We saw the Darin Atwaters Soulful Symphony, which is a musical masterpiece of gospel music and a classical symphony combined. Simply amazing!

Good seating arrangement and acoustics

Came here with a friend to a show..we had a great time listening to the oldie but goodies. Will definitely come back again if the opportunity presents itself again..

My sons honors choir performed there with a large group of amazingly talented high school students. It was breathtaking.

Awesome experience love the cleanliness of the internal infrastructure and the bathrooms and the MSU staff are totally cool. My masonic/eastern star 3rd annual Thurgood Marshall Historical program flowed well and high ranking Masons, judges, lawyers received honors..

Came to see a concert and had a lovely time. I wish the seats were a bit more comfortable but thats my only complaint.

Very nice venue for a show. Maysa performed last evening and she was fantastic. I have always been a fan, however this is my first time seeing her live and I will be following her going forward. She said she had a cold last evening but she did a damn good job. I loved the show. Can not wait to see her again.

The Carl Murphy Fine Arts Center is the cultural soul of Morgan State University, and tonight, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performed under the baton of a most talented young conductor, Jonathan Rush. The concert hall portion of the CMFAC is a most comfortable hall, likely no more than 15 or so years ago. Accustically, the 2,000-or-so seat room came alive with the music of Beethoven, Joseph Bologne who was humorously referred to by Maestro Rush as either the black Mozart or perhaps Mosart may have been the white Joseph Bolonge! In any case, Mr. Bolonges offering featured violin soloist, Kelly Hall-Tompkins. The orchestra and its enthusiastic conductor spun a web of happy melodies for a receptive audience. The BSO should do this appearance every year. Partnering with the University, this would be a major community tradition...

Wonderful venue for events. A lot of great activities take place there. The staff was very nice. The atmosphere were enjoyable and very comfortable seating. Highly Recommend!!!

Great place to experience fine arts. Seating is comfortable and everyone I met that was associated with MSU in any way was very helpful and friendly.

The Gilliam Concert hall is one of the performance spaces at the Murphy Fine Arts Center.Comfortable seating lets you enjoy your program while having a view of the stage. The acoustics in the hall send sound directly to you, making the big hall seem more intimate. Great facility all around.

A fantastic venue for the Baltimore County All Honors high school performances.

The building was spacious to accommodate all the visitors and the seats were cusioned & comfortable, but the staff was ride as HELL! THEY DID NOT MAKE FIRST FEEL WELCOMED. Staff made us feel more like a bother than guess. For this reason if anyone else uses Morgan to graduate from I will not attend. But else would I expect dealing with a bunch of people at Morgan? Unprofessionalism at its best

Absolutely world class acoustics and venue. The students and staff at Morgan state are among the most exemplary I have ever encountered in working at several colleges. They are a gem for the Baltimore region and I am always thrilled to work there. Hats off to a fantastic institution...

World class theater and entertainment space. Most recently went to see the Morgan State University marching bang perform and they blew the roof off the place. I have been to several other great events held in this facility.

Cool place...But if its a black event...might wanna wear clothes that arent thick. Can get hot up there.

Great location, plenty of parking close to center-read sign carefully, bathrooms close and great staff/ushers.

Plenty of parking, nice sound system, clean restrooms, clean, modern facility. Spacious.

Morgan State University The MAGNIFICENT MARCHING in MSU MARCHING BAND SHOW. The show was EXCELLENT. A must see show for those LOVE Band Music. The show is every year on the first in Saturday in December.

Wonderful performance by the Harlem Dance Theatre

The jazz show was great, relaxing and calm. I love it.

This place hosts some awesome events and shows.

Terrible parking.Took an hour and half to get out of parking lot. Parking attendants could have helped to move the traffic. Paying $100 for an event with no traffic control attendants is unacceptable.

I had a very moving experience here, viewing the laying in State of Rep. Elijah Cummings.Everyone I approached for help and those officiating inside the Center couldnt have been more helpful and courteous.

Very beautiful venue, and houses an awesome museum. However, they really should be mindful when scheduling events-there was a very loud voting rally happening at the same time as a play (in separate auditoriums).

The 42nd Annual Dorothy P. Stanley Scholarship Fund Dance Festival 2018 Concert Series presented a fantastic show! There were 23 performances and the artists danced their hearts out! From Straight to the Pointe there were 3 performances that had the audience Cheering and Praising! The Morgan State University Modern Dance Ensembles Cityscape - Bmore Live was beyond Great! Even though the weather was horrible it didnt dampen the spirit of the audience or the dancers! Thank You Morgan State for a Wonderful Time!!!

I purchased ten front row tickets for my family and I to see the University Choirs annual Christmas concert. The concert was awesome!I was very disappointed that the bathrooms were beyond disgusting.
