Great playground and trails for walking or jogging. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly. People go fishing. Theres always ducks and geese.
Cass Park is a lovely park near ST. Annes Arts and Cultural Center. We loved the nature and beauty of a fall day.
I love taking kids to this park we can go fishing, when water is not super low like right now. We can feed the geese and just go for nice walk around the park and there are 2 playgrounds for kids now.
Clean, safe park for everyone. Dogs are welcome in some areas (as long as pet owners are responsible, itll stay that way) Basketball court as well as a soccer field. Theres plenty of fish in the pond for fishing. No Ice skating during the winter months! Great walking paths for those who enjoy exercise, and two playgrounds, which were updated last year along with other areas of the park. One thing I really like about this park is that its never crowded. There is plenty of parking too. Although its rare to see wild animals grazing here, Cass park is home to turtles, egrets, swan, ducks,Beaver, Dear, Fisher-Cats, and lots of other RI wildlife. Unless you get up really early in the morning, you may catch a glimpse of some fury creatures. Summer weekends at Cass Park have many family events. Note: As of 2018 the state is still working on improvements and rebuilding the parks ball fields
Walk my dog their everyday. Plenty of parking and peaceful almost any time day.
Cass Park was great we go there 3 times a week. And we feel safe. Its clean
Clean cool for fishing.kids play at the new built playground basketball baseball field or just nice to relax .I go once a week just to sit in peace and eat ...
Awesome on Tues nights at 6:30pm we have a NA and AA meeting there in woonsocket,RI on cass ave at cass park ... Everyone is invited to come
Love this place they put a lot off work into it
Im a newbie to Woonsocket and many locals recommended this as a good place to take my senior dog...he loves it..plenty of room to walk, socialize and he loves the water
Love there Great Service
There are three playgrounds a pond for fishing. Basketball and paths in the woods for hiking . Great place for all (; . Lots of parking and handicap . able
I especially love Cass Park Pond. It’shome to ducks, geese and a lone blue heron. The City of Woonsocket stocks the pond with trout and holds a fishing derby every Spring. Foliage and flowers, such as cattails, sweet flag (grass) and several wildflowers border the pond. Several granite benches are situated around the pathway and make it accessible for sitting and relaxing. The pond feeds a small river that flows down and to the south. There are swings, a basketball court, and baseball diamond also. Woonsocket High School is less than 100 feet from the park and the kids pour out of school and into the park in the afternoon. Trails lead back past the diamond and around the track where it’s wooded. Cass Park is a nice little park for the family, dog walkers, meditators and the like.
I go everyday with the dog. Friendly private place
Its so nice park to relax at sit by the water
Ok place to waste a bit of time with kids
Fed some ducks with the family. Clean and quiet.
Cass park is always a good place to come. They have picnic tables so you can eat .you can fish and a playground for the kids.
Beautiful to just take a deep breath
My daughter and friend fed the ducks, played on the playground, walked the trial.
Great place to relax !
Its a nice park to take your family.
I like going there to meet up with my girlfriend. Its a great place to sit down and watch the swim around. Or just for a small hike up the work out trail.
Great playground for kids lots of parking short walk around the pond brand new basketball courts always a good time
Beautiful park, very clean, nice friendly people. Wonderful to spend a lazy afternoon by the water fishing with the kids. Dogs are welcome on leashes, make sure you bring a bag to pick up poop. Help keep it clean for everyone else. Theres a wonderful playground for the kids to play. A path way to walk around. Nice big parking lot. Benches to sit on, on bring your own chair. Beautiful sunsets too! All different types of fish, turtles, birds, frogs. Highly recommended.
Good place to bring lil kids to have fun and enjoy the day
Been going here since a child, theyve done a lot of work making it a lot nicer. Its one of the top fishing spots in the city, they hold events here for that. Very nice playground for many age groups, also has a trail, basket ball courts, etc. If you are into Pokemon GO, the digital Gym hosts many raids daily.
Nice place for a game of basketball (brand new courts) a pond for fishing, and a brand new softball field.
Saw someone smoking weed in their car why dont they have police driving thru there more often
Still a fun place for kids and families
Very peaceful and very clean
Great place to take your kids
I went in the winter, so the aesthetics werent amazing. Its a pretty good spot to smoke, if youre looking for a place like that. Nice to watch sunsets at too and has a baseball field.
Nice park for all age groups. Theres something for everyone to enjoy.
Kudos to the city of Woonsocket for the upgrades to this park. Great playground for the kids, brand new courts, pond cleaned up and revamped and baseball field under remodel currently. Great things happening in this park!
The cities maintenance workers need to clean up the porta potty in that park. Thing is absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even go in and I still washed my hands.
This park would be fantastic if people didnt litter all over the place. I literally pulled a CVS shopping cart out of the river!! Seriously!?! People need to respect our parks and be proud of the nice places we could have...
My husband and I took my grandson to the kids park on the Cass Park Side where the high school is and they built this wonderful kids area and we had a great time with my grandson they have all these new play Jim areas where they have to climb and get exercise its a great area for kids to climb and get exercise and learn skills. Then we took a walk around the duck pond and there was quite a few Ducks out and they had planted some different foliage and flowers and pawn plant so it was very pretty to walk around and the land was cleaned up really nice compared to a few years ago so I definitely would give this a 5
The mayor has made this park very enjoyable. The playground is very kid friendly for toddlers and older children. The duck pond is great for feeding the ducks or fishing.
They recently updated the playground and its wonderful. My son loves to play on this creative layout and I love the squishy ground. Gives you peace of mind while theyre running around.
I go here to get my Peace and Serenity
Fun family park. So beautiful.
Beautiful place
I love the new basketball court kids had fun
The park has always had a rich history I watched them build a high school when I was young I watch them turn liggetts field which was a Little League field into Reno field which was a Colt league and still is it has a small-town feeling to it well done Woonsocket
Nice park with lake for fishing
A good place just to sit out & enjoy good weather, pack a lunch & read a magazine under a tree with a cold drink, to walk, fish, use the ball field, take the kids to the playground(s) or use the short walking trails or the track or basket ball court on the other side. I think there is also a tennis court across from the basketball court too- though I might be mistaken. Still a nice place to visit.
Woonsocket did a great job of fixing the place up.
Great place to bring the kids or just a quick walk alone, also pet friendly
My dog loves Cass Park
Cass park is a nice place to walk my small dog. The wild life is surprising for such a small city park. Ducks and geese. There are a few Herons and turtles as well. People come to fish. The pond is stocked early in the season for a local fishing derby. For the most part its clean. I make a habit of picking up trash each time I go. It is next to the high school so 2-3pm its full of school age kids. So I usually go early a.m. before school or mid day when parents bring there little ones to the park area. It has an old reputation for being full of a bad element. My experience the last 3 years is not that. Well at least at the times Im there. The city has done quite a bite to spruce it up and maintain it. I would not go at dusk or in darkness. There have been people there when I have driven by after dark. Day time is always better regardless of where you walk. Always. I bring poop bags for my dog and always clean up. There are plenty of waste receptacles available. Hopefully everyone can be as conscientious as I am. It was an enjoyable experience today. However!!! Very important to lock your vehicle up and keep anything valuable in your trunk. I had an experience of having my car broken into there. Broad daylight, 1pm in the afternoon on a Saturday. Fortunately the police recovered my stolen property undamaged. They did take my change. I hope it was worth it.
Nice quiet park great for dog walking and fishing and more
Its a nice park
Love it there but the goose poop needs to be cleaned up
Great to see the city investing into our parks
Great fishing swing sets yada
They have renovated it over and it is quite nice
Good time pass for the kids in the evening. They removed the swings from the main play area. But you do have swings for adults and kids across the pond. The pond is not so clean, so you may not want your kids to go near. The floor in the play area is rubber mat - so its good for kids who tumble down easily. Kids less than 2 this may not be the place as the structures have lots of openings here and there - so you might have to keep a close eye.
Nice park, in the process of renewal.
Nice playground for the kids and quiet
The city Parks and Recs did a great job
Love this park, very cute and sometimes private. Gives me a piece of mind.
Cass park is a nice, quiet park to go and think...

Great playground for toddlers.
Very fun for kids
Small walking park playground good conditions baseball basketball nice family place
Nice quiet & peaceful.
I very much enjoyed visiting Cass Park. I wish I had known it existed when my kids were younger. I would have happily brought them for the playground, swings, wide areas for running and frisbee, tennis courts, fishing. It is bright, clean, well maintained, peaceful. Nice benches. Has a porta-potty there now (August 2018) but I dont know if thats always there or just there while some construction is being done. I wasnt bothered by any bugs. Just a lovely walk and a lovely chat with a young man catching some of the stocked bass. (catch & release). Easy to reach by RIPTA line 87. Easy to reach by car or by bike. I didnt see any bike racks, however.
The kids park is really nice .. seems like there redoing the bigger park Awesome
Been going here my whole life, beautiful, many utilities. Great for kids. Parking área and a lake, pretty well kept.

Very nice park
Nice little park with kids play area with a spongy suface for protection. Slides, swings..crawly and climb things...and a nice pond for pictures and taking a walk around. Could be cleaner..many people are just ignorant and throw their trash all over. But overall ok.
