Fantastic place for skiing. I love the warming hut that provides a very comfortable place for resting, having a snack or nap.

Sewall woods has always been a special place for me. Believe it or not but there used to be a road from Sewall road into the Pit where the town would get its sand, back in the day. And there used to be a saw mll in there at one time. But now it is a place where one can go to and walk in the tranquility of nature. Meandering around any number of trails at any season. And with the mountain bike trails the exploration is endless. My favorite trails are Tuttles trail and Rays crossing and of course, Pit Rim

Lovely, easy walk in the forest - do not go to the Sewall Road address. The parking and trailhead are at the end of Clow Road.

Easy walking trails in the warmer months. Great for young children. The trails are mostly shaded and the old stone walls make a great atmosphere for your walk/run.

I bought my ski Nordic ski pass this year and the trails are groomed regularly! Its a fun little ski area with easy and more difficult terrain! Definitely close to home!

Nice place nature is beautiful any where

Nice local system of Nordic skiing, hiking and biking trails. In the summer all the trails are available for multiuse, with some nicely built singletrack mountain biking trails. In the winter the main trails are groomed for skiing-only, with some of the side trails still available for anyone. When there is enough snow a connector path is groomed to connect these trails over to the Abenaki system. All are groomed and maintained by Nordic Skier, the local shop, and skiers are required to purchase a day or season pass for trail use. Theres a nice warming hut at the entrance off Clow Rd for changing and warming.
