A nice swim beach, with play ground close by. Large open space for activities. Public bathrooms. My only complaint is that there isnt much shade.There is also a boat landing and ample parking space.

Nice spot to drop a kayak into Lake Bemidji. Nice facility with restrooms, parking and a well groomed beach with swimming area. I go before and after summer holidays so the crowds arent as thick.

Great spot for the kids to swim, play, & make new friends. Nice place to stop & just take in the view of the lake.

Lots of fun for the grandkids to swim. Not too deep. Big sandy beach for playing. They have a playground & flush toilets & shower for washing off sand, but theyre currently closed due to the COVID19 outbreak. The picnic grounds & covered pavilion are open. As is the boat landing.

We met up there for a Trump boat parade. It was awesome

Its a nice park all around... used to be able to park next to the water, but they redid the park and thats no longer possible.. so in my opinion that kinda sucks. But still a good park.

Has a well kept playground area and boat landing. Swimming beach, charcoal grills,pavilion and lots of picnic tables. Lots of trees and outside shower post to rinse off.

Theyre wasnt to many people their this afternoon so my puppy got to play.

My dogs and toddler had such a blast in the water and on the play ground !

Nice place to just pull an chill out for awhile maybe grab a bite to eat an take in the scenery.

Peacefull place....in the summet

July at the park is hot and Crowded during the day. The bathroom usually has toilet paper, but it is not always clean and they lock it up too early. Some people, like me, like to sit down by the water at night and watch the moon on the waves and listen to the loons. Unfortunately, this park is too often hit by young vandals who damage the picnic tables, also. There are many nice spots for grilling and picnics and groups. The boat launches are always busy, too. The city needs to add a bike rack and recycling bins and needs to ENFORCE that people MUST throw their cigarette butts in a bin and NOT all over the ground. The childrens playground area is covered in butts. The beach area is covered in butts.

Cameron park is a great place. Most times I go there, there have been people sleeping there, or a lot of rude people. A lot of people coming up asking for money...

One of the nicest public beaches on Lake Bemidji with a beach, playground, bathhouse, picnic area, and boat landing. The perfect place for an outdoor birthday, reunion, or play date.

Good park, fun for all ages. Not a lot of shade or places for watchful moms to sit. There are some fun trails and hidden gems in this park. The beach is nice, although I would be worried about swimmers itch later in the season. Theres usually a gaggle or two of ducklings and geese swimming around nearby.

Its a good park to go sledding at. The kids always have a great time. There is usually lots of people on nice days to the South from the parking lot there are more hills. Have fun see you out there.

I have been using the boat ramp at this park for several months. Its a good place to launch and has plenty of parking. The park itself looks very clean and well maintained with a small swimming beach that gets used a lot in the summer. There are nice picnic spots with grills. There is also a clean public restroom.

Its my favorite park no doubt. Its a comfy place to be and its not super busy and crowded like other parks. Its a nice place to go swimming and theres several nooks and crannies to chill in the trees by the water ive spent many summers there and you hopefully wont regret going there. Of courae the bathrooms arent the best and neither is the playground but the actual beach is my favorite cause thats the only reason i go there if you want a nice playground for your kids i suggest Paul bunyan or diamond. But if you want a silent and peaceful swim come here.
