I don’t normally write these reviews, but felt compelled to say something about what I witnessed in the Boardman location last night. My husband and I entered and were asked if we would like masks (I had my own on) but my husband explained that he has a medical condition that makes it hard for him to breathe. The young lady was very understanding and we received wonderful treatment from both the girls, very helpful, funny, and informative.That is not why I’m writing this review however. Another couple came in as we were beginning to check out, and they were approached in the same way we were and were offered masks. Both of them started yelling at the poor girl, Andrea, and demanded to know why they had to wear a mask if my husband didn’t. She explained that he informed her that he had a medical condition, and this guy goes off louder, ‘Well you didn’t ask me that!’ At that point we stayed at the checkout because we were getting worried for the safety of the staff. Andrea, the manager, I believe, who was offering the masks, then politely told him that due to HIPPAA law she cannot legally ask someone if they have a medical condition, and that it’s his responsibility to to inform her, just like we did when approached (I work in the medical field and she is absolutely correct). This guy loses his mind, and he and his girlfriend slam out the door, SPITTING on it as they left. I don’t know if everyone in retail has to deal with that treatment, but it was sad and not one of the staff people in there deserved that kind of abuse.Service and Products? 10/10 Abusive customers? Absolutely disgusting.Those ladies should be commended for keeping calm and professional in a situation that was not only confrontational, but outright hostile on the part of the customer. Please know we loved our experience and will be back any time we need something new!

Cool store, not a lot of lingerie to choose from. Ladies working there made me feel uncomfortable because they were staring at me like I was gonna steal something. And they kept asking me if I needed help like they didn’t hear me say I was fine the first time. Judgmental environment ️

I am an older woman, and I was very nervous going into a store like this. My nerves were immediately gone the moment I stepped foot in the door. Andrea and her staff are patient, knowledgeable, and will treat you like they have known you for years. Any question you need answered they are happy to answer no matter how big or small. I will continue to shop at Ambiance Boardman, you don’t get this level of service many places anymore.

I am a transgender woman, early in transition. I was so freaked out about going into a store for the things I needed, but I’d heard good things so I went, and I’m so glad I did. Andrea and the other employees were so awesome to me, supportive and treated me like any other customer. That’s worth more than 5 stars to me. Thank you.

I shop here about once a week, and I am always greeted with big smiles. Always a great experience, clean, well stocked store. I really appreciate the service i get here.

I was looking for a gift for my wife, but wasnt sure what to get her. Andrea and her staff were extremely helpful, and helped me find the perfect gift! It was the hit of her birthday party!

As a first time customer I’m very satisfied with my customer experience and all over experience! Crystal was a huge help and she made me not only feel welcome but she was extremely helpful and had recommendations for me!! I gave her a idea of what I was wanting and crystal found my exact matches!!! She knew the store very well and you could tell she loves her job!! Ambiance is a great store to find lingerie for all shapes and sizes unlike other stores!! I will continue shopping at this location!!!
