What a lovely edifice in the center of the city! Went by here to feed the homeless on MLK day. Found that the church already sponsored a food a coat giveaway under the bridge. What would the world do without thoughtful, loving, conscientious groups like St. Vincent?!

Theres some wonderful spirited folks that work here and they go out of their way to help the homeless in every way possible. Friday evening they serve excellent meals for the outside and much respect for them for all the hard work they put into it. Thank you and God bless yall!

Been going here for 40 years. It is a Catholic parish were all, indeed, are welcome. Strong Social Justice commitment within a deep scripture and sacramental spirituality. Engaging liturgy and worship services with engaging people. A thoroughly Vatican II parish exploring more deeply the evolving theology and spirituality which Vatican II has spawned.

I was shocked that there wasnt a Crucifix of our Savior Jesus Christ over the alter. Instead there was a plain cross that looked like a piece of jewelry. Every Catholic church that Ive been to has Jesus for all to see. Not sure why there wasnt one at this church. Yet there is a banner that read Christ has risen. Why not have Jesus to be seen for all the people?

A progressive Catholic community steeped in service ministries and social justice. Actively engaging childrens programming. I church shopped for a long time before I found St. Vs, a fellowship where me and my family could grow.

Catholic parish that draws from well beyond its boundaries, with historic, Federal style sanctuary. Vigil mass Saturday night 7:15 is quiet and contemplative. Main mass is 9:30 on Sundays with full choir. 11:45 mass Sunday has music but is smaller, like 7:15. Very strong community. Lives the mission, with many active groups promoting social justice, care for the poor, environmental stewardship, respect for life, and other causes. AA and other groups meet in the Undercroft. Attached park is cared for by the Parish and is frequented by the Homeless, who are welcome. Overall committment to vision of Parish namesake, St Vincent de Paul: You are the servants of the poor. Definitely touched by the Holy Spirit.

St Vincent de Paul Church is a delightful Institution in downtown Baltimore that has a powerful mission of reaching out into the community and helping the less fortunate. The park alongside the church is a common Gathering destination for the citys homeless and the church itself reaches out to this population with food and clothing to help meet their needs. The staff of the church has always been welcoming and friendly to my community group which meets there on a regular basis. While it is a Catholic Church, it appears to Trend more on the liberal side as they are welcoming to lgbtq members of a community.
