Escape Room Studios

All workers were super friendly. The rules were clear and easy to follow. Overall a great escape room, but you will definitely need some clues from the game master.

Lots of fun, challenging but not over the top. I am excited to go back and try the other rooms.

Second time at an escape room and this place did not disappoint! The clues were difficult but doable and very entertaining. One of the owners talked with the group after escaping and gave us more detail and background on our theme room, and was very knowledgeable. Cant wait to try the new rooms!

Good place, had a good time figuring out clues. Challenging.

This was such a great night out of fun! First time two weeks ago we did the steampunk room. It’s a lot of problem solving and searching. Very interactive game and so well thought out! The owner was even telling us the story behind it all afterwards.... Then I came back yesterday with some friends to try the other special Vampire one during October. That was so sweet. I can’t wait till they have the other two game rooms set up. Looking for something to do? This is the place!

Fantastically detailed Escape Room! We played n this airstream. Almost won with a team of 4. The gamemaster is creative and helpful. Highly recommend.

These escape rooms were awesome! There is no comparison to Erebus or the rooms in Novi, these blow them out of the water. I came back for both of the escape rooms here, the Steampunk and the Vampire rooms, and can’t wait for the studio to open. Highly recommend.

Great experience and the steam punk room was so authentic I couldnt believe it. I spent as much time finding clues as I did looking at the decorations. I will be going back soon.

This place is a total blast! Cant wait till next time. See u soon

GREAT time for couples or friends can’t wait to go back

This escape room was so much fun. Cant wait to go back for another chance to escape

Amazing mobile escape rooms for a party, or corporate event, steampunk themed! Awesome friendly staff 10/10 would recommend!

Family outing, we had a fantastic time. Our game master Sarah was fantastic, providing just enough support to help and make the experience thoroughly enjoyable. The Gypsy room was very well put together, very authentic while providing a really fun challenge. It was very accessible and great for all ages.I’ve been to the escape room in Novi, and this one was far superior in every way. The game master being in the room with us was a welcome presence, and everyone in our group had an amazing time.

We had a great time breaking out of the Gypsy room. The staff was awesome and accommodating. The groupon was a great deal too!

Omg, so fun!!!! Best escape room I have been to!

Awesome staff! Awesome games! This escape room is well worth your money comparatively to other Escape rooms in the area.

Had a great time. Cool old camper (Airstream) and antique items. Worth the time! Will go back for the new ones.

Didnt know what to expect. We went as a group of 4 and it was really fun! Would certainly recommend for a fun group event. Both gentlemen that were there were very polite and had great attitudes. We are excited to come back for the new rooms they are currently creating!

Lots of fun. Seemed very challenging. Had a couple small setbacks with the locks but just took a couple of tries. Game master was very nice, no yelling not to touch stuff(my group has common sense and everything they dont want you to touch is labeled). Theme and clues were well thought out.

This was awesome! My girlfriend and I went here to celebrate our 6 month anniversary and had a blast! The game master is super nice! This was our first time here and definitely wont be our last! I encourage everyone to check this out! Forget about the skepticism and just live! ️

Had a great time at this escape room. It was a great experience for my sales team. Looking forward to booking next years team building experience at this location. Thanks Sam! Great Job!

Fun puzzles, and very challenging!

Thank you Escape Room Studios for providing us with a fun, memorable team building experience. Having you on site with us was a great, efficient experience. Our team is excited to have you out again in January to start our New Year! Thanks again!

Had loads of fun there! Great place ! Would recommend for a fun date night or girls night!

I had an awesome experience here. Staff was incredibly kind. The game was so fun. We escaped. We will definitely return when the new games come out this fall.

Same experience as others. The room is extremely small and one of the staff member sits with you inside the room and continuously asks you not to touch things and to be careful... Wont go there anymore and I would recommend other escape rooms with maybe cameras installed instead of a person sitting there and watching you.

Fantastic family day. 5 of us ages 16-51 went did the Escape Room and had an absolute blast!!! Recommend it to anyone wanting to have a fun hour of fun :) We will be back when you have other rooms ready for us to ESCAPE ;) Game Master was very nice, and it was for sure a challenge to get through in 60 min. We just made it at the buzzer!

Not happy at all. The space was very small and did not have enough room for everyone to look around. the staff is locked in with you and he sits there and constantly says be careful everythings an antique. When people are timed and rushing they arent worried about be delicate with antiques. I will never go back and would not recommend to anyone.

My wife and I had the wonderful pleasure tonight of going through the Steampunk Gypsy Thieves Oil room. Having been to a few Escape Rooms, I must rate this one at the top. The Vintage props and the overall Steampunk Theme is VERY well executed. Wonderful story line, great puzzles and a great over all experience. I HIGHLY recommend this room. Do not be swayed by the couple negative reviews. Not everyone can be happy all the time. Yes, the Game Master was in the room but I did not find him to be a hindrance at all. While we were working the puzzles, he was very informative about how he built the room and found all the BEAUTIFUL vintage props... VERY WELL DONE...

Had a great time with the family!!! Room was beautiful!!! Owner was so friendly!! Will be going back when the new rooms are ready!!

My husband and I went here for our first escape room experience. We did the steampunk gypsy escape room. It was really fun! Clues were difficult and there were many different puzzles to solve. We made it out with 1 second to spare lol

Had a blast at the mobile escape room with my awesome partner! If you havent tried this you are missing out on a great experience!

Bought this as a gift and family celebration for my neices 16th birthday, and WOW did we have a blast. The Gypsy room was gourgously decorated and unique. Our party was 7 and that was definitely all that could fit comfortably in there, but it wasnt crowded. Our GameMaster was AMAZING and helpful, but still made it so we worked together as a team to find the clues. The room was challenging yet still achievable, and it was great to have the GameMaster in the room with us. We were able to solve the puzzle and escape the room with 13 seconds left, and it was so intense and fun at the end!!This company also does off-site team building programs (its mobile!!) and not only do I think this would be a great team building experience, but also one that people would be talking about for a long time after. The only dissappointment we had with experience was that the cute dog from the website photos wasnt there. I highly recommend this Escape Room. It was so great, and I know a couple of people that will be getting this at Christmas for a unique and exciting gift. And we will be returning as soon as the new rooms that are under construction are competed!! Thank you!

Had a great time at Escape Room Studios! The game was challenging but not impossible. Our group got it with seconds left on the clock. Gamemaster was very fun and helpful!

This was the most fun we have had in a long time! Our gamemaster was the best! He even put up with my corney jokes! Looking forward to another adventure soon!! Ty you so much!!!

So much fun. Go with at least 4 people in your group.

This was my second time going to the escape room studio. I cant wait for their next room to open!

This was the first time to an Escape room and it was beyond what we expected, we loved it. The steampunk vintage air bus was filled with unique items that held the clues and puzzle. A lot of thought and care was put into making this room. Can not wait until the new room is done so we can go back. You can tell that the owner loves his job and cares about you having a great time. Love having the Game Master in the bus with us. She did a great job giving us the right clues as we asked for them. I would highly recommend Escape Room Studios - Novi/Wixom. Thank you for a good time

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED if you enjoy puzzles and problem solving! We were visiting from out of town and tried this game. It was our very first escape room experience and we had a blast! We almost made it out but fumbled at the final lock - just 10 more seconds and we wouldve been free! The location is hidden within a small industrial park but dont let that deter you. The game is housed in a beautifully decorated, meticulously restored vintage airstream parked inside. The setting seems like a Victorian-era room and is very ornate with amazing attention to detail (antique furniture, tables, decorations, knick-knacks, etc). It wouldve been nice to take the time to appreciate the setup if we had the time. Our party of three was grouped with another party of two (five total) and it was probably more fun than if we tried it by ourselves. The GameMaster/GameMistress was very nice, polite, and professional, and sat quietly at the front of the room and offered hints when we formally requested it. She also directed us with helpful suggestions along the way, especially with items that we werent familiar with. Non game-related items were clearly marked and everything else was in play though we did have to ask about a few things. Not knowing what to expect from a typical escape room, we found the puzzles challenging. In retrospect, they were clever and very well-thought out. A few of them were really, really neat! The main theme ties them together and they all culminated in the final puzzle that we fumbled. We still had tons of fun getting there! The people running the game were very friendly and professional. So was the fluffy little Pomeranian dog running around! Its apparent how much thought and care they put into this.We loved the charming Victorian steampunk setting and had lots of fun! We look forward to the next one when we visit again. Thanks for the great time and experience!5 Nov 2017

The caravan escape room is fun. The vampire escape room is lacking in puzzles and full of search tasks.

Posting on behalf of my Mother:Escape Room Experience – May 13thI am happy to relay how much I enjoyed the Gypsy Steampunk escape room in Novi. My daughter and son in law took me the escape room for my mother’s day present and we successfully solved together as a team. The “room” is really an airstream vehicle which is a treat just be in. However the interior is decorated with the most intricate items, wall art and pictures. I found the clues and task enjoyable and challenging. But adding to the escape challenge was my wandering eye. I found myself distracted and wanting to investigate every bit of the room not just those employed to solve the escape puzzle. The owner was patient and appropriately attentive. He is also passionate and takes pride in the creation of this room which is unique among escape rooms. Would definitely recommend!P.s. Respectful suggestions for the owner1) Maybe a dress up photo op – participants in steam puck clothes2) Maybe a small vial of the thieves oil as an up sell item? Packaging and history makes this, in my opinion, a stand alone item as well as promoting the escape room3) Custom made escape room story.. for upper end client, agree to create (or modify) an escape room that uses their ancestors in the narrative of the escape story?4) Sci-Fi steampunk escape room story ... 20,000 leagues under the sea? time machine? all copyright free literature. Participants are pre-loaded with some but not all the escape room story.

My Wife and 3 Children had a blast!!

Very fun I took part in the steampunk puzzle room and if we had another min or so I could have gotten the group out.

Challenging

Real friendly atmosphere, great setup for the game.
