Absolutely gorgeous area. Walking trail. Plenty of seating. Play ground for kids. Great picnic area.

Its a great place for place for fishing very clean and peaceful.

This is a nice park. It has a paved walking trail that is accessible to all. The view is beautiful and there are plenty of places to sit or picnic next to the lake. There are several recycling cans available, as well as those for trash. There is a little library box available (a place to find and take or donate books), two nice playgrounds (with a zip line), a weight machine exercise area, and docks (when the water is in good condition). I dont live in the community, but I come here about twice a week to enjoy the breeze, the sun, the view, and a good book!

I live in walking distance from there, good place get fresh air and for a walk or go fishing. The 2 bad things. I remember when you were able to go swimming there. I was there almost every weekend. And the police station should be moved elsewhere

Theyre making so many improvements to the park. Weve always enjoyed walking here. Paved path level 1, multiple benches, picnic tables, restrooms ( currently closed due to virus) an adult workout area, two childrens play areas, gazebo, & a pavilion. Recommended!!

Beware of the blue hair family. They have older kids that threaten, bully, and hog equipment. Trash parents that live on a bench n dont watch there mistakes. Call police on these people you wont be the first

Wonderful trail that runs along the lake with many park benches. Plenty of clear shoreline for fishing.

Such a Beautiful and well kept park, we went to the carnival food drive thru they have set up there, it took a while to get our food, but very worth it, there are plenty of tables and benches around the lake to enjoy your food and the sunsets,

Its an ok lake but its really shallow in most areas and not alot of speed boaters boat on this lake mostly bass boats and fishermen. Its also kinda scungy and has an algae problem

Great place to walk and bond. Beautiful relaxed environment. Park for young children with pirate juggle gym, swings and zip line. Walk path, boats, fishing, great for pet walking, seniors and couples. Will definitely visit again and recommend. No food sold but I was told food trucks stop by.

Great place....safe....everything is close if u need some extra bait or vittles....could use a few port a pots closer to the bait shop...its our spot...

Great park with plenty of parking, playgrounds for the kids, dog friendly,fishing off the shore and dock, boating, windsurfing, gazebo, and during the summer free Friday night concerts.

Pretty gardens, a gazebo, playgrounds and walkways. I miss the swimming area.

If it wasnt the 2nd dirtiest lake in Akron it would be nice to swim in

I love that the springfield township police an fire department is in the front of the lake well on my side of the lake they are. Its usually pretty settle. Peaceful. They do have a park which is nice if you got little ones. Alot of people walk their dogs there an they always have them on their leashes an cleaning their poop up, an all are very friendly

This is a great little park. Its family and pet friendly. You can fish, walk the paved trail, launch your boat in the water and they have a play ground for big kids and little kids. There is a pavilion you can rent for outdoor parties or bbqs. They even have outdoor workout equipment. Its always a nice place to go and relax or have a good time.

Grew up walking distance from the lake! They are really making a lot community involvement events. I love going to the Friday concerts with my daughters & grandmother. Watched fireworks here for July 4th, & they were really incredible!

I went here for my prom pictures and was not disappointed it is a very nice clean park with a beautiful lake and gazebo perfect for pictures.

I grew up actually swimming here. Of, course, I was very young. My extended family has lived around the Lake since I can remember. Good times!

Sidewalk along the shore to see the the ducks is cool. Fishing is best in boat but along the shore is good too. Gazebo is nice to visit when the bands play in the summer.

Other than sitting right behind the police station its very serene

Great fishing. Only issue was not so much public space away from boating dock. The boats were scaring the fish away. Overall my favorite fishing spot

We had an impromptu picnic with the grandchildren. The park was clean, a table was available with a perfect view and there were ducks! The perfect afternoon with the kids until a little rain came down!

Super tranquil, right in front of the Springfield police and fire departments. Great for kids because of swingsets, a pier, lots of fishing spots, beautiful gazebo, and boat ramp. Must read boating rules first though, you have to boat counter clockwise around the lake.

Fantastic time with family!!! Saw the fireworks and enjoyed the carnival. Such nice people in a great atmosphere. We will be going back soon!!!

Beautiful lakeside view. I love sitting at the picnic tables and doing some computer work or just watching the birds and the water.

Very well kept for the most part. Not overly littered, and bags are provided for dog mess. The only complaint I have was that the restrooms werent unlocked. I suppose they think people dont have to use the restroom at this time of year.

The lake is fine But a shout out to to Springfield PD you guys are great and i just wanna say thankyou....

Such a beautiful place. I live within walking distance and will walk my dogs along the path, or sometimes walk down to view the sunset over the water. Theyve done an awesome job of fixing things up there, and adding playgrounds as well as a workout area with equipment. If you havent been, Id definitely stop down. They have many events throughout the summer.

One of the best local parks in the larger Akron Area. Springfield Lake is really clean and beautiful!

I was there to watch my sons fish. The picnic tables, small walkpath, bathrooms, and overall cleanliness is why I enjoyed my first time at Springfield Lake Park. And bugs werent eating at you either unlike other lake parks.

Beautiful lake for boating, great fishing, and family fun! Excellent for parties, picnics, swimming, exercising,, or a romantic walk by the lake. Aside from swimming and the kids playground, its open day and night as well. Plenty of festivals and sporting events are hosted here as well!
