Lovely spot to sit and relax, definitely dont agree with the Christian Science religion, but loved spending some relaxing time in the plaza. Enjoyed watching families splashing in the fountain, a beautiful spot.

Amazing to see and free of charge. I used to live around the corner from this place and I would try to got through here whenever I had the chance. Its such a wonderfully architected (is that a word) building.In the summer you can see kids playing in the fountain outside. You dont need to plan on staying long unless you want to go inside. If you have a spare five to ten minutes of time and you are walking around in the area (Boston is an amazing walking city) then I highly recommend you walk through the outside of this building

A very inspiring open space with a beautiful pool where sky reflects upon.A nice place to walk and admire.The ideal place to meditate and a place to watch time pass by.It is also a nice place to pass while in the middle of some morning running routes. Fresh air and some good company always.

Great experience! The Mappariam is a lot of fun, the grounds are sublime and the people are all very nice. The organ (in the church) is amazing.

Nice place to hangout, if you like take photos of the Church, dont stay too long. The security guard said it is a private property, and you need permission to take photos.

Very Serene and Tranquil park. Great walk across the street from Boston Pops Auditorium.

This is one of my favorite places in Boston. The architecture is stunning, and if you have a few free minutes, I highly recommend taking the tour of the stained glass globe.

Nice spot to chill take a break eat lunch

Visited the Mapporarium, Mother Church and the old Church. Well worth the time, beautiful architecture, story of Mary Baker Eddy priceless and the organ playing magnificent, 13,000 pipes. Free concerts on Tuesdays at Noon. They are NOT Scientologists~ it is said in their Guided Tours :) Had a great time with my Grandson he is a pre-teen.

Great place for learning, about everything, from the ground to the sky. One worker is so helpful and friendly that he totally makes up for the other worker, that is just the opposite. He could take lessons from the other fellow.

Tom cruises religion. Wont be lost if you walk there alone. Buildings surrounded which make this square is wide open . With a long bench that you wont feel tired .

Now looks better, though there is still ongoing construction.

The beauty and peace of the Plaza are enjoyed by many in the community. The church located on the Plaza co-hosts activities with several public organizations nearby. I would highly recommend to anyone that they visit the Plaza and the related buildings and events.Note: Christian Science isnt pushed by anyone on the Plaza. My experience is that unbiased people and/or those who have accurate information about Christian Science arent concerned about it - hence the many positive partnerships between the church and the community.

The reflecting pool is beautiful I cant wait until its open once more... I use to just sit there for a bit and take in the day and I cant wait to again.

Amazing Boston landmark consisting of the Christian Science Church, Christian Science Monitor Publishing, and the iconic reflecting pool and sprinklers. Just stunning.

Architecture is amazing, significant. During summer the reflecting pool is amazing. Theres a fountain to play in. Along Massachusetts ave theres plenty of room to play frisbee and groves of trees to lounge under.

Beautiful architecture and landscape design

I had a meeting in Hynns Convention Center and lived in Hilton Back Bay last week. From my room I could see the dome of the buildings even I did not know what it was then. I squeezed time to visit it and found that it is the First Church of Christ, Scientist, thier headquater in the world. It offers free tours from morning to afternoon. From the tour, I heard that the church was build by Mary Baker Eddy, who is also the founder of daily (now weekly) newspaper of The Christian Science Monitor. It has a huge organ, which is still functional! Very nice and informative tour!

The reflection pool is super nice during the summer.

You have to visit here to understand the history and the fantastic architecture.

Well i used to go there and nap for an hr or two on the wall.it was windy day nice though security guard woke me up and said i couldnt nap .nice Christian people ha!i dont know what this world is comming to when you cant sleep outside or inside anywhere anymore...................america the beautiful.so there not that christian at all.
