Love this place when Im driving from a long day at work it really helps me to relax and get a calm would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to take a nice long drive

Perfect Beach for the kids. Not to rough waves. Lifeguards are very aware and with covid staffs are all wearing mask and fallow all the rules. Staff security to make sure people are walking with mask at the food and drinks sections also in the bathroom. Always a clean Beach staff are always walking around picking up peoples garbage. Overall good experience.

Overlook beach is one of the jewels of living in the Town of Babylon NY. A big, beautiful beach with fun waves thats nice for walking on and exploring. The water is usually a bit warmer because its somewhat protected. The best part is the end of the summer bash where there are games, bands and fireworks

Heaven on Earth. If you like the sun. I hate the sun but I can appreciate this place. Also the food at the shack is awesome.

Very clean beach, best playground with a view of any beach, easily accessible, my 7 years old favorite place to go. We have gone at least 75 time a year for 5 years. They really only charge to go in May, June, July and August and half of those day they wont have anyone at the 1 entrance booth they have. I bought the yearly pass once. We usually only go during the week. Only negative is bathroom is closed alot more than its open. Go before you arrive and when the showers are on they are better than Robert Moses and Jones beach and if you run into a tourist it would be the first I have heard of.

Lots to do

Great beach for families with young kids. Large playground, smooth, clean sand and usually calmer surf than other beaches like Gilgo. For adults, they have live music most weekends and adult beverages. Food offerings also relatively good for all.

One of my favorite places to go every summer! Its generally not crowded, has a short walk to the water and a nice little bar and snack shack. The showers are nice too and they even added palm trees!

Its a beautiful beach. Clean and very enjoyable.

Great little beach for families. Not crowded, not too much walking. Theres a tropical looking snack bar that I didnt sample but would have if we had been there longer, looked like a wide variety of selections. There were a number of changing rooms outdoors, so it would be easy to monitor your children whether male or female. Very, very clean, no smoking, just really nice for families.

A beach with fine sand all the amenities you need. Plenty of parking. Long lenghts of beach mats to walk comfortably to your spot. Waves are usually small which is good for small children. Good crowd. Has a beach bar at the pavilion with bathrooms and showers.

This beach requires permit, permit is only available to residents of Babylon and some surrounding towns, easy access, you dont need to cross the second bridge if you are coming from Robert Moses parkway, buts its facing the ocean, there are picnic tables, clean restrooms, showers, decent food and playground area, protected by life guards, no smoking in beach

Overlook is a town of Babylon beach. It is always my choice of beach. Family and friends. Large beach and kept very clean and updated.
