Multiple times this year our group had to wait 30-40 minutes for a cart after having tee times scheduled days in advance. Today was no different. We not only waited for the same 30-40 minutes, but when we showed up, found out we weren’t in the system, despite calling earlier in the morning to confirm our time. It got worse as the unprofessional gentlemen who works at the pro shop later came up to our group, took our cart, and then proceeded to swear at us.Golf pro is never at the club during busy times and it shows.Played here a lot last year, but will not be returning. I suggest you don’t either.

Would have given it 4+ stars but for the ungodly sand traps. Supposedly they had fixed them from when the course was Springwood but they are just as bad. Appeared that they hadnt rake and manicured for months. Greens were nice as were the fairways. FIX THE FRIGGIN TRAPS !!!!!!

Do not listen to Brandon Stultz or Jacob Yealy. We were playing behind a six-some on Sunday and what upset us at first was that we were told we could not play as a five-some. So we played as 2 and 3. We were going to complain to the golf pro about this until we saw the shop guy come out to #4 and talk with this group of 6 players. We found out later that they didnt allow them to play 6, but took it upon themselves to play 6 anyway. To give a 1 star review based on them breaking the rules and then getting their feelings hurt because they got caught, is unreasonable and weak. And then to use social media to blast them is even weaker. There is no way they waited 60 minutes either. We waited maybe 15 minutes for a cart and in the meantime, they gave us a voucher for a small bucket of range balls for the inconvenience. No other golf course has ever done that for use before. The staff has always been friendly and cordial. The rates are reasonable and the golf course is in really good shape. We love playing here because no two holes are the same and its a really good test of your skill. Do not listen to Brandon Stultz or Jacob Yealy. They were part of the six-some. I highly recommend Bridgewater GC!

Today was my first time at this course since it was the disaster that was Springwood Golf Course. The pro shop is great, the guy working in the shop (sorry -- didnt catch the name) was incredibly friendly and actually wanting to talk about the course and golf in general. The course is now gorgeous despite a tiny bit of work they are still doing to finish the redesign. The price was more than fair for nine holes -- will most definitely be making this a regular stop.

AMAZING! I wish I could give 10 stars. This is golf heaven for anyone who loves the game. Unlike any other local courses, each hole is unique and fun which makes Bridgewater Golf Club extraordinary. The greens are superb and beautifully sloped. The bunkers are deep. The layout is beautiful. The golf instructor, Dan Baker, was knowledgeable and patient. His teaching technology and video tool used was very helpful. I received the guidance I need to get better. And the Full Swing simulator is out of this world fun. I cannot wait to play here year after year, this will be the course I choose HANDS DOWN.

What a difference 3 months make. Dan Baker and his staff have turned what once was one of the premier golf courses in York county into a very unique but challenging par 34 golf course. 9 holes of the original course were used, but Dan made some changes to a couple of the holes. The course is living up to its former name, and is in EXCELLENT condition. The fairways are pristine. The greens are rolling true and the bunkers have plenty of sand in them. It is a BLAST to play some of the most challenging holes in York county. This is definitely a must play, ONCE AGAIN.If nine holes suits your schedule,or 18. I played 18 and it took me less than 4 hours to play .

Since it opened for the 2018 season, I have played this course 6 times under both 9 and 18 hole formats. I have found the course to now be in excellent condition and receiving constant care. All the fairways and greens are in outstanding shape. Divots and ball marks seem to be repaired daily by the course staff. When previously the Springwood Golf Course, the sand traps on this course were awful, full of rocks, improper drainage, etc. Now all of that has been repaired/updated. The sand traps now hold white, fluffy sand so the days of not playing out of the traps are gone. The current 9 hole layout offers challenges throughout the course. As a par 34 (three par 3s, one par 5, the balance par 4s) I have to use every club in my bag during each round. Play seems to be abit lighter in the early morning but regardless of how busy the course seems, during all my rounds I have played 9 holes in ~ 90 min. and 18 holes in less than 3 hours. The course easily permits starting after 5:00 PM and being able to play 9 before dark. The friendly and customer-focused staff make this a very enjoyable venue for a 9 or 18 hole, round of golf. In addition to the course, an excellent driving range, putting greens and constantly improving Pro Shop are also on the property. Consequently, I highly recommend this course to all.

Dan Baker has finally made this course what it was originally designed to be. The way the course was mismanaged and neglected under the previous management made the course nearly unplayable. This business thinks that it is within their rights to slaughter geese living at their golf course. They said murdering them will be done in a humane and ethical way. There is nothing humane about killing a being that does not want to die. This organization and its owner should be ashamed. These animals lived there before you opened your precious golf course.

Going to be a very popular spot in YorkI was genuinely impressed with service, course conditions, and pro-shop amenities at Bridgewater GC. Friendly and helpful PGA Pro and staff make you feel welcome, which is always a good way to start your round. The course design suits all skill levels... Fun and interesting from the forward tees, but also long and challenging enough on the back tees for the better player. Elevation changes, shots over water, contoured and tiered greens keeps every golfer interested throughout. The pro shop has an brand new indoor putting green and simulator for when the weather gets cold and/or rainy. The addition of the restaurant/bar area and massive patio (also with bar) overlooking the 18th green is going to be a big hit.

For the price we paid $40 it was okay and would have gotten 3 stars from me if I didnt know that we got a reduced rate. While I did enjoy the track and the difficulty of some of the pin placements, others were just not prudent for a municipal course and for a quick round for players on that course. I have played easier pin placements at Bulle Rock. The greens were not in great shape and very rarely rolled well and the bunkers had zero sand in them and were barely ground up dirt. Breakfast options were a candy bar or crackers and we were looked at crazily when we asked about what they had for breakfast. I would not look to return anytime soon.

This used to be one of my favorite places to play in the area. Disappointed the course has really gone downhill. Saturday morning (yesterday) Greens were spotty and full of Poa annua (grass) so they no longer putted true. Every sand bunker was a strategically placed gravel quarry. Mostly rocks and clay with a little bit of sand to provide a false hope of escape. Love the layout and challenge to work the ball to hit fairways and greens, blind shots from the tees, incredible altitude changes. So much potential lost. Heck they couldnt even manage to reset the White and Gold tee markers on a few holes from a Friday outing. Apparently the staff doesnt give a crap.

Ju
Review №81

This course has the opportunity to be the best in the county:With that said, mud in bunkers is unacceptable. Obvious signs that pins have not been cut recently is unacceptable. The usual 4.25 inch hole is only 3.75 inches here because of grass grow over around the lips of the cup. The tee placements werent moved in days either, obvious by the hundreds of divots.Driving from 9 to 10, you might as well take a tour of a dump ghetto. I give this course another chance every few years and it never fails to disappoint me. With some REGULAR maintenance, this could be a fabulous course. The layout is great. Lack of care flat out makes it horrible. Oh, and they charge high greens fees. This course cares about the bank they make at the bar and lounge. They moved their pro shop into the basement of the facility. You have to walk around the back of the establishment to even find it. The driving range is only slightly better than the dump in Tin Cup.Spend your money at a course that actually cares, because this one does not. I visited the pro shop after the front nine and advised the young man behind the desk that they should be embarrassed of themselves.Springwood, hire a maintenance staff, fire your superintendent and take the course where it was supposed to be. A challenge surrounded by beauty. I play a hell of a lot of golf and I will not be returning here soon. BUY SAND, CUT NEW HOLES, TEND YOUR TEEBOXES. Junk!
