This is a great park to walk at night. I love the lighting its not a place where I feel unsafe when Im going for a long walks late at night. During the day there is some homeless around the area but they stick to themselves. I never seen them drunk or high or anything like that. I feel like this is a great place to bring a family to play. I often see people doing sports here and other things. I recommend this park

Good beginner rock climbing. Some roadside parking and a trail to the top.

Theres vagrants. Im glad they keep their distance but it makes me not trust the playground as much as Id like to.

Kinder park is a favorite walking freguently with visits both day night for a long loop around the park and neighborhood apartments. Itʻs been a great place to walk and think and collect my thoughts.

Good park for kids

Clean and well kept. No broken play structures. I walk my dog often on the path and Im never worried whether hell get into something he shouldnt.

Nice park . . has swings including one baby swing. A rare find at parks these days! Could use a little more shade but otherwise very nice.

I love this park. Years ago I would take my young girls here to play. Its a great place to watch little kids. There are benches for parents and you can see all of the play structures from one place. Its still a great destination for those lunch time rendezvous with friends in the Spring sunshine.

This was a cool spot. There was shade for adults, but the location allowed for some parents to hang out in their car. Fun equipment for the kids, covered area.The fountain didnt work. Bring a drink for the kids!

We stopped off here on the way home for a break from the road, during my time at this park I witnessed a drug deal and about 10 shady homeless people camping right next to the play structureWATCH YOUR KIDS at this park not safe!

Very nice, open playground with two baseball fields. There are swings and a large play structure thats good for kids about 3+. There are two baby swings. The park has benches and a few picnic tables under shade canopies.

Park was clean and looked maintained. The play structure is large so there was a lot to keep the kids busy. There were covered picnic tables, plenty of garbage cans, and a water fountain. We enjoyed playing here.

Nice relaxing place. Plenty of playground equipment for kids to play on. Benches for the adults to sit and watch. During late spring and summer there is covered areas for more shade. Great for outdoor birthday parties. They qlso have two baseball/softball fields.

Theres not much shade here, but theres a big play structure and plenty of room to run around. Older kids are often here unsupervised, so be advised.

One of our daughters favorite parks to go to during the nice seasons! Plus great for family outings, fun with friends, or just by yourself. It has plenty of benches around the park to sit at. A great trail to walk/run. It also has great baseball and grass fields as well! Its not to big, but also not to small for everyone to enjoy. There are portal potties during the summer time and a faucet with hose spout as well. And you never know you might find a hidden rock laying about here and there at times that will bring a smile to the finders face.

Bathrooms hadnt been serviced in six weeks. They were being serviced every other week before then.Equipment is great though.

Good play equipment and lots of running room for kiddos. Theres even enough space to fly a kite. Loses a star for only having porta-potties.

The Park is always clean and its away from a lot of noise, and unsavory individuals. However they need to add another bathroom.

Great little park in the center of the city. However a restroom would be great especially with little ones.

I love the park but there are not so great people without kids there. They are kind of creepy. So just watch for them. It would be cool to see a water pad in the park.

Great park for everyone in your family. Bike path, baseball, tables, bring sidewalk chalk and make a masterpiece. Birthday parties are wonderful during the nice weather. Very clean and well kept for an Albany park its exceptional! No offense.

Theres a swirly slide thats split open and anyone sliding down will get hurt till they fix it

Nice park with a large, fun play structure. There are some spinning toys that are dangerous. The have no handles or way to stop once you start spinning and the way they are set in the ground, momentum gets you spinning faster and faster. I saw several kids fall off head first. Luckily there is soft bark chips underneath. Other than that, it is great. We took a picnic and they had covered picnic areas.

My only issue is when the boys and girls club arrives the staff dont pay attention to the children they should be watching.

It was a classic Park.

Nice playground but only one portapotty and it was dirty and stunk. Utility workers stopped by to use it also. Also, homeless person hanging around.

Relatively clean. Nice updated equipment. The kids loved it. I did throw so done elses trash away, that was kind of an eyesore. Overall good experience.

Fun, lots of equipment and lots of kids of various ages playing. The barkdust was thick, everything seemed clean and well kept, and there was plenty of seating available near the play equipment.

Was quite busy with a baseball thing going on, play stucture ok my kids enjoyed the sit and spin chairs and the developed landscape for a game of hide and seek; only unpleasant part was a parent hows child joined the hide and seek game was very verbal of her unhappiness of the boundaries i allowed my kids to play in and then telling her kid where my 10 were hiding makong it in the kids words a rude and unfair game .... We will not go if they r there again! But will return for a fun time.

This is a lovely, newer park. Its located just down the path from the Albany Boys and Girls Club. The equipment is well maintained and up to date. It has great little winding paths, room to run, baseball fields, water fountain and porta-potty, at least seasonally. Fairly quiet neighborhood, too, although Lowes has created a little more traffic, but not too bad at all.

Great kids park. Good facilities. Would be nice if there were real bathrooms, but it is pretty good still.

The park was fine. But the portable bathroom has needles in it and the toilet was filled with old clothes...

I give two stars because too many people let there dogs run off leash there. There is a leash law in this city for a reason!

It is quiet and clean and you do not find drug paraphernalia around which is unusual for the parks here in Albany

Plenty of things to do for kids 5-15 or more. My two year old has some trouble with some of the play furniture so he needs a lot of attention while playing. There is covered seating in the summer, trash cans, and water fountains.
