Clean and fun for my babies

Very chill park

Quiet little park. Great place to throw the frisbee with the dog. No drug deals going on. The City of Albany does a wonderful job of providing residents with great parks and keeping them clean and safe. Thanks for doing this. The employees work hard.

Nice park but lots of dog POOP!!

Its a nice little family park with a couple of picnic tables and a play area for the kids ...just be on the lookout by the trees for doggie presents

Ancestors of mine donated the land for this park many years ago. I was last here on Aug 9th, 1987 for a Burkhart Reunion which saw relatives from all over Oregon, and from Washington, Tennessee, California and as far away as Switzerland. I liked the fact that there was a covered area to sit at (in case of rain) in addition to basketball courts. Its a nice little park, the size of a city block, and I was able to visit with family I would never have met, otherwise. Unfortunately, all of the photos I took were lost when my mother moved and later died in 2002, and many of the people who attended the reunion have since passed, but Ive been able to connect with their descendants and would love to hold another Burkhart Reunion at this lovely park, some day.
