Nice park, but we have never had good luck here with the dogs/owners. We’ve gone a handful of times and the dogs are always aggressive and owners not attendant.
Fully fenced. Lots of shade. Well kept. Great spot for dogs. And people.
It would be great to have a workout station in this park. Even a pull up bar and bench could be nice.
Well my dogs love the dog park. The dogs and their humans are friendly
Always free people and nice dogs
Great place to bring your pups!
Rock outcropping and nice shade
Dog park is great! Hours are different for the dog park. Fenced in area and off leash, also the rest of the park is dog friendly but on leash. There is a water spigot near the north end of the fenced in area for dogs, and plenty of bowls left by other folks. Also plenty of poop bags just in case you forgot yours!
Can only speak in detail to the dog park, though the entire park is cute and well-maintained! The double gate is great, though there is another regular gate near the road. The park was shady, had a few different water bowls, a couple tennis balls, and a good amount of room for the dogs to run, play, and sniff. There are a lot of chairs and some benches and tables for dog owners, too, and people are generally friendly. For someone with a dog whose recall is not great yet, having this nice fenced-in dog park in Austin is a must!
Nice little neighborhood dog park connected with a cute little people park. All the neighborhood folks were so nice however we were a little scared of the gaps in the fence areas. Besides that, loved the shade, loved the mulched ground, and our corgi loved the chance to play.
Fenced in dog park is small but is frequented by other caring pet people. No one here has overly aggressive pups and everyone pays attention to their dogs interactions. Multi level is fun for when your done decides he is part mountain goat. I choose this park over closer ones regularly. There is also a water supply that isnt a mud hole. I love this as my dog is white and has long fluff. I dont want to bathe him everyone I take him out!
Pros - very shady, lots of friendly neighbors out with their dogs, plenty of seating, and a great walkable location in a wonderful neighborhood. Ive never had an issue with trash or broken glass like at some other dog parks.Cons - the dog park is all dirt and mulch, so youll be in mud if its the slightest bit rainy or in a dust bowl when it isnt.
Easy to social distance
Nice park and very well kept - no litter and all swings and equipment look well maintained. Was impressed to see that in mid-January that someone is keeping the pool clean. My only wish is that there was a separation of the dog areas based on size. Both times I’ve been it’s been full of large breeds - I am sure they were friendly dogs but my dog gets anxious around larger ones.
Nice, professional people, decent park.
This is a very nice park in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We went for the dog park and had a blast! The park is on an incline so the dogs can get some extra exercise as they run and play. It does have two picnic benches inside with tons of lawn chairs to sit and watch. Waste receptacles are located on the outside of the fences which keep the place pretty much spotless. Dogs had a great time and will definitely be back!
Pretty, quiet, nice park, well maintained. A couple of irresponsible neighborhood-local dog owners with troublesome pups who act like they own the place.
Nice little park. All of the doggy bags and garbage bins are located outside the park so that city workers never have to go inside the fenced-in area to change the garbage; so, you have to grab a handful of doggy bags before you go in and then toss them over the fence into the bins if you want to throw them away from the inside. There is a hose in the NE corner of the park to fill water bowls. The people are generally nice and quiet and keep to themselves. Lots of nice dogs. The landscape is hilly so the dogs get a good workout running and playing and theres lots of shade, as well. Its a nice park.
Shadey park - smaller for fetch games but easy parking.
Great fenced in dog park. Nice chairs and always lots of dogs.
Its good to have a dog park with an off-leash section, even if our little dog might be too small to feel comfortable. Itd be great to have two off-leash areas, but theres probably not space or money for it.
Small no leash dog park. A good amount of shade decent running area
Recently moved 10 miles away from the park but will still make the trip here. Well taken care of and responsible owners.
Pretty cool park and it is dog friendly
Enjoyed bringing my dog to this park. It’s spacious enough for the dogs to run around and also has chairs and benches for owners to sit and enjoy. Also like the fact of a pool and a play area.
Its a neighborhood park, and we went there for the dog park. Plenty of space for dogs to run around and a part of the park is in three levels so the dogs can go up and down them for even more exercise. Regulars brought buckets of water for dogs to drink and they can be refilled right outside the gate to the dog park.
The park itself is great. Fenced in, usually clean. Lots of fun dogs. I took one star off for the people. One of the few spots in Austin where I found unfriendly people. Lots of people glued to their cellphones. Could be because this is a pricey area but almost never do I see people actually socialize or even speak to each other. But the park facilitu itself is great.
Great big shaded og park!
Nice park tucked away in our favorite neighborhood.
My dogs loved this park
This is a nice park, the off leash area is a huge dirt area. There’s a nice big grassy area but it’s not off leash but everyone leaves their dogs off leash there anyway. I don’t trust my puppy enough out there so the dirt area it was.Just wish there was more grass in the off leash area.
The park itself it nice and clean. I visited to use the dog park. The dog park needs a lot of TLC. The fences and gates need repair. The ground is muddy and mixed with dog feces. The smell was almost unbearable. The space was big though and allowed my dog to run and jump all over the place. I just wish they would lay down some crushed pebble or landscape it a little better.
Seemed like there was nowhere to sit that wasnt too sunny or covered in bird poo. but thr atmosphere is relaxed and there werent too many dogs
Had a blast with my puppy. He is super playful and very interested in other dogs. This was a great environment for him and the people I met there were nothing short of welcoming and friendly.
No parking and wet when I was there. The 4 stars are for the effort put into making the pet have fun.
Fantastic cozy little neighborhood park with a amazing amount of attractions!
Great park thats downtown and not busy. Tons of room for the kids to play and bathrooms
Favorite park in Austin!
Medium sized dog park with benches, chairs and shade, a childrens playground, a small pool and a decent sized grass field for playing a sport or working out. Good overall
An excellent place for my dog to empty his bowels.
Playground open for you dog Park for the whole family
Great place to take your dog to.
Great little park to gather with friends with young kids. There are not many picnic tables but plenty of spots on the grass to lay a blanket and rest or have lunch. The pool is only open in the summer months and not as perfect for very small kids or for lap swimming. Its a rather small (for a public pool) circular pool.
North side has only one set of stairs; so if you have a bad back or walking disability, youll have to circle around to the steps. Otherwise it was clean. No issues. Small but it does the trick. I think it could use one more bench and picnic table.
Very nice community park. Great playscape and dog park.
Here every few Sundays for kickball, as the game pursues my son and I spend time in the park. Nice play scape and area to roam and run. Every visit is enjoyable. Nice dog park too!
Its a great treasure in the neighborhood! Weve never had an issue coming here and all of the owners have always been very responsible. Its great for smaller dogs too, which is rare to find in Austin
Spacious and comfortable
Its across the street from my house so Im there basically daily. Please be kind and cleanup after your pup so we can all stay healthy and have fun.
A nice secluded dog park, very shaded, not too dirty.
Fun little fenced off leash park. Has a nice playground and pool.
Great place for my dog to play in a fenced in area. The only downfall is that there isnt much grass, so he gets very dirty/muddy anytime we go.
One of only two fenced-in dog parks in Austin. This one is fairly small and can get a little crowded. Theres some seating for owners, and lots of room for the dogs to run around.Theres also a neighborhood pool and playground at the park. I didnt use either, but they both look very nice.
Nice restaurants on west Lynn
I love this neighborhood
Great looking park a good place to walk or drive by either way great area, no traffic
Nice hidden gem of a park. If I was homeless I would totally make this my home
Good neighborhood park with a decently-large dog park.Only cons: the basketball court is lame (quarter court with low hoop) and the dog park is so popular that most of the grass has turned into dirt.
This little park tucked away from most has a nice public pool and shade from trees.
Great park with a lot of stuff -- large fenced-in off leash dog park, grassy field, pool, single hoop basketball court, and small playground.
The dog park here is one of my favorite around.
Nice and shaded!
Great park and great pool, a hidden gem
Clean and fun
Favorite dog park in all of Austin, there’s always dogs here & even water provided for all the pups
Looks kinda run down
One of the gems of austin, great for you and youre dog or to go and relax on a bench.
Gets the dogs tired
Great park
Never been
Great quaint little park.
Best dog park in Austin.
Great busy dog park
Great for dogs and people
Great area for the pooches and a restful area.
Roomy, fenced in dog park!
Pros: lots of squirrels, located on hill,Cons: small area, limited parking, my dog got attacked twice on two different days by the same dog
Very nice park tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Austin. Lots of different areas, nice playground, walking trail, and bathrooms. Very nice community feel, you can tell that the local neighborhood residents shows up here and mingle. Very clean. Looks like there is probably a splash pad that is shut down for the winter. We came here after discovering Pease park was under construction. Very pleased with our choice. We will be back for sure.
