We were the only two in the room watching the movie. Everything is very clean. Movie; The Last Vermeer was great!

We are so thankful for the Auburn Movieplex; its really refreshing to be able to go to a small business/locally owned theater, rather than a big corporate.theater. Cheaper tickets, nice comfy seats, easy parking, good screens and sound, and nice people.

This place has improved in the past few years! The new seats are definitely a big plus and they seem to have taken better care to ensure their picture quality is fairly high. The service is occasionally spotty and the place feels a bit run down, but all in all its a solid joint!

Didnt understand the movie Tenet but it was very suspenseful

Over the years this place has gotten so much nicer! My boyfriend and I come here for movies quite frequently and enjoy it much more now that they remodeled the theatres. The seats are much more comfortable now, the movieplex is super nice now! Weve encountered on employee over and over that doesnt seem to be in the best mood but is still an amazing movie theatre!

Seats are not comfortable at all. Do not expect it to be like Movie Tavern at all. Also too cold in theaters and unclean.Auburn Movieplex replied to me saying that their prices are lower... Well I would rather pay a higher price and be comfortable and enjoy myself and my surroundings. Your prices are only lower because your service is too.

I like the new seats, and enjoy the atmosphere here with my kids. Lots of leg to, and there are a few different boosters for children to be able to see the screen better.

AMAZING place to go! May be on the more expensive side but hey, its perfect for a date. Arrive early, sit down at the bar and wait for your movie if you want, or arrive on time and sit down in theater and order food and beverages right from your seat. Waitstaff are always pleasant and quick to respond to a pushed help button on the food tray connected to the seats.

I wish they would fix there answer machine and open up.This is getting crazy.

Much improved since the new seating was installed. As always, a trip to the movies is no cheap date. That said, MoviePlex offers reduced prices for seniors, kids and students, which is a welcome break. Leatherette seats recline, which is nice. Sound in the theater was good.

We always get great seats! Great service and friendly staff, clean and well kept theaters. Never been disappointed with my concessions, highly recommend! As with most, the front theaters have fancier seats so if youre going to see a movie then try to see it week 2 or so of it being in theaters. Fewer people but still nicer seating!

I Saw John Wick 3 here. Good movie but the theater had some quirks. The popcorn was a 3/5 though the prices were cheaper than Regal. On the topic of price: the tickets were also more affordable than a Regal. Once I had snacks in hand I proceeded to the theater. Upon opening the door I was surprised to see the screen off (not yet showing trailers) and no lights at all to allow me to move to a seat. This little quirk continued until an attendant came and used a key to power on the floor lights. It felt like the theater was not ready for the showing that they themselves scheduled. The seats were an artificial leather but felt comfortable. The seats in our theater did not recline and at times felt awkward to sit in but fortunately the movie kept me distracted. I think I will come again for future movie screenings but I may be happier somewhere else.

The theatre was quite clean, probably a few pieces of popcorn but no vomit, drinks, or spilled candies. The chairs were comfy and even reclined a bit. No foot rest, although I didnt expect one!

This place has improved greatly over the past decade in terms of customer service. The new roomy seats are very comfy. Ticket prices are reasonable and I have never encountered better concessions prices. Definitely a good place for a movie and a steal at the price.

I go here more than anywhere else, its a great theater

Good Sound, Good price but the seating was not good. Hard seats and the only thing that reclined was the back of the seat. What happened to having a full recliner (legs support) Very uncomfortable seats. To recline you had to get up and push the back park back as it was to hard to do so by just pushing with your body. Will go elsewhere for my movies (Eastview Mall).

Nice new seats, however not small children friendly, child 4 feet 2inches couldnt see over the seat in front of her therefore had to sit in front row or hold a child on your lap thru the movie. Concession stand prices ridiculous

Absolutely love the new seats. Very affordable. Bathrooms could be better. Got stuck in a stall once because the lock broke.

Not my favorite movie theater. Was still pretty dirty from the showing before. We were in theater 1 or 2 I believe and the seats were not comfortable what-so-ever. I constantly had to re-situate myself to be comfortable

Good value with ticket pricing, but disappointed with the snack bar. Nachos with cheese were not ready once the box office allowed us in the first showing, then the popcorn served tasted so old I didnt bother confronting anyone since it wouldnt change anything at that moment.

Went to see Cats, it was great,my 8 yr old great granddaughter loved it as much as I did

The kids went for a birthday and loved it. We watched godzilla the picture and sound was amazing. The seating was clean and very comfortable we had a great time.

Its a lot nicer now that they have redone all the theaters. But if you are on the shorter side the new seats make it difficult to see the screen if you arent in a stadium-seating theater.

I had 2 x 5 yr olds with me to see Dumbo and their seats were so tall the kids could not see over the top. They had to stand or sit on their knees! My 8 yr old said she didnt see that well either! I suggest they provide comfy boosters for the kids too!

Easy parking, friendly ticket seller, big lobby and well stocked snack bar. The theater is advertising that they are in the process of putting in new seats, which are sorely needed. Saw the movie Green Book which was excellent!

We took grand daughter to see Frozen 2. We got there a little early so she wanted to play on video games. Lost money in everyone and staff said they had no control over them as they didnt own them and couldnt refund me. I suggested pitting a sign on them saying they didnt work, but again told they couldnt. Then upon going onto theatre lights weren on and we had total darkness, outside of using flashlight on phones. Then went to sit and the seatsare way too high and floor is not slanted enough for children to see over them. Ended up getting 3 booster seats for granddaughter and 2 for me. I noticed all parents

The rooms are a little gross, Movie theater 1 has a room leak that’s huge and a blocked off seating area. The staff was great and the movie screen was alright. Good service and good prices.

Great theatre, very comfortable seating and a very helpful and kind staff. They also give away posters for all the great movies they have had playing at the beautiful theatre.

The host last night let a bunch of kids into an R movie. When I asked her she said well the dad said it was fine. Definitely not going back, they were loud and running around the whole time. During the serious scenes in the end they would shout and run out of the theater. Very unprofessional service.Response to the owner: letting that many kids into a theater without any supervision (and during the second night screening of a big movie) was a very poor decision by your management.

We saw Unplanned. Our experience was 5 stars from beginning to end. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was young, bubbly and extremely professional, totally caring about our time there. The nacho chips they had were very broken and they cared about serving them; they thought it was the last bag but they actually took the time to run to another room and check before saying they were out; one young lady even offered to bring our snacks so that I wouldnt miss the movie while waiting. Not the average work ethic or service from many kids these days ️ On our way out I saw two young men headed in immediately with supplies to clean up and the staff asked how the movie was and chatted before it got busy. A++

Brought my family to see the new Avengers movie on April 26, 2019 8pm showing. Dont waste a dime on this place. The new chairs are so tall that youll leave with a sore neck after trying to see the bottom four feet of the screen. The popcorn was bland and the drinks had little to no taste. The temperature in the theater had to be at least 80, we were soaked by the end of the movie. We also had to sit through twenty minutes of tv commercials with only two short coming attractions and the volume was ear piercing through those. Since when did they start playing that many tv commercials at a paid for theater before the movie begins? When the other movies were done there were hooting and hollering for at least twenty minutes where we wondered how the staff was allowing this. We got the answer to that when we left and there wasnt a single staff member present and most overhead lights were off. If I could rate it lower I would.

Not a great place to watch a movie. The chairs are very uncomfortable and the theater was hot. Seems like it is in a sketchy area as well. This would be okay if it was a dollar theater, but knowing places like movie tavern charge the same for tickets makes it an easy decision.

They need to turn the heat up.. A little cool... But other than that GREAT STAFF and Clean

It was not crowded at all, so we were able to get great seats and be completely unbothered by other moviegoers

I gave this place 3 stars prior and went again recently and am changing it to 5. The service was exceptional and they recently upgraded to reclining seats. Much cleaner then before as well. We did have to sit up front which I really dont like to because I had my 2 year old granddaughter with me who wouldnt have been able to see over the seats being very tall. I wish more people would come here. It is always pretty empty, the times I have gone anyways. Tickets and concession is cheaper than most other theaters around here. Will def keep coming.

I like the new leather seats

A large movie theater that offers many different movie times and a wide selection of new releases. The chairs are very spacious and can recline. The snack bar is large and has a good assortment of the standard options, and the popcorn portions are generous compared to other theaters.

Movie was great, love the lion king. The movie st-st-st-st-stuttered a few times. Btw Jay-z killed Mufasa.

Since going digital, there are no more viewing quality issues. It is nice to have a local theater, so I encourage people to visit often instead of paying higher prices in Syracuse.

Some of the seating is still an issue for younger viewers having a hard time seeing over the seat in front of them. Seats are definitely an upgrade though from the previous setup.

Great theatre. Small to large showing rooms. 3d and normal viewing. Close and comfortable. Shows most every new popular movie.

Its clean and inexpensive, however the new seats make it a bit hard to see the movie as they are so tall...

They have good setting and a polite staff. The staff however will not intercede when there is a customer disturbing other patrons. The best they will do is offer a free showing.

We went to see Aquaman but for me it was hard to enjoy the movie when it was so cold in the theater. So Cold! They to have a coffee bar.

Several seats were broken and the popcorn tasted stale, maybe because we went late on a Sunday night and they didnt make new/fresh popcorn. Staff seemed bored and uninviting.

Went to this theater tonight I found it clean and the seats were comfortable. The movie was great and i was issued a pair of 3d glasses, which were clean and never used. The snack bar was reasonably priced for a theater and the popcorn with extra butter was perfect. The theater personnel were observedcleaning up the lobby and the individuals theaters, when the movies were over. Both the ticket boothand snack bar people were very polite and helpful. Chairs are a bit old but still enjoyed movie. Staff a little rude NOT ALL but I asked for something at concession stand and the worker (female) replied very rudly. Caught me off guard!!!

Movie experience was fine, but with all of the other theaters upgrading their sound systems, screen displays, chairs, and overall experience I have to say it was just okay. Want to see a movie? It works. Want anything more? Youll have to go elsewhere and also pay more!

Nice local theater and they will have new comfy seats in March 2019 to compete with Movie Tavern.

Its sub par and run by teenagers overseen by failed gas station attendants. The floor was sticky too.

Sound is not good at all had to strain to understand what characters were saying. Sounded garbled and took away from relaxed enjoyment and understanding of the film. This is 3rd time in a row this has happened. I even went as far the 2nd time to get their closed caption glasses. What a pain they were. Sorry, my next film will be seen in Syracuse. Better sound, better picture, better seats.

Only 3 stars because the last 2 times i have been it was to the same theater, and the seats are all ripped up. It is kind of dirty in it. The other ones I have been in have been decent.

This is the worst movie theater I have literally ever been to . This is because the chairs they have in their theaters will destroy your back. I saw Mission Impossible Fallout, a 2 and a half hour movie sitting in one of their horrendous seats and experienced intense back pain for the next couple of days. Not worth it... The theaters are also small, dingy, and dirty. Never again.. Horrible local business.

Comfortable new seats

Getting so used to bigger screens and reclining seats. This is an older theater like I remember as a kid but I paid 75¢ for a current movie. The only real complaint was the sound was a little distorted. It was retro fun

So peaceful and relaxing

Theatre was clean. Prices good. Movie playing in the theatre near us was too loud at times. Felt like I was watching two movies at once. Very distracting.
