Very beautiful and well kept grounds. The inside of the visitor center is coordinated nicely, modern touch screen information desks are very large, easily read, and understood.. Plus navigating the computer program to find information you are looking for is as simple as it gets. This location can definitely be entertaining to a broad variety of people. Children, Train enthusiasts, leisure walkers, historians, tour seekers, and all those in between. I cant see anyone being dissatisfied with spending some quality time roaming the property, checking out the gift shop, asking questions about its history, and admiring the magnitude of one the industrial revolutions largest steel refineries.. If anything that alone leaves the longest lasting impression after leaving, to think that men had assembled an immovable structure using only ropes, chains, wrenches, and their own two hands.. With virtually zero forms of power equipment available at the time.Charles M. Schwab and Joseph Wharton,My hat goes off to you both, you guys set out to forge your dreams and achieved the impossible. The building is no longer used to produce steel, but the impact that can still be felt in its presence produces precious insight. Not only into how the city of Bethlehem has become as great as it is today, but cities all across the nation. If we wouldnt of had Bethlehem steel theres a possibility that some of this countries most famous skyscrapers wouldnt be standing today. So I thank you two for that..lets all take a minute and reflect on the generations of hard working men and woman that contributed toward shaping our country into what it is today.. Then when you have the time come down and take a guided tour, or simply stroll through at your own pace.. No reservations required, and the guide trails and outdoor seating are handicap accessible.A special thanks also to St. Lukes university health network for their contribution to preserve this important historical structure..

I went at Christmas time and they had their regular steelwork exhibits as well as some Christmas exhibits. Small, but nice. Good bathrooms. They were also having a Christkindl market there.

The walkway so close to the stacks up was an amazing experience. I thought about all the people who worked in that inferno, their deaths, their injuries and how they were exploited by the owners who totally disregarded their miserable plight. Very educational and a good place to bring older children so that they have knowledge of how horrible it was once upon a time.

Very nice looking place, lots of literature on local attractions and limited interactive displays. My humble opinion seems to think they could knock it out of the park with more displays on the steel mills and put in lots more interactive type learning.Clean bathrooms, but the vending machine prices are absurd.

Fantastic industrial heritage tours. Such a globally important site for industrial history. Take the early morning tour led by a former steelworker. Its an incredible experience - learning from someone who lived the steel mill.

One hundred and thirty years of steel production that ended on the last decade of the twentieth century. Some tour guides had jobs there. Now the town of Bethlehem, prior home of many steel workers, is a tourist destination and worth visiting.

Amazing pile of steel. I drove by for a quick photo opportunity. Transformers was filmed here. I think this looks creepy and it is probably creepier at night. It will make a great horror movie.

This place is AWESOME! Love the history, the architecture and the clean bathrooms ;) This place would be great to shoot a video! great photo ops too. Looking for some great place to shoot a movie or a video or even to take pics for your photography class or to gain inspiration for art, THIS is the place. Its also nice to take a romantic walk on the platform at night when all the Stacks are lit, or just sit and look up at the massive structure and meditate laying in the soft squishy flooring down at the little park below the stacks. Fantastic place and its only a hop, skip and jump to the Sands Casino and Mall. I went to a concert here and let me tell you it was AWESOME! I went back the next day just to see the stacks! And tomorrow Im goin here to see the Solar Eclipse and have lunch with my hubby. Great place to go if you are looking to do some good FREE sight seeing!
