do have a blue versacart that I use regularly.
Beautiful structure.
A progressive, welcoming and socially engaged community in an historic (national landmark) Tiffany-decorated building. What not to like? Check it out!
I hate false religious churches.
