Mount Vernon Recreation Center is a really great clean facility that serves the greater Del Ray community, so well!

My granddaughter had a BD party at the indoor pool. No other parties booked. The kiddie pool never turned in their fun things until our swim time was over & we had to get out of the kiddie pool during our allotted time for “adult” swim??? Kiddie pools are usually exempt from that! And they wouldn’t let us in the party room until 15 minutes before even though the party room was totally empty!!!! We had to keep 5 year olds sitting outside the room while we finished setting up! Despite the fact we asked twice to get in just a few minutes early. So basically, they don’t make ANY reasonable accommodations for party guests. Customer service is non existent

Low cost wonderful community events. Great place to enjoy family and friends activities.

They dont even let you play basketball in the gym. One time I went there to ask the lady if I could play basketball and she said NO Sir! This is my rec center! Very rude people...Vending machine is always broke, Only a gym which you can never use, Broken Air hockey table!! STEP IT UP MVCS REC CENTER!!!!!!
