To clear up some history: the current lighthouse at Boston Light is NOT Americas first lighthouse, it is Americas second lighthouse. The original Boston light, which was the first in the country, was torched by those pesky redcoats during the American Revolution. Then New Jersey pulled up and built a lighthouse before Boston Light could be rebuilt. TLDR, the current Boston Light is the second-oldest. Still dope tho.
