Kind of muddy this time of year, main trail seems wide and flat. Wouldn’t go in there alone at night. Easy kayak access.

Nice walk with tons of little trails. The bad thing is there is always LOTS of doggie poo all over the main paths. It makes it hard to let my 2 and 3 year old run on their own when its everywhere!

I walk Simpson path 3 days a week year round and e joy it alot. Its pretty down there and relaxing you will see birds and deer, i would not walk it when there is strong winds because of the possibilty of trees blowing down.

A lot of homeless people claim this as a park where they live so just be careful Ive been down there several times and its not too safe of a place to walk

Simpson park is beautiful. You can visit talking waters park, which is right next to the parking lot, or go hiking on the two mile trail if you would rather explore a little more.

Nice place for a walk, but do keep an eye out for agressive off leash dogs, happens too often at this park. Oh and there are some irksome mosquitoes around as well.

Nice easy trail along the Willamette River

Green, peaceful, and quiet place to stroll between the lakes & river very close to the city. An awesome spot!
