Hey there ! So wonderful hidden spot in Austin, here you can enjoy the lake, sun and amazing nature, don’t forget use a sunscreen! (At least 50) water all summer and autumn just perfect for swimming, not cold ! But be prepared, reach the water not easy) sometimes it dangerous. Stay alert! Not Harry.

Hidden gem in ATX: bring your water shoes or at least some sneakers because you will be hiking through large rocks! Tread light and bring only a couple of essentials; you will have to carry it down hill and then uphill. Expect tons of sun and not a lot of shade bring SPF. Pet friendly and crystal blue water! Ideal for the sunset and safe swimming areas marked on the water.

Very cool place to spend the day lounging in the rocks, doesnt have a beach.

Awesome hike down the large boulders! You end up at the edge of the clear water lake. Swim at your own risk! The boats passing by cause the waves to crash against the rocks and push you against them. Its a beautiful view across the water.

This place is such a natural beauty, please stop leaving your trash here. Theres a bin at the entrance be a decent human being and take it up with you

Went early on a Saturday and found plenty of parking. The county does not seem to be staffing the park during the current pandemic, so free admission. The trail was in poor shape, so do recommend hiking shoes or boots rather than Tevas and forget about coming in flip flops. Very steep decent to the water, more like scaling a cliff than walking. Lots of zebra mussels on the rocks, be careful getting in and out of the water. The trail at the far end of the parking lot is better and has better places by the water to lay out.

Excellent fishing area but dont go inside the red floatation devices. Thats the diver area

This park has a very good boat launch. The problem is that once you launch your boat you can only leave your boat at the pier for 15 min at a time. Dont plan on being able to beach your boat while you picnic because the shoreline is rock. There is a designated swimming area where boats are blocked for entering. The water is very clear, and beautiful.

Very nice and quiet place.I am visiting from out of state and ended up here and Im very glad I did.Nice hike down some steps and rocks to the water. The hike might not be for everybody, but if you like a bit of a challenge and adventure I definitely recommend it!The trails were nice and the water was absolutely beautiful! The water felt great on the day I was here, and also somehow I did not see another person there except for the occasional boater.Great view of Lake Travis!Im very happy I got to visit this place on my first trip to Texas!

Beautiful views, fun park for adventurous & athletic people, not so much for young children & I wouldnt even bring dogs here unless you keep them off the dangerous big rocks & stay on the trail, very rocky, no developments or comfy/smooth walkways, just primitive & beautiful nature, nice swimming areas, great exercise climbing over big rocks. Climb down a rocky cliff to reach lake & swim. Bring solid hiking shoes will tear up sandles, a backpack to keep both hands free for climbing. Not the quietest, lots of noisy motor boaters from neighborhood, & playing music loud.Gov needs to put a ban on noisy & smelly & polluting motorcraft, water would be far cleaner & prettier & healthier for people & wildlife.Less noise pollution & overall better.Still very pretty, great place to suntan, rock climb, walk around, & swim!

Beautiful place, though the trails are steep and the rocks at the shoreline are huge - would be nice if they could add stairs and smaller rocks for a beach! Also there was some old trash amongst the rocks, and theres a fee of $10/vehicle.

Nice little walk down by the river, but I do mean little. Really nice views, but the walk was very short although there was some quite some climbing at points required. Peaceful little getaway, never see other people here while I was here. Also the drive here was extremely beautiful and probably my favorite part of the whole thing!
