Wow such an amazing place for walk and bring your dog with you. Food truck services are very nice with genuine prices. Great park and facilities, the team do an amazing job . I enjoyed a lot here.
This is a great community park. They have a public swimming pool during the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter. Lots of space to allow you to enjoy a hidden sanctuary away from city life while still in the city.
One of my favorite places to go for picnic. I love the green environment. Being able to go out in an open space like this and being able to breathe fresh air are such an awesome feeling especially now. The ducks in the lake are very therapeutic to watch. Its really a perfect place to relax. We also love to bring our dog to the park nearby, he loves it so much he can run free and play as much as he wants.
Such a nice park. Lots to do and people are social distancing which is nice to see. My uncle told me that back in 80s the park was awful . Littered with drugs and ladies of the night. Well it is sure nice to see that nowadays it is safe and welcoming.
Always love it here! Plenty space for individual settings and groups / events etc.... the pagoda & landscaping is lovely!Plus walking/biking paths, a pond...Stop at the taco spot then Bmore Licks for ice cream - or just coffee from the Perk.
I live close to the park and it really is a treasure of Baltimore. You can spend a few hours getting lost and hiking along the myriad trails within the park. The park has a wonderful boat lake (an antiquated term given that boats havent been on the lake in many years) that is a stopping ground for many migratory birds. Theres also a great dog park that separates dogs by size (large and small), many softball and activity fields and tennis courts. The grown jewel of the park is a Japanese-style observatory pagoda that was built in the 1800s. It really is a wonderful community park.
Pattersons park is a gem of Baltimore city. An urban park that is spacious providing the room needed to gather with friends and just be outside. This particular trip was just for a walk with a friend and it was perfect. I know we will be back soon.
Love Patterson in the Morning Late afternoon to early evening can be crowded and overstimulatimg for a lot of dogs. IMO The Early Morning Crew (7am - 8:30am) is the best time to meet a truly dedicated group of pet Parents (and well behaved puppers) who are super knowledgeable and engaged while their pets are in the park. Shout out to the Late Morning Crew (9am -11:30am) who are just as dedicated, if not as consistently at the Park (weve all got schedules to keep) and always open to share tips, tricks and offer super helpful recommendations and insights. Ive learned sooo much from them as a new dog owner and my doggo has learned to socialize properly with other dogs and their hoomans Downside: Smells kinda funky when it rains
Just a few blocks from our place ....Patterson Park is a tourist place where u can see the Iconic Painted Ladies ... a good view if the city tooThe other side of the park is a dog Heaven where I could unleash my buddy and run free and play with other dogs...(just make sure you have a poop bag too ) as a responsible dog owner or a Dog walker
Great place for a walk or picnic, dog park, football, baseball, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball, pond with ducks. A real gem in the city.
I live not to far from this park and bring my dog almost everyday to the dog park section which is a good size for the city. The park itself is big enough to get a good healthy walk. Its like Baltimores little central park. My only little problem is that the trash cans are not getting emptied enough in the summertime.
What a great oasis in the city. Such rich history. I hope that the city and the residents respect this lovely place by keeping it maintained.
An amazing place for a walk, hike and to play most sports. The majority of people are wearing masks and if not are keeping their distance. The long and at times curving paths lead to gorgeous scenery. Highly reccomend.
Patterson Park is a beautiful park right in the middle of Baltimore with a beautiful pogada and an awesome lake with many trails to explore
I love the dog park here. It big and most people are friendly with behaved dogs. Only had a few issues with dogs.
Good people watching here. Lots of activity happening all around. This is one of the few places I feel comfortable visiting and hanging out during the pandemic.
Great place for hanging out walking/running or other recreational activities. The venue hosts kickball league and also has a dog park.
Nice. I like taken my wife and son.Going to the to see ducks and giving them food and spend time with family. Its something great too your kids to enjoy.People need to respect the park and people in it.God bless and please be safe and stop the crime and the language you say around children into the Park.God bless.
Great park with lots of walk paths, tennis courts, beautiful pond visited by ducks, playgrounds, baseball fields and basketball courts, not to mention the pagoda at the top of the hill that leads down to where live music is played throughout the spring and summer. You can spend hours here and still find new things.
Beautiful Park to run,dog park, feeding ducks, awesome clean friendly environment to just walk&clear your mind,or trying to loose a few lbs.jogging or walking.
Large park with tons of space for picnicking, letting your dog run (sometimes of leash if you find a large enough spot, or in the dog park). Theres food trucks nearby and lots of great food and ice cream nearby. Great family, date, run, spot.
Great park, well maintained. Lots of space to social distance. Very green. Dog loved chasing the squirrels.
Just love this park, it us a great place to get your exercise, you can also enjoy any of the 2 playgrounds it offers for some fun in the sun( your kiddos of course). There is an ice skating ring open in the winter time. You can enjoy a pretty good sized pond in the summer time there are ducks and many different birds to watch.
Huge awesome park. Rolling hills are great for dog walking, which I saw plenty of people doing. Mature trees and open grassy spaces alike. Lovely fountain and sweet pagoda that was free to climb up in. Would have liked some public flush toilets rather than port-o-johns. But still. Gorgeous views of the city.
Lots of people come out in the evening to enjoy the park. Its such a welcoming space.
I grew up around here, its a fun place place for all great view and scenery
This is a great place to jog, bike, and walk around. Everyone comes here: young people, old people, entire families, etc. Its an oasis of greenery amidst a sketchy city. They also sometimes have movie night!
It the perfect place for a picnic. My kids absolutely love the playgrounds. Its safe
Beautiful park. Lots of things to do in a good location in Baltimore
My ultimate favorite park in Riverside. Only for the ducks as well as the tank on screen. They have a wondrous playground for children of all ages and parents gather here to talk and revel in the gorgeous day. It always filled with ppl and bliss. This is a superb spot to take your loved ones.
Incredible beautiful place! You can to there with whole your family and everyone will find something interesting for himself. You can spend there long hours, walking through aleys. And the best one... its totally free of charge! On the place you will find also very nice restaurant with quite tasty food. There is also playground for small children. Go there with your family for fantastic day!
My husband took me for a picnic lunch. It was beautiful. Very clean and safe. We had an amazing day!
Beautiful park with a lot of history. Visit the Pagoda, walk around the duck pond, bike the trails, or find some secluded trees on which hang your hammock.
Enjoyed walking through the park. So relaxing. So much to see... ducks, geese, water lily covered pond, easy surface paths, pavilions, play area, boardwalk, etc.
Nice place but the trash is too much and the homeless can be overwhelming. Also not safe at night.
Pretty nice park. A lot of open space an amenities.
Nice relaxing. People obeying leash laws.
An AMAZING park! There is so much space to exercise or ride bikes. It is a wonderful place of nature in the city
Very big enough room for everyone take nice long walk with your spouse, pet, or you kids.
Beautiful place. Loved the crowd
Beautiful park sunny day helped.
Has many features...kids play area, dog park, pool, pond and tennis courts.
Great out door experience something for almost everyone
Very pretty park. First time there will definitely go back
We went to The Playgrounds at Patterson Park. This is a spacious castle-themed playground. There is also a smaller playground area. Lots of green space surrounds the playground with some scattered benches. There are walking paths right next to the playground and a large pond.
As a local neighbor, Patterson Park is one of my favorite features of our lovely city/area!The sprawling park allows for the entire neighborhood to enjoy its beauty. Walking paths, ponds, the Pagoda, tennis courts, basketball courts, football & soccer & football fields, dog parks, monuments, a stage, and even an indoor bubble arena! If youre in the area, come on by and wander though our Park!
Great place to bike in. An asset to Baltimore.
Our beautiful park is in full bloom! Timing is perfect as we strive to balance social distancing with support of our community and our neighbors. There is no better place to do both than Patterson Park. Thanks to all who strive to care for this urban open space - especially valuable now!
This is a great park providing a pleasant & convenient spot for recreation & relaxation in the southeastern area of Baltimore.
Great, large park to walk around, picnic, go sledding, walk dogs, do things you would do in a park
PEACEFUL AND SERENE, VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY AND PERFECT TO JUST BREATHE
Very nice to walk or bike. Great pond for some wildlife watching
Beautiful field, people walking at night time with their dogs while others like us were just enjoying the serenity of this place and chatting all through...
Patterson park is a very large vicinity great for times such as COVID-19. You never have to be in close proximity to anyone! It is a great place to take your pets also. It has a seperate dog park located on Linwood Ave. There is a little bit of everything at Patterson Park. My husband plays basketball, our son swings on the swings and plays on the playground. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy fresh air!!
Family friendly, clean, safe, has a dog park, has basketball/tennis/baseball/volley ball courts, and located in a nice, safe area
The Kite Festival was great! Well definitely be there again next year
Okay spot, to much concrete stinks like dog pee. i appreciated the gated sections
Lots of old trees, great for running and walking your dog. A park that has souls and can be found quite peaceful for afternoon walks. I did see the need for maintenance and cleanliness in certain area of the park.
Beautiful place for a peaceful stroll and some nice photography
Nice pond for kids to see fish.
I go here to think, calm my nerves, I love the Pagoda, great park, beautiful
Great space, great weather, great time!
Nice, friendly environment. Needs to be treated for insects though.
Beautiful as always.
Patterson Park is amazing. Its something Baltimore can be proud of.
Been awhile since i have been but its about what i remembered it to be. Castle playground in working condition but the toddler area needs some fixing up and oiling of moving parts but still usable.. i saw ducks waddling around inside gated playground. But not near the pond . That pond looks mucky and need a good dredging and purification. bonus was the ice cream shop across the street.
Great park. A beautiful Pagoda, which you can escalate free of charge (but you have the option to donate to help them maintain it), with an interesting history. Lots of squirrels, ducks and birds. There are events at almost every weekend. Good for strolling or running.
Nice park with good spaces to sit down and hangout
Great place... never been until today. Love it
Beautiful park with lots to see and do.
What a fun and huge park!!! Great to bike, take the the dogs and have fun gatherings...
Very pleasant urban park. Hope to return when have more time.
Always a great place to walk. Nice place.fpr families. One of the biggest city parks in the country!
I visit this park everyday of the week. I just love it. Please bring back the basketball hoop
So beautiful just walk and let the kids enjoy their self......
Pleasant increase in the number of walkers and others over the last three years. Great topography for runs, especially for hills training. Social leagues play here and frequent the local bars afterward. Photogenic in the spring. The main downside is poor lighting at night. Most light posts within the park do not work. The perimeter is well lighted.
Its a lovely park
Great Place to Walk and Relax with Family
Had a great morning with my wife, we voth had lime scooters and just enjoyed the park.
Its a beautiful park. I take my preschool class there every single day. I like to think of Patterson Park as the Central Park of Baltimore. The only downside to the park is trifling dog owners who dont pick up after their pets.
They have a pool, a dog park, soccer fields, free Zumba on Tuesdays and Saturdays. ️ Lots of free things and events for kids. Love this Park!
One of Baltimores many beautiful public parks, the rolling hills and broad meadows of Patterson Park offer more than 5 miles of tree-lined, paved trails for walking, cycling, and jogging. During the sometimes steamy Baltimore summer, you might find the large public swimming pool busy with people from all walks of life--or rehearsal for performance troupe Fluid Movements annual water ballet. Local little league teams might be practicing on a nearby permanent diamond. And while some visitors bring hammocks to swing in the cool shade of the trees, others are in nearby fields tossing a baseball or football around, while another field provides the perfect space for an impromptu volleyball court. Strolling through the park, you might spot a young couple snuggling while they enjoy a picnic brought from home, a medical student on a bench studying a textbook, or several half-dressed young people sunning out on the lawns. In the northwest corner of the park, there is is a lovely, decorative pagoda at the top of a hill which becomes the perfect launch pad for kites during the windy spring, the starting point for Creative Alliances annual Halloween Lantern Parade, and the perfect slope for sledding in the winter. The Parks proximity to the Spanish-speaking communities in the Highlandtown neighborhood also makes it the perfect location for Baltimores annual Latinx Festival, celebrating the food, music, art and culture of diverse immigrant communities that help make Baltimore a culturally rich place to live. And along Eastern Avenue on the parks south border are small shops, restaurants, and cafés (as well as the occasional cart vendor) to keep visitors refreshed year-round. If you seek recreation, relaxation, people watching, or just a verdant escape from city streets, you will find what you seek in Patterson Park.
I took my babies to the dog park so they can wear themselves out I have a beautiful lilmama Pomeranian that is 18 years old and I have a beautiful Pretty Yorkie thats one years old the park was clean the people was so so but all in all my babies had a great time
A Great Park to take your dog for a walk a bike ride a walk. To jog or just a set on a blanket and relax and bring your lunch. Etc
It is a strange concept to rate a park... for what makes a park great? It has grass and trees, a pond and fields... it comes with benches, a playground, and even historical structures... it even has an area for swimming and team sports...I’d say it’s a lovely park. Though for the sake of taking my dog to a place where she can roam free, it’s not the best place to go for it’s saturated with other beings - human and pet alike... HOWEVER, it does depend when you go - for example this posted video was on a cold cold day. Further more, on the plus side we’ve never gotten any ticks from there. So... Ay!Enjoy.
Always a comfortable, family-friendly park! Best in Baltimore! Wonderful things to see from historic canons, pagodas, pavilions, a lily pond, some wildlife. Occasional small concerts and other events. Perfect for folks that want to get put and be active. Personally my favorite place to play Pokémon Go!
Still a gem in Baltimore with tonnes of running routes, nice or challenging hills depending on the route.Plenty of walking and routes to explore.
Great place to relax. But I wish people would just pick up their dog poop
Pretty cool park. Has a nice fenced in dog park.
Haven a good relaxingEvening at the park
Nice park to be and family
Love walking the park.
Lots of things to do here. My wife and I often use the tennis courts, or find a nice tree to picnic under.
This park has it all! I was so surprised I lived in Bmore so long and never found this gem. Pool, ponds with so many ducks and walkways, large beautiful grassy areas with room to lay down, play and have a picnic! Sports areas (basketball, football, soccer, & tennis) plenty of jogging space for runners and dog walkers. And I cant forget the dog park! Awesome dog and playground with slides for little kids. I go almost every weekend now.
I spend alot of time there. Its gets a bad beat. Patterson park is a beautiful getaway in the heart of the city.
