This was always a favorite place to go with my kids, and now my grandkids. The exhibits continue to stay fresh. Of special note, we enjoyed the Mo Willems (Childrens Author) exhibit, and Behind Pixar (Animation Creation) exhibit. Felt safe (Covid-19 protocol) almost the entire time. However, the cafeteria setup was confusing and the food was not that good. (Pizza, for most of us, was definitely tasteless.)The children, 7 and 8, definitely enjoyed their time here.

They are doing an amazing job keeping the museum visitors safe while visiting. It was also our most pleasant museum visit yet. There were so few people we could actually spend time really learning from the exhibits.

This place is great for the young but adults as well. We went here a few years ago when we went to visit Boston. Then last summer we went back again and took my mother-in-law for her birthday. This place is giant! It has everything and anything and then some! The place was filled with kids and adults but you should check it out if you’re visiting.

The Boston museum of science was pretty amazing to say the least. They have plenty of interactive education for all ages above the age of five in my opinion. They host hands on science activities for kids that help grasp the concepts of science, and how science functions in our daily lives. They hold various classes and shows that are quite amazing. We went to the lightening show which was amazing and highly recommended. The body works exhibit is I believe $5 extra, but if you love the anatomy and/or art of anything Im sure it will interest you while also learning a few things even. The only issue I had with the museum is that I was 0/4 on functioning hand sanitizer stations. Once I mentioned it to an employee all four times, they just referred me to the restrooms. All in all a pretty great time for the entire family and right in the heart of Boston for other activities following.

The last time I went to the museum, it was fun and exciting because of all the interactive exhibits but it was a long time ago. Its always fun learning about different things in the world and universe at this museum. I hope to go there again sometime and maybe talk to the director of the museum. Also, are dogs allowed into the museum during quarantine?

An Intricate Place And Well Worth The Visit. Been Here Several Times And Is Unique, Modern, And A Great Stop To Go To If Your In Boston. Prices Are Decent And Has Many Interactive Subjects Within The Building. Boston Museum Of Science Covers It All From The Body To Weather To Even An Artistic Platform. Again If Your In Boston Visit Since It Is Well Worth The Time.

Visited again after several years. This is a great example of a place that changes often, yet even when returning after a while you can expect many of the exhibits you remember fondly to still be there. The temporary exhibits are always interesting, many of the classic ones have been updated. Certainly worth a visit, definitely tested more towards young children but adults can certainly enjoy some time spent here as well.

My kids love coming here. First off we like the fact that they have a changing exhibit every few weeks. Then on top of that they had a fun engineering project for them to do. It was about bobsledding and how fast or slow the kids can make it go. Then they could race them either on the flat surface or hilly surface. After that we went to the omni theater and the movie was very well done.Overall great experience!

Absolutely one of the most educational and interactive locations in New England. Well maintained exhibits, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even when very crowded (as it was during school vacation week) your experience is sure to be worth it. Check out the free showcases like the lightning display or the live animal talks and if you have the time, the planetarium and Omni theaters have a constantly changing array of educational and entertaining shows. Parking can be a pain, but be patient, it is worth it!

I have been going to the Museum of Science for 50 years, and I love it. On this occasion there were 350 kids who slept over the night before, and an additional 1600 that came in by 10am. Everything was congested, the walkways had bags and kids sitting and laying in them. There were many broken or absent displays, and it was rather unimpressive. While other science museums across the country have advanced, and offered interesting and extensive interactive exhibits and discovery opportunities, Boston has stayed rather static. Their accessibility needs to improve as well. It is not an inexpensive proposition, but find that it would not be worth the money expended.

This museum is actually designed and intended for children. So not a lot of real science, but lots of runny noses and screaming instead. This is not a bad thing per se but one should be noticed of the fact before paying the severely overpriced entry fee of 29$

To be honest I picked the wrong day to bring my three girls. We decided to visit on Veterans day and the Museum was so busy we had to park at the Cambridge side Galleria. It was not an enjoyable visit at all. We had to pay extra for each exhibit we wanted to see. And then when we signed up for our turn in the Discovery center because it was at capacity. We were told 1 hour and 15 minutes. No problem, we walked around checked out a few different things and gave some extra time. We went back to check where we were on the list after waiting just shy of 2 hours. The woman keeping track of how many people that were in the playroom informed us that it would most likely be another 90 minutes or longer. Needless to say at this point I was pretty upset. We removed our names from the list and went home. In the Boston traffic it took us about an hour and forty minutes. I would recommend not going on a Holiday or school vacation day.

Its kind of overpriced. There was a Thomas the train exhibit for little kids, which I have, but it was a small room with really not.much to do and there was no explanations on how to use the things that were supposed to scientific. We left in 5 mins. The rest of the stuff is ok, but you have to pick up a phone at every station to listen about whatever it is and with a group of kids thats impossible.so you mostly just look at stuff and walk away not knowing much about it. The human body room was cook though because it was interactive.you had a wrist band you scanned at every station there was actual activities you do that gave you information about yourself and they we short so taking turns was relatively easy. With such a big museum I expected it would take some time to get through it all but we spent most of our time in the body room and mini playground. For what you pay thats not really that interesting.and all the shows cost extra. We did the planetarium show about Mars and it was pretty boring considering the cool theater they do it in. I had kids with me age 1 to 13 and the experience was the same for all
