Small sand and grass beach (mostly grass). You can find a space in the sun or in the shade. No lifeguard on duty. Tubes allowed. Public restrooms. You need to get an online reservation to visit (to keep social distancing, COVID-19).

Clean beach, quiet crowds. Multiple grills near picnic tables in the shade and a good-sized swimming area. Clean restrooms & parking lot is near the picnic area for ease of getting stuff out of your car.

They are doing a great job of allowing us to still enjoy the park, and feel safe at the same time. Tables have been placed to allow for social distancing. And everyone visiting today, was good about maintaining a safe distance.

Staff was really nice compared to other parks Ive been to. Everything was clean beaches are sandy enough and the water is but from the beach for about 3 feet into the water is little rocks I have sensitive feet so maybe bring water shoes.

Great place to take your family. Definitely keeps the kids entertained. The water here is super clean. I came on the 4th of July and it was about 90 degrees and the water was nice and warm. I will definitely take the hour and a half ride back here again someday soon.

Cant say enough about this little gem tucked in alongside a scenic road. Small enough that it really cant get too crowded. Very very friendly staff. Changing rooms. Bathrooms. A couple of porta potties. BBQ pits available. Handicap tables such that one end of MOST of the tables will allow wheelchair access. A beautiful lake. Clean water. Kayak access. A couple of outside water spigots. Just be really careful about the slide in the afternoon. The kids say its so hot itll toast your buns.

It was a surprisingly good park for me. The bathrooms were old but that was expected. I really didnt expect the beach and lake access to be very good and it was okay. what I liked about at the most is there were lots of picnic tables and places to sit that were in the shade. There was lots of parking and a great lawn area for a larger gathering.

Water is from lake Winnipesaukee. They have playgrounds for children. The water isnt very deep which is great for small children as well as older kids. There are buoys that only allow you to go to far so no worries about boats.

While Lake Wentworth isnt the biggest lake in the area, or in NH for that matter, shadowed by the much bigger and much more popular Lake Winnipesaukee, it is, in my opinion a much quieter, clean and better option.Long story short, I was able to spend a couple of amazing days in a lake-front house there through friends of my fiancees family and had an absolute blast. The water is slightly warm, super clean and theres plenty of beautiful biodiversity to admire without it being ruined my algae. Theres fish, theres loons and theres even a small family of bald eagles. Its also very serene and while Im not much of a nature person, I cannot wait to return there.I just hope that people dont catch on and start invading it like they did the other, bigger lake. Its definitely a fun time whether you want to admire the lake, take a boat out or kayak. I highly recommend it. Its kind of a shame that it falls right into Romneys roaming grounds but what can I say, the man has good taste when it comes to lakes.

Lake Wentworth, little sibling to Winnipesaukee is frozen solid and a great place for winter fun. Shown here is an ice-boater enjoying an afternoon sail. The Lakes Region of New Hampshire is year round fun and a great place to raise families. Come explore it for yourself.

I absolutely love this place. Its always clean and the staff are so friendly. The price to get in is extremely reasonable as well. Its great for all ages and the playground is certainly one of my youngest daughters favorite parts. The view of the area is spectacular and can only imagine how it would be to see a sunset from there.

Lots of picnic tables, several fire pits, very shady (pine trees, mostly,) bathrooms & changing rooms. Bring tablecloth, because there may be pitch on tables, plus, its a good idea, anyway. The lake is clear and swimming is great. No lifeguard, so the swimming area is marked by roped buoys. But still adequate for a good refreshing time in the water, especially for the kids. NOTE:If you have a walking handicap, the grounds are covered with the long roots of the pine trees, so tread carefully and preferrably, have a companion to support you. Been going to Wentworth State Park for around 60 years -- brings back lots of memories!!

The beach is clean. The water is clean. Its pretty shallow but its a long roped off area along the beach to swim in. Also there are plenty of picnic tables and grills for cooking out and picnicking. However, keep in mind that the park does close at 5 p.m. so plan accordingly.

I love to go here with my friends lol. You have to pay but,its kinda worth it..But, there are leaches on one whole side of the park. If I were you I would go to albea beach if you Dont want to pay. I like going here because, its not as crowded but it is very peaceful. You can also blast out kpop,or dance like a crazy person if you want (call me when you blast out kpop, and tell me when your gonna start dancing for me to get out of wolfboro).
