There is a bunch of gift shops and other treasures downtown. There is many places to enjoy a meal and drink.

Very neat viewpoint. Lots of free parking. Great view of Anchorage and the mountains and it also has a map showing which mountains are what. Definently a neat place to drive to in the evening with a warm cup of tea. Dont be surprised if you see moose as well!

During times of convid, this was a amazing date location where normal dating cant really happen at restaurants. Bring a blanket and watch the sunset with sleeping lady in your view.

Well located and safe to park place

Lovely spot to stop and take in the Knik inlet and take some photos of the Anchorage skyline. Best when the sun is low for beautiful light reflectionsAttached to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, which extends both ways to downtown and the other way to Kincaid Park.There is always the possibility of seeing moose here as well.

Definitely a popular spot for photography, we were looking for somewhere to relax & enjoy the sunset. There were many people there & a few who were enjoying their music a bit loudly. If you can ignore all the other people, its quite a lovely spot, or if youre looking for others who enjoy watching sunsets, this is a great place! Worth the visit either way.

Must stop for beautiful view of Anchorage and if you’re up to it you can walk on the paved trail.

Great view, favorite spot for photography and hiking...Even bus tours stop here for sightseeing

Dress for being near the ocean in Alaska, you have been warned. If you stray away from the parking lot, you can get some good pictures, just dont be afraid to walk a little bit. Miles of trails, can see a better amount of the area if you are on a bike. Can even see the Fireworks from here, during a certain celebration.

A lot of beggars and homeless on the streets.

Easy to navigate. Quaint with no big mall feel for shopping. Great walking tour experience. Enjoyed historical sites and buildings/houses as well as new contemporary residential and commercial structures. Especially intrigued by water access and mountain views from downtown. Most exciting was visiting retail furriers and seeing variety of furs and dyed garments.

Downtown Anchorage is the top of the head between two rabbit ear shaped ocean inlets. The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is really worth traveling along- from downtown all the way to Eartquake Park.

Great view of the mountain range to the north. You can see Denali on a VERY clear day.

What a great place. We not only had the great down town view. We even saw Denali from here. Yes we had the best weather possible.There are a few tables set up where you can have a picknick. No shadow, though.

Zorbas has a great selection and the food is always delicious. quick and easy when you are busy throughout the day.

It was great and different from Detroit, lots and lots of things to see, the trolley ride was Great. Recommend if you go to Anchorage Alaska.
