Was in Albany during the month of August. There on a holiday spending it with my brother. Really was impressed with the whole City. Felt like a town really. Had everything one would need within a few miles walking distance. The people were great. Miss it already. This park was very nice an plan to visit again.

I had not been to Timber Linn Memorial Park for several decades. I was amazed at how mature the landscaping there has become. It was such a beautiful summer evening and it was nice to spend time out in nature and forget about the Quarantine. The nutria were swimming in the creek as we crossed over the footbridge from the parking lot. The trees are huge and provided great shade to keep us cool. The foot paths are all paved making handicapped access fully integrated into the park design. I was able to travel with my friends effortlessly wherever we roamed. It was wonderful watching the small airplanes taking off and landing as the sun was going down. I wouldve taken more pics but I was enjoying my time there far too much to remember taking such photos. Very few people were there and the park was clean and well maintained. One person needed to use the bathroom, and only porta potties were available. He said they were clean and usable, but still a porta potty.I definitely recommend this as a place to go for an after dinner stroll to get some fresh air. They have some large covered areas for group BBQs, but no info posted on how to reserve them. But this should be easy to look up.

It was a nice park to take the kids to just to relax and go fishing. Bathrooms werent open but there was a porta potty. You just couldnt sit down because the seat was even more disgusting then the average porta potty.

I like to walk my dog around the park. There are excellent paths and sidewalks all around this park. We make 2 to 3 complete circuits and it is quite a nice walk for us both. If you are lucky, you can watch small planes take off and land at the airport...just across the street. Plenty of parking available. I have never had a problem, and I use this park at least 3 times a week. Around the pond there is fishing, and you may even see a heron. I managed to get a good picture of him wading, then flying off. Enjoy!

Linn County has beautiful well tended parks even in the winter. Timber Linn has BBQs covered patios, walking bridges, and plenty of ducks! They used to have disc golf courses but I am not sure that is a thing anymore, in Linn County. The veterans memorial has benches for sitting and reflecting on the service members who have sacrificed all. Kiddies play pee week soccer on summer and fall Saturdays while loving, tired parents and grandparents cheer on.

I went to the Timber Linn Memorial for my own personal experiences and to pay my respects for all fellow service members that I was honored to serve right along with. It’s peaceful, quite and clean park with benches to sit down to reflect on my memories. There are pathways to walk on. Names on bricks lined up on walls for the war that the service member was in; the ones that didn’t make it back home. On the other side of the park are areas of play structures for kids, and benches for barbecues or picnics. It’s a family friendly place to take the family for a couple of hours to enjoy activities or the ducks around the water!
