Very nice museum. Friendly docents. I liked their displays better than the traveling Smithsonian display that was visiting.

We were here for a wedding, this was the 1st time that I have ever been here. I would like to go back for a visit.

Beautiful museum with a ton of history! Very well kept and the staff is amazing and very well informed. Debbie showed us around and made sure to give us plenty of brochures to other places to visit, as we are new to the area. If you are nearby, well worth the visit!

Loved our visit here! Came on a free day and plan to come back and pay to go because its not expensive at all! Nice to see history of the area.

Amazing attention to detail in this museum of McMinn County history. The amount of artifacts is vast and articulately arranged. The welcome we received upon our arrival was so warm and inviting.

Visited this museum during a quilt exhibition. The displays are very interesting, and the small market playing area for children is very cute.

Good Museum. Great Plaque marking the actual spot of the Battle of Athens. How pertinent in todays political climate. Very friendly staff and nice city to visit.

Interesting museum detailing the history of McMinn County and Athens, TN. The artifacts were extremely well preserved and presented in a logical order. Great place to visit to get a feel and understanding of the area.

Youll be hard pressed to find a better museum for the size if the community. Great and unique exhibits, great staff, excellent regional and local history research location.
