Good place to relax quietly. Connects to Lewis Creek Park, so its also good for hiking.

Soggy today. A lot of people around. It feels like big foot is hanging n out somewhere .. except there is no such thing as big foot. I do know that big butt is a real thing and that crack kills mix the two together and you can count on someone or something dieing. So if youre a crack smoker or a big butted individual be sure to stay far away from the other. Because if you two mix it up the hole world is gonna croke.dont want that.

Small and private park...

Love this park for a semi private or private picnic. The area is separate from the main park so unless theyre is someone else there at the second shelter, you have the whole area to yourself. There is a large grassy area to relax and play games in. My kids love the large tree in the middle to climb and play with. And there are easy hiking trails right there too. Despite having no playground in the picnic area, my kids always find plenty to do.

Two modern styled picnic pavillions, open on most sides. Bathrooms are clean. Nice field for volleyball, etc. (Bring your own net and balls). Not many bugs around even at dusk on a July evening. Enough parking for a 50 person event.

This is such a wonderful place.
