Beautiful, serene, and full of biting insects. Will review again in the Fall.
This land has a fascinating history, and the forest is quite peaceful. I highly recommend reading up on the area before a visit if local history interests you. Its also a great spot for Geocaching and letterboxing. The trails maintained by the Greater Worcester Land Trust lead to some pretty views, but it does get very buggy in the spring. The trail isnt very wide or smooth like a rail trail, and there are a couple of spots that pass over/through small brooks, so those of us with disabilities should take caution. Dont miss Deed Rock, just off the main trail.
Fun hike but not much to see
Nice walk in the woods
Literally took my up a dirt road that my car almost got stuck on and not entrance to be found
Like the trails. There werent too many different trails that I noticed. However, I have only been twice. Trails and terrain offer a solid challenge for all levels of hikers. Trails arent marked as well as some other trails throughout Worcester/ Central Mass. Overall, a great place to hike in the city and once you get deep enough it ALMOST feels like you arent in a city!
Nice view
Gods acre!! I like that
The last 1/2 mile of road was all ditches aND rocks. The GPS took us into the woods; no signs, no parking, no trails. The road dumped out into someones house/yardWith all the beautiful places around, dont come here.
Youll love this place, trust me!
Thanks for letting me know this place exists.
