What a beach!! With beautiful restaurant bar that reminds me of some beaches in south east Asia, a wide white sand beach with plenty of space so you dont feel crowded even on a busy day, a place where there are usually waves once to reach the shore from the long beautiful stretch of soft sand. Just another little paradise on the south shore of Long Island.

I loved it. Volleyball, playground. The food at the fish shack was great and live music!

Our favorite beach. You have everything you need. Clean beach, great choice of food, full bar and live music. You can even dance ( maybe not now due to covid 19 ). Also, the security guys by the bar area are very attentive to their surrounding which is a plus.

Went down to enjoy nice breeze with lifelong friends while staying semi socially distanced. We brought chairs and drinks. Did not go into SALT. We setup away from swings behind band stage on sand area and we listened to live music while chatting it up without having to yell at all. The wind was more of a hinder, but that kept the bugs away. Enjoyed a fantastic sunset and the best part, if you go after 5pm, theres no fee to park. This is a great way to get out and enjoy time out for very minimal money. It is easy to social distance here, and when you go up to bathroom wear a mask and sneakers or flip flops. 4 stars cause the bathrooms not always good. They are used by a lot of people. Easy to see right off of Ocean Parkway servicing Babylon and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Restaurants and Bar. Staff is nice. Give it a try and you decide.

Great beach to go to. Always clean. Has volleyball courts, small golf course. Has the Salt Shack too if you would like a drink and live music at night.

Babylon park commissioner was very nasty to us. We were unaware Volleyball was not supposed to be played during Covid. She approached us without informing us who she was starting yelling and threatened to call the police. Meanwhile at the salt shack and around it groups of 20 + sitting less then 2 away from one another were drinking and eating. But sure thats exceptable bc it makes them $$$$$.

Great marina with usual locals always docked there. Someone is always willing to give a hand to help you dock up. Good docking with water and electric and a nice sandy section for everyone to spread out. An easy walk to Salt Shack (for great food and drinks) and a long walk to the beach. Bill the harbormaster is friendly and love seeing him every time we arrive.

The sand was too far away from the beach

One of my favorite beaches. Its a long walk to the shore but theres a pickup that goes around and pick people up. After 5pm there is a Live band playing cover song at times old school music 70s and 80s . There is a cash only bar and it gets packed.. Good crowd I enjoy it very much.. FYI: 30$ charge for each car..

Its clean, and the beach is big and beautiful and they have great live bands.

We spend many summer days here enjoying the beautiful beach. Ample parking and plenty of food options.. we usually bring our food but if we stay to watch the bands we have dinner there.Nice staff a full bar service .. highly recommended

We came for a quick dinner and some unwinding by the water time. Arrived at 5 for the free parking. It wasn’t too crowded at that time, so we sat and ate and then walked down to the water and relaxed for about an hour and unwinded. It’s a clean beach, no complaints.

Best summer place!

Great fun beach. Pricey to get in but very private and clean. Not too crowded and they give visitors rides from the parking lot to the beach. The walk is not bad either, about 5 to 7 minutes.

40minutes drive from Great Neck N. The weather seemed to be better than in Jones Beach. Beach is 3 minutes walk from the parking lots, but only few people, perfect place to relax after the busy downtown. Nice restaurant with music we could dance in the early afternoon

Its a great place to have a great time. The live music is very good, the beach is incredible, you can play any sport you want because theres enough space for everything and everyone. The food is good and the staff are amazing all around.

One of the best parts of living in the Town of Babylon are its beaches. Lots of room to set up, attentive guards, good waves and beautiful sun. Definitely need to get a season pass...and dont forget to ask about Veterans discount if it applies.

First time surfing. Was a lot of fun. Great place to pull up with your 4x4 and enjoy the beach. Water is protected too, so no sea weed was around and theres plenty of shallow area to wade into before going all in. Nice relaxing place, nothing loud to interrupt. Recommended.

This is a great place for live bands, and a great view. Its a great place to go to by boat, or car in the summer. The crowd is mostly 40, and up. I always run into people I know. Love it!

Great bands every nite at the salt shack

Ive seen and heard of this place for years and never went, finally got there and its great! Awesome music and vibe! Drinks were a little inconsistent and the food was incredibly mediocre, but youll definitely have a great time there whether its for music, volleyball, or the beach, this beach and Salt Shack are great!

Thursday night volleyball is amazing. There are so many teams to watch and it is a beautiful setting. There is a band at the restaurant and you can buy delicious food more along the line of a bistro not a full restaurant.

You can buy an alcohol beverage,go down to the beach then attempt to walk back up you will be stopped they will tell you you cannot come back onto the main floor with an alcohol beverage so either throw it away or drink it all

Great place for singles people and couple with kids . The beach is Clean and the food is delicious. Definitely will go back there !! Highly recommend!

I go to the beach hut for the live music. Come early because parking gets filled up quickly.

Great town beach. If you live in Babylon, get a permit. There is no beating this oceanfront and the Salt Shack isnt half bad.
