Im glad they started maintaining this park again. I use to avoid it but around 2010 the state started stepping up their park care and this is now a fun place to go again. Im glad their cracking down on the homeless.

Large community park with plenty of grass fields for picnics. I use the park mostly for running on the trails in the woods. The small pond in the center is entertaining to watch ducks, frogs and turtles. There are several soccer fields and two large and well maintained off leash dog areas.

The park is good, but around the barked area along SE 22nd St there was some garbage (empty gatorade bottles & caps, papers / labels etc.).What I disliked more today (Aug 23) around 6-7:30pm is that there was a big crowd of soccer players and their friends / families / supporters -- altogether about 100 people, very close together, most without masks -- which should be avoided during this COVID times. Also, a bunch of kids were playing in the play area, which is generally off-limits nowadays.

A really good park to play around with your friends and has a kid play ground and dog park in the backside and also tennis courts, but not sure if open to public. And there is a pond where you could see some ducks. If you look closely enough, overall its a good park for the family and friends and there is good spots to take photos as well.

My son and I come to this park regularly for the last 3 years. Decent off-leash dog park, parking is limited but you can park further away in a different lot during busy times. The dog park itself is basically just a huge circular dirt pile with a walkway around it, but the dogs love it. Expect to return home with a muddy pup if its rained lately.Water is available for the dogs, but I dont think there is a public restroom for humans visitors.

Such a lovely park I would say! It has a soccer field, a baseball field, lush green area, a nice childrens play area, a running/jogging track around the soccer field, tennis courts, two dog parks and even a small pond with water fowl. There are restrooms and drinking water faucets even though restrooms could be difficult to find. At the entrance at 148th AVE they also have a honey bucket kept permanently.I like this park because of the vast lush green area it provides. The play area is very nice with a pirate boats, rotating poles, see-saw, hanging bars, etc. My kids love to play and hang around with their friends at the park. You can see the water fowl in the pond and they sometimes even come near you.The best thing I like about the park is it also has a beautiful trail surrounded by tall trees. It feels you are in a forest cut off from the world when you are in its midst. In winter if it snows decently, you can slide off the hilly slope using a sled. Lots of fun when it happens.Overall it is not a very crowded park but lively. Very well maintained. Very green.

Really nice place to take your dog also friends and family for special events or just to get away from it all. Were lots of people there waking their dogs and people playing volleyball and other outside activities. Was a sunny day. The place has nice walking trails. Lots of trees and pretty foliage. Well kept grounds. Plenty of free parking. Seemed like everyone I saw there were having a good time, even the many different breeds of dogs. Also has a playground area for children. Just an all around enjoyable place to go. Spent about 2 hours there but didnt seem like it. Time went by fast.

There are some nice trails in the woods here, but we mostly come here to take our Havanese to the smaller fenced in dog park section. The signage marks it for shy/timid dogs, and its almost exclusively used by people with small dogs that are either too scared or just too small to run with the big dogs in the larger area. People are pretty good about picking up after their dog, and Ive never seen any major issues aside from a few scuffles - bound to happen.

This place is the best, went here since I was a young child. Its probably more specifical to me because of nostalgia, but its still nice. The park has a duck pond and various nice places to sit and do whatever, its very pretty there in the spring or summer on a nice, sunny day. It also has two playgrounds for children up to 6-8 ish and one for older kids. There is also a nice, open, grassy field, a couple of spots fields, and a couple of dog parks.

I found a purse with a needle in it just 2 feet off the main trail in the forested part of this park and have encountered “campers” at night. The whole park is infested with a variety of invasive species, holly, ivy, blackberry, etc, and the city does absolutely nothing about it. Just let the whole forest die I guess

Love this place !!! It’s fully fenced with a well water spout for fresh water. Also features a paved roundabout path around the sand dog play area! Great for owners who want to get some walking excersise while there pup enjoys the free space. There are also a handful of tennis balls laying around in the sand for anyone to use. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it’s very messy. There and in my car when we are done. Cus the majority is covered in sand which is often wet so it’s very hard to get clean and not that easy to walk around in.

We like this park as there are a lot of pups our lab pup can play with. It is spacious enough for him to run around and tire himself out. However, there is a large area in the middle which is just dust/mud and he needs extensive cleaning after playing in this park for 15 min. The remainder of the park has mulch, which works better.
