In November of 2020, this place is just an overgrown lake bed. Check back after the spring rains.

Took the kids fishing here. Loved it! So nice to find a quiet like place like this just outside of town. Feels like youre far away but not. Need tops on catching... well... anything, though.

Not a bad lake for small fish, Whomever is in charge of mowing the Dam needs to get on it as of Aug 17th the grass was over my head and basically makes it impossible to fish in the majority of the fishing area...Ive caught some decent Largemouth here. Channel cat are your main catfish though Ive caught some Bullhead. Dock Side/Parking lot/Boat Ramp Area is shallow so I dont fish that side but Ive seen several others fish there all summer. Makes me wonder at times. Very minimalistic not a place for family fun unless your looking for Nature.

A beautiful little lake with quick access from Athens. Theres a boat ramp and dock, hiking trail, and lots of woods.

Small shallow lake no restroom but easy to put a boat in the water. Fishing is poor to none.
