I like the Albany Bulb for its art, the closeness to the water, and its exercise value -- entertaining, slightly challenging, and not too arduous.

Great view of San Francisco decent short hike up the hill one of the few places you could look back at the East Bay hills from the East Bay watch out for ticks.

Very noisy from the highway. Very dusty with lots of poison oak everywhere and no real good views or good signage on where to park or go. Needs work.

Its a cool place to go alone, with friends, your dogs...oh and no leash needed, and other dogs are well behaved. Great views and little beach areas to get wet...great place for sunsets too....take a flashlight incase...lol....enjoy

Cool hidden and woodsy park in the middle of the city. The noise from the highway is quite loud though and theres a lot of brush from the eucalyptus trees that need to be cleaned up.

Lovely area and fun family hiking. There are two tree swings and a nice hilltop view of the bay.

Albany hill park is really nice and good Park in urban life.One side has small creek give us resting place for tired people. Other side has sea breeze take away sweat from tired body.Sometimes you can see wild turkey coming down to creek for solve thirst and you can see duckies slowly swimming scenery too.Anyway the Albany hill is really nice and good place.

I deeply special place for my son and I. Hit the top of the hill where the cross is, one one side there are benches faces a great view of Berkeley/El Cerrito, on the other side a little harder to find, another bench and wood swing facing the Golden Gate Bridge. People pay a ton to live here, but you can drive to the top and park on circle for free. On the hill slope south and then down facing the bay from the cross, there is a clearing slope area that is a wonderful place to look at the stars at night. You should stop here, even if just passing through.

Lovely, secluded park with views of the Bay and Hills slightly obscured by trees. There is a robust monarch butterfly population.The new paved, accessible path is open (17-Nov-19), but there is still some work to be completed. There are no accessible-designated parking spaces.Do not park in the circle turn around area. Although it may be obscured, the curb is red. There is ample parking along the road.

What a hidden Gem, hard AF to find but SO worth it.. short 10min walk reveals semi obscured views 360° around you as you are lifted up out of Albany.. multiple bridges are in sight, the hills of Berkeley/Oakland. . Great place to roll blunts, please be sure to pick up your wrappers. Bring water, as smoking blunts in the park can make you thirsty. There is a very large adult swing there currently, use while blunted.

What a nice hill! One time I sat on a bench facing east and decompressed between work shifts, and another time I sat on that same bench and shared a bottle of wine with a lover. It’s a multipurpose bench. No littering here though! Let’s all keep it clean!

I had driven past it on the freeway plenty of times and I finally stopped by recently. Its a small hill but pleasantly fragrant because of the densely packed Eucalyptus trees. Not a tremendous hike by any means but there are winding, wooded trails on one side and steeper paths on the opposite side. 99 Ranch is easily accessible and makes running errands after a hike even easier.

A nice area to walk for a escape from outside world. Has many smaller paths to challenge any walker. Dense but nice challenge that isnt too difficult.

A great place to take dogs, kids and art lovers. Once a dump, its now trails trhough ab overgrown dump with smatters of junk sculptures, graffiti and guerrila artworks. Be wary... lots of hidden sharp rebars and other junk. Besides that one aspect... a fabulous site. (Oh... lock your car and leave nothing of onterest in sight). Please note that this review is for Albany Bulb... on the bay... not Albany Bay Patk, which is close, but more inland.

Been coming down since middle school. A great place to relax and enjoy the view. During summer nights its a chill place to clear your mind and enjoy the breeze while looking up at moon and the stars.

This is in California where the air was cool, crisp and fresh. The walking was great and the park was clean

Its a cute little spot for a stroll or jog. Wouldnt recommend to hikers or people to travel to for amazing scenery. Its definitely more of a spot for people who live in the area.

Popular spot for joggers. This is a nice eucalyptus Grove. We saw two does and two fawns grazing near the trail

This is a great place to bring your dogs everyone here is quite friendly and everybody stays civil to one another while their dogs play bring your dogs here for a good fun day in the Sun and let them get a little wet and visit a nearby dog wash at Pet Food Express

Great trails for all levels of hiking, from flat and basic to steep and challenging. Gorgeous trees, awesome view of the Bay. One of my favorite places to take a walk.

Great park for a brief hike. The are lots of places to look over the city and enjoy the scenery too.

This year there will be special events every weekend. I highly recommend checking it out

Pleasant walk on the hill at sunset. The only real high point near the water in the El Cerrito/Albany/Berkeley area.

Nice and cozy place. Good for taking a walk.

Chill vibe, much better before they removed the rope swing and fixed the bench. The swing was removed because it was unsafe but all this did was lead to the construction of an even less safe swing. The bench used to have a very far tilted back rest, now there is none at all.

Love hiking here with the gorgeous tress and those amazing turkeys who are truly in control of this land right here.

Nice park, please note the word hill as it is not a flat area by any means.
