This place used to be one of the best places to make memories with our loved ones. The pool was so fun. And the fair was awesome. I especially loved it when they raced horses. The 4th of July for Andersonians was always there, or as close as you could get to the huge firework display. Im so happy to read that we have the funds to make it great again, finally! I cant wait to see what they do with it.

Visiting the Andersontown pow wow. Saw a friend get married in a native American celebration. Always an interesting time here.

It was a great evening. Enjoyed everything. Just wish they would do something useful to the Athlectic Park so we can use it more then once or twice a year. I grew up in Park place, playing softball and swimming.

Not much here. But there is a historic swimming pool. One of the last of its kind. Sadly the local people see no value in it. The location has potential.

I visited for the PowWow...idk if Indiana is just different than my usual experience with these events but it really wasnt the same. (To be fair my experiences are all on actual reservations). I do love that there was plenty of educational locations, overall I hope they can come up with a larger turnout and make it more traditional in the future. Im all in support and hopeful future events raise education and awareness!

Its a good place to take your dog for a walk if you have a dog that is not all that good around people but still want to get them out and about for a little bit.
