Beautiful park, Very Clean. Nice play area for the kids. Great picnic spot. If traveling you can stop and watch the squirrels frolic in the trees while taking a break from the road. Picnic tables are available. There is a creek that separates the park from a library. Grab a book and lay in the green grass to read.
The new, inclusive playground from the Portland Trailblazers Assist contest is a hit. Some highlights:* child-friendly zipline* sharable swings for parent and child* wheelchair-accessible ground-level merry-go-round* wheelchair-accessible gentle ramp to a rocking boat* permanent musical instruments* instructional signage for communicating with nonverbal people* seesaw built for 4* roller tunnel with handholds* gentle, winding half-pipe for climbing & exploringWell done!
Teenagers are usually hogging up the play equipment staring at their phones and or cussing.. hopefully when the new wears off the equipment thatll change. . Beautiful park tho..I wish they wouldnt have taken all the old equipment away.. no more big kid(me) swings
Currently part of the park is under construction. Half of the playground was open. My kids loved the new equipment. My sons are 8 and 10.
Nice park. Theres an area for kids to play and a band shell type thing. I would like to see some benches, though, as opposed to just picnic tables.
Great place for the kids to unwind. They are currently going through some construction and additions but at least half the park was open when we visited. We stopped here on a long road trip to let the kids get some energy out and they really loved this park
The park was utterly awesome. The play equipment is extremely well taken care of and the hilariously portly squirrels are quite friendly.
Nice big trees. Cool green grass. Pretty quiet
Nice shady park. Lots of squirrels everywhere. Nice play area for the kids.
Nice quiet park. Lots of shade trees, places for kids to play and tables for a picnic!! Very nice!!
Good place for kids awesome playground, clean, library close by.
Went to watch band play at pavilion.. sounded great.. good local n a different band every time..
Great old fashioned playground equipment, plus a few newer play structures.
Huge space! fishing, rc track trails and cliffs it was awesome
The whole family loved this park! Lots of structures to play on for all ages, from classic metal slides to climbing tunnels and a cute wagon styled structure. My toddler loved it so much when we passed through town the first time we made sure to stop on our way back. This is a perfect road trip stop and an awesome place to play.
Lots of tree coverage new playground andpaved pathes to stroll but there bumpy and wake a sleeping baby easily
Lovely little park with some great play structures for the kids. My son found some other kids to make friends with right away and find all the scavenger hunt images hidden on the playstructure.
My boy loved this place. Lots of fun stuff to do here
Very nice with alot of local history
A very pleasant park. Good shade, great playground, and awesome gazebo.
Scenary is nice just people are so rude and dont respect the land as much as they should
Excellent location for music and other community events, historic markers, great for solo travelers and families, gorgeous foliage and trees, bordered by the Powder river and bike trail.
Nice park. Had some music.
Great place to rest, for kids to play and beautiful place to get your pictures.
Fun for kids of all ages.
All new equipment for all! Very nice!

This is a gem of a park. Have a picnic, let the kids expend some energy on the playground and the squirrels are always looking for a hand out
Ive loved thisis park for more than 50 yrs! Now Im playing with my great nieces and nephews there!
Beautiful place stayed only for happy hour, drinks were great.

I enjoy this park wish they still had that 1 swing that u sat in for my kids but other then that beautiful can see river!
Good place for the kids, cant wait to see what the newest add on will be after the construction
This park has great equipment for kids, including ages 3-10.
Its a fun place to hangout with friends or little siblings! you can sit down in the shade or run around with your dog.
Great park with equipment for the littles and bigger kids. Covered by tons of trees. Picnic tables readily available. Beautiful river runs up the side of it. Library right next door.
Removed the big swings, and other enjoyable equipment
This is a beautifully maintained park with a large and interest-filled play structure and swings. The day we were there love music was playing in the gazebo. The library is right next to the park and is very well organized and nicely laid out and pleasant. The wifi from the library extends to the park. We loved stopping here on our way through.
I love this park. So many memories. Carnivals car shows. However kids now days are rude and vandalism is up. To many druggy people to allow your kids to have a good time just sad
Great family park! A small river runs next to it and across that river is the Baler Library! Go in, check out a book and relax in the park while your kids play! No kids? Relax anyway!
Overall a very clean Park and recreational area. there are a few standing barbecues and many picnic tables that you can use if you wanted to have a get together. In addition there is a kazeebo and a very large event area.My only issue is some of the park could use some maintenance or perhaps some new equipment.
Great park, at one end is the public library and the other the museum, and this park has everything from a playground for the kids to horseshoes for the bigger kids! Clean and bathrooms too! Great time
Lovely park in the middle of town.
Great place for lunch.
So much fun I wanna run in circles...
I love the park......I have a memory of sitting with my now 15 year old as a baby on an old bench there and it was my best pic ever taken.....my ex took it so its gone n the park is all my memory has so I value it....I dont appreciate teens and adults doing dumb things there n I will run em off but it should have an age limit or family count to enter or those ones will ruin the beautiful park. Make teens n ulyoung adults some where else to go to so this park can be kept and remembered just the beautiful way it was and is still holding onto. This is my son now n this was me and this final picture was me and my son on his 1st birthday 3 months before that picture was taken at this very park. That park is dear to me and the upgrades are beautiful just need to keep bad ones out n stop ruining the bathroom toiletries
Very nice park with lots of shade for that hot Sunny day. The grass was nice and green. I highly recommend this park.
A beautiful park in a beautiful town. Great for play dates with the family, picnics, walks, or a relaxing shady place to take a break on a hot summers afternoon.
Beautifully manicured park with picnic facilities.
Beautiful remodel!
Great park for kids! Parked our trailer here for dinner while passing through. Kids played on the well maintained and fairly sizable playground for a few hours. Nice clean facilities and well cared for grass.Highly recommend as a shady stop in Baker city for kids to run off energy.
Had fun with the kids looking at the old train the old steam roller the tank the airplane and other sayings enjoy the Rose Garden the most they were beautiful
Nice cool location!
Looks like a nice park. We were traveling and stayed in town for the night. Found a car show in the park.
Great park. We recently stopped here for lunch on our way passing through town. Lots of large, mature shade trees and plenty of well maintained picnic tables and facilities. The playground area is also great, with lots of variety. They even had a good selection of metal retro equipment; you know, those hot metal slides you could always count on to brand the back of your legs on a hot summer day. Very nostalgic. The only downsides were that the bathrooms were pretty rough... I hold low standards for public toilets, especially at parks, but these were definitely on the nasty side. That, and there were a handful of homeless looking people that were intimidating my wife a bit; many of them smoking the devils lettuce (which is fine and all, but in a park surrounded by kids???).Even with the downsides, though, wed definitely stop by again. It was a nice little park and seemed to be well used by the community and travelers like us who were just stopping by.
Its a great park for kids, picnics, get togethers. Plenty of tables, and play grounds. And very nice shady park.
Nice park on the powder river downtown.
Very nice place to take children. Safe place to play. Worth the trip.
Great scavenger hunt for my son. Playground has one dangerous place for toddlers where they could fall... otherwise perfect
Its such a big, fun Park. We love stopping on our long drive to familys house. There is also a library closer which is nice.
Great shade!
Beautiful park. Well taken care of. Music on Sunday evening
This is a beautifully maintained park. With places for gathering, places for kids to play, and places to sit alone.
Lovely shade and bandstand. The river by the library were added delights.
Lots of shady trees and nice playground for the youngsters with more coming for the less capable youngsters.
Very nice park in the heart of downtown Baker City. Large amphitheater and covered gazebo. Lots of play equipment for the kids in a beautiful tree filled setting. Parking is easy all around the parameter. Picnic benches or bring a blanket to sit on the grass.
This park is a beautifully landscaped, very well maintained park with a large childrens play area, a covered stage, picnic areas, and dog friendly.

Such an Amazing place to take your family
Invitingly shadey on hot summer days. Roomy, spacious tree covered park that was hosting Miners Jubilee. Loads of interesting local vendors and a beautiful stage for entertainment. Bakers Museum is at one corner, and their Library is adjacent, along the little Powder River. Easy to find and also home to the Farmers Market.
A beautiful park with a long history here in Baker City. Upgraded playground, lots of older trees for shade, and plenty of areas to sit back and relax. It is upkept meticulously and one of the nicest parks Ive visited. Great place year around.

Very nice, well kept, busy park with lots of room for kids to run but plenty of space to just sit and enjoy. Good playground equipment for all ages. Its a very popular park so kids almost always have others to interact with.
Nice place..
Amazing park!! We were driving through and my kids enjoyed this spacious park immensely. It is next to the public library (clean restrooms!) and the play structure is expansive and fun!
I grew up playing in this park and I love what theyve done to update it in recent years
Beautiful picnic area. We were there during a Tuesday afternoon and there were people everywhere enjoying the day. Playground was across the park, so we were able to enjoy our lunch, while watching the children play.
Peaceful Place to have a Picnic and let your kids just have fun!!
Great little park for the kids
Well maintained, looking forward to updates from the contest we won for all abilities playground equipment
Love this park. Very nice for kids, connected to the library. They plan a lot of community activities here.
