Visited Lamar Park in winter. Plenty to do there with 2 playgrounds, bouldering wall, baseball diamond, volleyball court, good walking around ponds, frisbee golf, etc. Several pavilions and splash pad for summer time! Very family friendly. Watch out for goose poop.

One of the nicer parks in the area. Green and white seasons, never over run with people. The disc golf course along with so many other things to do,offers a great variety of entertainment at a public park

Lots of shade trees. Plenty of picnic tables. Several ponds with ducks, geese, and fish. Paved walking path. Several paring areas. And so much more.

Lamar Park is great. It has everything including disc golf, tennis, fishing, a playground, a walking path around the big pond and much more. Its great for families and adults.

Always a great time. Playground with rockwall, splash pad, bathrooms, shelter areas, multiple fields, scenery, well kept, plenty of seating and trash cans.

It was pretty fun. The splash pad was interesting, as an adult I didnt think I would have fun.

Came for a birthday party here today for the attraction of the splash pad as the website states it is now open to operation, and yet it was not. It was so hot...

Grounds are kept well. It has good drainage and will be dry while other parks are soggy in low areas.

Onky went to the baseball stadium but it was nice. Lots of seating and field was in decent shape.

Great summer place for family. It is spacious. Kids love the water fountains. Very clean park. Big lot of parking space. Convenient parking in front. I recommend this park.

We had my sons surprise going away party for him going in the military.Fantastic location, awesome reservation and deposit price! The park staff were attentive and helpful. Restrooms clean! This park has a ponds splash pad, playground and a pavillion and grill on site.

Stop sanitizing your kids after the playground like they were just playing in the sewer. Kids need to keep their immune system strong by fighting germs.

Lamar Park is a clean family friendly park. It is the perfect place for a family picnic or a game of basketball game. There is a beautiful trail to walk and a large pond you can walk around. The splash pad and playground are perfect for kids and both are clean and well maintained. This is a park that has something for all ages!

Great park to relax at. They have a playground and splash pad the kids can play at, baseball diamonds if you have enough players and plenty of picnic tables to host parties with. Not to mention its of course all free. A good place to go.

Very nice park. Bathrooms are a bit spread out but the venue for last week was an awesome band and this week a polka band and i think fun was had by all. Often people just dance by thete chairs. The grass is pretty hard to dance on if your doing something fancy but it works. Great fun and good weather for it so far. Next week a double band!

A nine-hole course surrounded by picnic areas, ponds, and even a baseball diamond. Best time to play is early morning. You can not play through if there are picnicking on the fairway being played. Please remember that.

Nice place to take the kids

On October 12th. They had a trick-or-treat for the little kids from 4-6pm. It was a great time for EVERYONE who came.

Its a really nice park. It has a splash for the kiddos & play equipment. There are grills & picnic tables. Sometimes they have concerts in the park. Very clean too.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the music was entertaining i would recommend this Park for all your family and friends gatherings....this summer Ive been looking forward to every Tuesdays when they have a live band. You can either sit in your car and listen to the music or bring lawn chairs for up close view, food/drinks and ice cream available and not let me forget that you can even bring your pet. Clean, and maintained well. Splash pad and two playgrounds tables and benches. Good for family outtings or gatherings. Needs some more shaded areas .

This is a lovely park. I would love to walk and not find signs of careless behavior. I regularly deposit 4 grocery bags of trash I pick up in trash bins conveniently placed through out the park.A reminder butts dont biodegrade.

Large, well kept park with a lot for kids to play on.

I could do almost anything there good for kids, parties, and game. Me and 30 something other people had a graduation party and it was amazing, highly recommended.

This is a very nice urban park. Theres a neat walking path around the pond on Roys Street. Just enough to get a few steps in.

Great had kids ages 3 month 2 yr old and 5 yr old who all enjoyed it, nice area and loved that there was actual shades spots and large area to play as well as sit away without getting splashed, loved that there was a large grassy area to enjoy as well and was a very fairly clean park from what I could tell (:

I play Coed softball here on Tuesdays through the City of Wyoming. Its good clean fun.

The pads seem short but the 9 holes are well placed. Not to challenging but good if youre in town and need a quick throw

Not many people know that this place has wheelchairs that you can use for your loved ones you just have to call and reserve them they were absolutely amazing to help us out with the people I take care of in wheelchairs

I rate it a 5 because our family comes here all the time to come eat together and spend time together. I will, definitely be coming back.

Lamar park is a nice sports park. The only attraction for walking and scenery seemed to be the lake which you can walk all the way around. They also do music in the park here. If you are into sports this place is great. I only wish there was a more scenic park available.

Great place for a children’s birthday or just to go and play on the splash pad with the kids. The splash pad is fairly large and clean. The bathrooms are also well maintained. Seating and shade is limited around the splash pad so I would advise you bring some collapsible chairs and either a beach tent or umbrella for you and the kids.

Wasnt this the location of the former Fort Wyoming? Didnt they have rodeos here? Demographics of the area have changed considerably since then. Very nice ethnically diverse family oriented park these days. Feels safe, polite, friendly. Great place to do a little occasional quiet r/c flying.

I went here for the festival, and it was fun. I went with my cousins, and we were playing. But a little TOO noisy.

Too many Canadian Geese

Alot to do play ground for kids, basketball hoops, tennis courts. Not alot of picnic tables sadly.

This is a fun park and there is a lot of room to do a lot of different activities. The only draw back is the lack of shaded places to side/play.
