How can u not enjoy a park? It also depends on what type of person you are,, if you are a relaxed, chill person, then the park is your playground! But Ive gone to a park to also calm myself down from a bad situation. Bottom line,, parks are great!

Took swimming lessons at the pool back in the 1970s an wow has it changed. The park looks fantastic!!

The public pool was nice. Not a lot of places to sit, so you may have to bring a chair or a blanket. The food is cheap and good : includes ice cream, chips, drinks, and some candy all for only $1.00 each.

Very nice quiet and relaxing

This place is so awesome! Went there for the first time today. I used to take my kids to the wading pools in Cuyahoga Falls but this place is so much better for older kids AND ITS FREE!! Nice large pool, life guards on staff, safety break, concessions stand, police that monitor the place. All the kids are so respectful and calm and well- mannered. Even the teens that come alone. Recommend to anybody looking for safe, clean, free place for their kids to swim.

Free pool for the summer for the community. Its so lovely they do this for all of us in akron. Workers are wonderful as well

Nice park with different options of swimming, basketball and tennis courts. Important to pay attention to the limited swimming hours though.

There is usually a wIt to get in. But the pool is decent once you get in.

Nice neighborhood park. Ball park, tennis courts, rest rooms, pool, playground and club house. One of the nicest small parks in Akron. Includes many city events like small concerts and Akron ballet performances. Check the website for calendar of summer events.

Free community pool with an amazing staff!!

They couldnt figure out why not many people go to this park besides to use the pool (which closes very early, I cant imagine why.../s) or the basketball courts, so they dumped sand all over the place without packing it down and call it a walking path to try and improve park utilization. A uniquely ugly park with signage admonishing the youth not to engage in profanity, but without any kind of enforcement. It gets +1 star for having a memorial to Cpl. Derek Wyatt, a fallen soldier from the local community.

The fields were great and the pool, even though it was Closed, was in nice condition, but the playground had a broken swing and there was minimal paint, but what paint was left was chipping off. Not the nicest playground but everything else was fine.

The pool was clean .. theres not many tables to sit at that have an umbrella but you can bring your own towel and sit.

There was no one on the playground and the equipment was all painted over. One of the swings was broken and the crawl through tube was melted in some places
