The toys here are awesome, but there was a small village of homeless camped out at the tables right next to the playground, and several more living in their cars in the parking lot. Did not feel safe at all.

Its always clean and my kids love the water spray park . There is something broke on one of the spray things but it doesnt seem to bother any of the kids lol

First there are alot of homeless people. They mainly stay to themselves but sometimes they yell out of no where, which can be kinda scary if you are by yourself. Its normally clean but you know how people are and how they never pick up after themself. A great place to play tackle football or basketball cause they have courts, you could even play a small game of soccer.

Although this park offers many amenities and has benches and shade, also an outdoor hockey/ soccer arena, basketball courts, spray park, and also a place to play horse shoes, and of course play structures, I give it only 3 stars because usually the benches are taken over by homeless as well as the spray park area when its open. And all their trash, bedding, and blankets everywhere. Also the spray park had no instructions on how to use at all, if it hadnt have been for someone walking by that knew what to do I would have been clueless as to how to get it started. Also hours are not posted either. From what I was told its on from 2-5pm. And to turn it on you have to bang on one of the poles like a

This park was run down probably due to covid and being closed off but there was trash everywhere and homeless camps there in the back. Some of the playground amenities looked to be missing pieces. The grass is still green though.

The park has several homeless encampments, but they generally dont bother people. God bless them.

Great place to have friends and family outings

My kids enjoy the 2 play areas. One for toddlers and preschoolers and one for elementary age kids. It has a water sprinkler park during the hot months, and has a skate rink that can be rented for sports or parties. It also has a Skate Park for those who enjoy doing tricks on their skateboards, and/or bikes. It has two decent size parking lots and a large grassy area for playing soccer or picnicking. It also is right next to a fire station and close to many fast food restaurants.

Nice clean place

It is a good place for kids and to cool off. But they need to keep the druggies away from areas with children. Because they dont care they will do their drugs in the bathrooms with your kids in there. So, its best to watch the bathroom and go with your children to the bathroom.

Park is unkept bathroom are not even usable they are so dirty.my kids found a dead rat in the sand.

As we are sitting here in our car passing time a car comes straight up and people started smoking leaving the whole area smelling like weed... Not trying to be rude but its a little ghetto here.

Nice quiet park during the day to kick back and relax or catch up on things. The park has a public restroom a basic playground and lots of nice green grass that looks well maintained. They also have a basketball court that is used every time I see it. They also have a recreational area that the city rents out for $61 an hour in some cases. This area was fenced and locked. It could be used in many different ways.

Big play structure but I was worried the whole time that there might be needles in the sand. There was cigarette butts everywhere. The bathroom was horrible. I think a homeless person made it there home. Lots of homeless in the grass too.Prob about 15.

Nice park. Has fun playground for toddlers and older kids. Basketball court, and plenty of open field. Has lota of tables that can be reserved, as well as a serving area. Water park hours are 1 to 6 i believe. Only downside is lots of homeless hang our here. Normally I wouldnt mind as much, however at my sisters baby shower a group were hanging out at the other set of tables smoking crack out in the open. No shame. Bpd showed up and they scattered, but returned shortly after, and police had to come again. I love the park though.

I like Sanders Park the homeless people dont bother me if you have something against homeless people thats pretty messed up cuz I go there and feed them and they dont bother me at all sauders is one of the safest places Ive been to all in all its just a good Park the homeless people dont bother anybody at all they have their own little group and they stick with her group

Nice little spray park. There needs to be a sign indicating the sprayers are solar powered and the post needs activated by touching it when the water stops spraying.

Sunrise Park is okay it has a some nice things for the kids to play on and has like a lot of space it has a nice clean facilities and I still have BBQ areas only thing is that there is like a lot of Riff Raff there is sort of they dont bother nobody but theyre still present and but its a good Park overall good location right next to a lot of cool fun things so nice park

Nice during the day

The park is a lot nicer then from when I was a little kid. I wish I could play in the water area!!

On our drive from Portland to Vegas we stopped at this park to let our 3 year old run around and stretch her legs. The play structures were nice and there was lots of green space but there were homeless people living in the bathrooms. I chose to use the bathroom at the Arco down the street. Overall the park was nice but a little sketchy.

The park was a little sketchy. I took my family there when we had time to kill before checking into a hotel, and there were more people just sitting in their cars in the parking lot then there were kids playing in the park. Somebody was sleeping in the womens bathroom and there wasnt much shade to be had. The structures were nice though.

I like this park but it just so happened that today the womans bathroom was the worst mess ive ever seen any bathroom. It made me sick and i never want to go there again...

I grew up going to this park back when it had a pool. Its a small neighborhood park with a lot of trees. Its long and narrow probably could use some updating. I havent utilized the sports park ever so I cannot comment on that.

Some people are friendly my son and husband played a basketball game with another father and son. We didnt know them but it was fun.

People live in the bathrooms but ither then that Its good

A great play area but A lot of drug addicts hang around here and homeless community so not the best park to have the kids play unattended for older kids during the summer they do have a water park open to the public from I believe 12pm to 630pm

Too many homeless drug addicts living there, plus its right where gang violence happens, and just the other day someone reported there child (little girl) was kidnapped from the playground. Cops always around, not a peaceful place!

It was awful went there and needless to say we rented the space and no one told us that the water wasnt going to be on for the children we rented it for a birthday party and they said assign on the water park stating closed for repairs you would think they would repair it before the water park was to open or tell you when youre going to rent the space for a kids birthday party
